Donald Trump is attempting to divert attention from the Jeffrey Epstein Scandal, which has caused an uproar among MAGA Republicans.

His latest tactic is to have Tulsi Gabbard, former Democratic Hawaii Congresswoman with a controversial record on foreign policy issues, and appointed Director of National Intelligence by Trump, to conjure up almost a decade later that President Barack Obama was involved in a conspiracy to destroy Trump’s election in 2016 over Hillary Clinton, and even making claims about the Presidential Election of 2020, which Trump still contends was “fixed” by the Democrats.

This ploy is being utilized, despite Marco Rubio, presently Secretary of State, and head of the Senate Intelligence Committee in 2019, asserting back then that Trump was assisted in winning in 2016 by Russian collusion.

It is a shock that Trump and Gabbard are claiming that Barack Obama has committed treason, a charge never labeled by a sitting President against a former President, who has been subjected to constant attack by Trump going back as far as 2011 onward.

This diversion from the damage and harm that Donald Trump is waging against the American people, and his willingness to do anything to take attention away from the Epstein Scandal, is stunning.

But no matter what Trump, Gabbard, and Attorney General Pam Bondi work to accomplish, there will be no actual charge of treason, as it has no basis, and just further proves how far Donald Trump is willing to go to promote retribution and revenge against so called “enemies” of his criminal activities.

MAGA Republicans Turn Against Trump On Epstein Scandal!

Shocking to believe Steve Bannon, Megyn Kelly, Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson, Charlie Kirk, Marjorie Taylor Greene, even Laura Loomer, and many other MAGA Republicans, are furious at Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi, for “covering up” the details on the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. This became evident at a right wing rally of “Turning Point USA” in Florida this past weekend.

This includes the indication that a prominent list of famous and wealthy public figures, likely including Donald Trump among them, had sexual relations with girls as young as 13, on Epstein’s private island in the Caribbean.

Also, the question whether Epstein committed suicide while in prison in 2019, or was murdered to cover up the so called “Client’s List”, is causing an eruption that is out of control, and undermining Trump support.

There are rumors that deputy FBI head Don Bongino, and even FBI Director Kash Patel, may also resign over this matter.

But this morning, unbelievably, some of the MAGA faithful seem to be backing away from criticism, and choosing to believe the report of Attorney General Pam Bondi, that there is no “Client’s List” of Epstein, and the attempt of Democrats to want an investigation in the House of Representatives failed to gain more than one Republican vote, so apparently, no investigation is likely!

And yet, MAGA Republicans are ready to accuse Joe Biden of all kinds of corruption, as they did with Bill Clinton, showing the total hypocrisy of Trump’s party!

Trump Cabinet Officers Center Of Controversy And Incompetency!

The Donald Trump Cabinet is rapidly imploding.

Attorney General Pam Bondi is under attack from the MAGA crowd and Deputy FBI Head Don Bongino for allegedly covering up the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, with the indication that Donald Trump and many other prominent figures were involved in a pedophilia scandal.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth took it upon himself to pause arms to Ukraine in its war against Russia, without Trump being informed of such action.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is undermining Americans’ health care in so many ways, including the fact that we have a massive Measles outbreak in several Western states, the largest in three decades, and Kennedy’s incessant war on vaccines.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has been shown to have provided delayed support for the victims of the tragic Texas floods last week, and for still advocating the end of FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency).

Also, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency under Noem and Thomas Homan, and the intervention of Stephen Miller, is violating the Constitution in its mad rush to deport immigrants, which in most cases, have committed no crimes.

And Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins claims that people who are disabled, elderly, and children, who will be harmed by Medicaid cuts, can fill the jobs of migrant farm workers, to replace such deported individuals.

And Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick is backing Donald Trump’s crazy tariff wars against American trade partners, while he certainly knows from history, that high tariffs undermine the American economy, and helped to cause the Panic of 1893 and the Great Depression of the 1930s.

While America has experienced corrupt and disgraceful Cabinet officers under other Presidents in American history, NEVER have we had so many such incompetent and unqualified members of a President’s cabinet as under Donald Trump!

Trump Utilizing National Guard In Los Angeles, Defying Governor And Mayor, Highly Unusual!

With immigration raids and arrests mounting all over the nation, but particularly in the major cities of Los Angeles and New York City, Donald Trump has taken the step of escalating his authoritarian impluses by deciding to utilize the National Guard in LA, against the wishes of Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass. It is extremely unusual and rare to take such an action against the recomendations of state and local officials.

This is clearly seen as a move toward total crackdown on basic civil liberties, perpetrated by Thomas Homan, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi, Pete Hegseth, and a host of other Trump appointees.

We have entered a “police state” situation, with great danger of massive violence and bloodshed, and it could spread quickly around the nation, and lead to the potential of civil war, a horrifying scenario!

There is no indication of massive violence, just of street protests, so this is a power grab by Trump and his government perpetrated to justify suspension of basic First Amendment rights.

It is not clear what can be done about the aggressive and abusive moves inititated by Donald Trump, so we are in a period of great mourning for our Constitution, rule of law, and American democracy!

Grievance, Revenge, Retribution, Cruelty: Hallmarks Of Trump Presidency!

America has NEVER had a situation as we have in the present: a President whose life is based on grievance, revenge, retribution, and cruelty.

It is a literal nightmare the nation faces, as there is no compassion, empathy, decency, morals, ethics present, and not only in Donald Trump, but also in his Cabinet and other advisers and appointees.

Everything that is said and done is meanspirited, and without any conscience.

Never has the nation had it anywhere as tragic as this, not even with Richard Nixon, as members of his Cabinet turned againat him, and Republicans in Congress cooperated in investigations that led to his resignation.

But even Nixon would be shocked to see the level of open corruption and venality exhibited by Trump and his top cohorts.

Never did we have a group of women, such as Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi, Tulsi Gabbard, and even White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who exhibit no sense of propriety in their statements and actions.

Never had we had such evil, nasty aides such as Stephen Miller and Thomas Homan and Russell Vought who are so anti immigrant to an extreme hard to fathom.

Never had we had people who have such arrogance as displayed by Pete Hegseth, Howard Lutnick, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, and even Vice President JD Vance.

Donald Trump Has Declared War On Supreme Court And Other Federal Courts’ Authority!

The nation is reaching a crucial turning point, as Donald Trump has attacked the seven members of the Supreme Court, who have ruled that he cannot use the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to deport immigrants without habeus corpus and due process.

Trump is ranting on Truth Social about this, and he and his MAGA Republican supporters have also unleashed attacks against District Court Judges and Appeals Court Judges who have ruled against his policies regarding deportation.

Chief Justice John Roberts has also made clear how disturbed he is at the attacks on the rule of law and the Constitution, as has Associate Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson, Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and even Trump appointed Amy Coney Barrett.

The fact that all three Trump Supreme Court nominees, including Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, along with Barrett, have voted against him, and that some of the District and Appeals Court Judges who have done so, are Reagan, George H W Bush, George W Bush, and even some Trump appointees, is an indication of great alarm in the judicial branch about Trump’s grabbing of power and attacks on the validity and legitimacy of the courts!

It looks as if Trump and his Cabinet officers, particularly Attorney General Pam Bondi, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Thomas Homan, and White House Adviser Stephen Miller, are hell bent on breaking the law and the Constitution, and refusing to obey the federal courts.

This is, if not stopped, a full scale attack on civil liberties, the Bill of Rights, and endangers all Americans, that any excuse could be used, without evidence or investigation, leading to massive deportations to foreign dictatorships beyond just El Salvador, with no appeal or ability to reverse such totalitarian, Fascist actions!

Trump “Meet The Press” Interview Highly Disturbing!

To commemorate his first 100 Days in Office, Donald Trump had an interview with Kristen Welker of NBC’s “Meet the Press”.

Trump expressed doubt that he had to obey the federal courts on the issue of the Alien Enemies Act not being able to be used as a justification of mass deportation of immigrants, with many of them going to the horrendous prison in El Salvador that the Trump Administration is paying to take many deported migrants, many of whom are not involved in any Venezuelan gang, or having an otherwise criminal record. This includes Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, a case which has been dragging on for nearly two months.

The idea of due process seems insignificant to Trump, and he “passed the buck” to Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is outrageous in her utterances, along with many other Trump Cabinet members!

So America is in a clear constitutional crisis, but also Trump is creating continued crises over his “expansionist” goals in foreign policy.

Therefore, Trump doubled down on the concept of taking Greenland away from Denmark, possibly by military force, and will continue to promote Canada as the “51st State”, when he meets this week with the Canadian Prime Minister, Mark Carney, whose party had an amazing revival in the recent national elections.

He also insulted Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett for being outspoken, calling her low level intellect, a characterization he used in 2024 against his Presidential opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris. So the common theme is to insult intelligent, educated, outspoken black women, a clear sign of racism!

Trump came across during the interview as overly combative, delusional, and clearly intending to defy the Constitution, rule of law, and the federal courts!

Rapid Return Of Wrongly Deported Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia Should Be Expedited Promptly!

The arrest of Maryland resident Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, a native of El Salvador, who has lived in the United States for the past 15 years, and his rapid deportation to the maximum security prison run by the dictator of El Salvador, all an administrative error, is an outrageous violation of human rights.

Garcia was identified as a Venezuela gang member wrongfully, and the concept of removing anyone to prison overseas without due process, a writ of habeus corpus–without charges, a court hearing, and ability to have a lawyer defend his rights in court—smacks of open Fascism, in the vein of Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, and other vicious dictators past and present. This is a threat to all Americans, whether citizens or migrants.

The Justice Department under Pam Bondi has been moving slowly on expediting this 29 years old family man’s return, despite the Supreme Court calling for the expediting of the return.

Tomorrow, Monday, April 14, the dictator of El Salvador is visiting the White House, and he should come with Mr. Garcia, to resolve the matter.

There is no excuse for any further delay, and every American should see this situation as a dire threat to all Americans, that if one person can be illegally deported without basic rights guaranteed to all residents in the nation, then all of us are unsafe!

And Garcia would have every right to speak his mind about his now month long incarceration and abuse he has suffered, as this violation of human rights is a danger sign to all Americans!

Trump Threatens Actions Against NPR, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, NY Times, Washington Post–Challenge To Accurate News Coverage!

Donald Trump has been lashing out against a free press, guaranteed under the First Amendment

In his political speech at the Department of Justice last Friday, totally inappropriate, he called for ending the licenses of news stations, including CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and CBS.

Trump also is calling for the end of government support of PBS and NPR. And he has attacked the two leading newspapers of record–the NY Times and Washington Post.

Trump has pressured changes by the management of cable stations and newspapers to appease his administration, a very alarming development.

He has also called, specifically, for the firing of Nicolle Wallace and Rachel Maddow, and applauded the fact that Joy Reid was removed from MSNBC.

Trump has had past fights with Jim Acosta, who recently left CNN.

He has managed to convince Jeff Bezos, one of the three wealthiest billionaires, and owner of the Washington Post, to interfere with free expression by columnists, leading many to leave that paper, and causing a major drop in online subscriptions.

He is trying to promote an obedient press that will not report anything negative about his Presidency, wishing to promote mistruths rather than truth and facts.

Courageous and principled journalists are refusing to bend to his demands, and he has called them enemies, and many of these people and organizations may face outrageous and illegal prosecutions by the Department of Justice under Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is only too willing to bend to the President’s wishes and whims.

The survival of a free press and news media is urgent to preserve American democracy and the rule of law, so this is an ongoing battle that must be fought without retreat!
