In the midst of the harsh immigration crackdown going on under President Donald Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, many are not aware or care to realize the dramatic impact of what is occurring on the American economy.

More than 1.2 million immigrants disappeared from the labor force between January and July 2025.

Immigrants are 20 percent of the American labor force, whether legal or undocumented.

45 percent of workers in agriculture, fishing, and forestry are immigrants.

30 percent of construction workers and 24 percent of service workers are immigrants.

43 percent of home health care aides are immigrants.

Besides the human suffering being caused by ICE raids and deportations, many industries and many millions of Americans are being harmed by the narrow minded policy of working to deport all immigrants that can be found, not just those who have committed serious crimes.

80th Anniversary Of End Of World War II: Concerns About Future Of International Affairs Under Donald Trump!

Eighty years ago, World War II finally came to an end, with the surrender of Japan, four months after the defeat of Nazi Germany.

The United States became the leading nation in the world, and was relied upon by democracies in Europe and Asia in the Cold War Years from 1945-1991, and the post Cold War Years since 1991.

But now, under Donald Trump, much of the world’s nations are not trusting the United States anymore, and Trump is alienating our allies in NATO as well as Asian nations.

At a summit in China, with Russia and India also present, those three nations made it clear that they were not going to let the United States under Donald Trump dictate to them, or control them through tariff wars and Trump rhetoric about American superiority.

Trump has alienated the largest populated nation in the world, India, over his 50 percent tariffs, and India is cozying up to its former rival, China, which is making clear its desire to control the world’s future as the dominant nation.

Meanwhile, Russia continues its war against Ukraine, and the summit of Trump and Vladimir Putin has led to no breakthrough on ending the war.

And Israel, determined to take over the Gaza Strip and allow the US to make it the Middle East “Riviera”, is committing genocide against the civilian population, and creating a long term continued nightmare for America in the Middle East.

So even though the 80th year anniversary of the end of the worst, most devastating war in human history, is being celebrated, the seeds of a truly horrifying World War III by an emboldented, authoritarian tyrant named Donald Trump, is provoking the majority of the world’s population against American dominance.

Trump also is now threatening Venezuela; and pursuing Greenland control being taken away from Denmark; and the issue of the Panama Canal is another worrisome matter.

The international situation at present is highly combustible, and America is clearly in rapid decline in prestige and influence at this anniversary.

A new close alliance of China, Russia, and India is a nightmare scenario, far more than even Nazi Germany and Japan during World War II.

September: A Month Of Reckoning For Donald Trump!

As the nation enters the month of September, President Donald Trump faces a month of reckoning.

Trump seems determined to intervene militarily with the National Guard in Chicago, and the Mayor, Brandon Johnson, and the Illinois Governor, JD Pritzker, are determined to prevent what has happened in Washington DC to occur in their city and state or any other state.

Trump’s tariffs have been challenged in court, and the issue of Presidential power to impose tariffs, which have alienated our allies and our rivals around the world, is moving toward the US Supreme Court.

The Democrats, although not in power in either house of Congress, are on the road to prevention of agreeing to a budget, which is due by the end of September, so we could have a major confrontation with Trump regarding his abuses of power, including his insistence on refusing to spend budget money that Congress has passed for foreign aid and other programs.

And finally, the Epstein Scandal is coming to central casting, wanting to know the truth about Trump’s involvement, but likely not being able to gain the facts about that scandal!

Republican Vice Presidents Since 1969—Vance The Worst Of The Worst Since Spiro Agnew! :(

In the past 56 years, we have had six Republican Presidents—Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H W Bush, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump.

In that same period, we have had eight Republican Vice Presidents—Spiro Agnew, Gerald Ford, Nelson Rockefeller, George H W Bush, Dan Quayle, Dick Cheney, Mike Pence, and JD Vance.

It is well recognized that three of these six Republican Presidents are rated higher than the other three—meaning Ronald Reagan, George H W Bush, and Gerald Ford.

George W. Bush, Richard Nixon, and Donald Trump are in the bottom third, with Trump nearly at the total bottom.

When one looks at the eight Republican Vice Presidents, only Gerald Ford, Nelson Rockefeller, and George H W Bush are seen as above average.

Ranking the remaining five is ranking as much lower and far worse in performance, with Spiro Agnew seen as the bottom, but with Dan Quayle and Dick Cheney seen as not much better, and with Mike Pence just slightly above them.

And then, there is the present Vice President, JD Vance, who in seven months has managed to cause outrage by his utterances and his actions, making one fear the thought that he might be the successor to Donald Trump.

At age 41, if Vance became President by succession before the summer of 2027, he would be the youngest President in American history, as Theodore Roosevelt was 42 years and 10 and a half months of age when he succeeded the assassinated William McKinley in September 1901.

Compared to his predecessor, Mike Pence, Vance has managed to be much more controversial, and makes one at least admire Pence for having strong convictions, including refusing to accept Donald Trump’s assertion that he should support a rejection of the Electoral College results in the Presidential Election of 2020.

This led to the threatened hanging of Mike Pence by the January 6, 2021 US Capitol Insurrectionists, who had set up a noose outside the building.

One cannot be sure that Vance would be any improvement on Donald Trump, as he is clearly totally unprincipled and insensitive in his statements and actions, and therefore, cannot be trusted as a potential future Commander in Chief.

Vance should be promoting the preservation of American democracy, but seems more interested in supporting the authoritarianism of Donald Trump, which presents a dire threat to the Bill of Rights and the Constitution.

By comparison, the Democratic Party has had four Vice Presidents since 1969—Walter Mondale under Jimmy Carter; Al Gore under Bill Clinton; Joe Biden under Barack Obama; and Kamala Harris under Joe Biden.

While the view of Harris is too recent to be reliable, any estimation of the significance of Mondale, Gore, and Biden makes it clear that they are the top three Vice Presidents of modern times, and arguably, of all time!

Democratic Governors Rich Mine For Presidency!

It turns out that in the midst of the Trump Authoritarian Crisis the nation faces, that it is much more Democratic Governors than Democratic members of Congress who are actively on the attack against the abuses perpetrated by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), and the utilization of the National Guard in Washington DC, Los Angeles, and threatened expansion to Chicago and other “Blue” cities and states.

In so doing, the following group of Governors are raising attention as leading potential Democratic Presidential contenders for 2028, including

Gavin Newsom of California
JD Pritzker of Illinois
Wes Moore of Maryland
Andy Beshear of Kentucky
Tim Walz of Minnesota
Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan
Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania

In addition, other Democratic Governors, although not seen as likely Presidential contenders, are actively challenging the Trump policies including:

Preposterous Idea: Nobel Peace Prize For Trump, Or Addition To Mount Rushmore!

Donald Trump, and those who support him without any qualms, are promoting preposterous ideas, that indicate total delusion.

The idea of a Nobel Peace Prize for Trump is hilarious, as he has no credentials to win such an award, and it seems clear that the Nobel Committee will not consider giving an authoritarian who is Fascist and mentally deranged, such an award.

The fact that Trump is also a convicted felon, and was impeached twice, and has had multiple bankruptcies, and have lied so often that he has no idea of truth, only adds to the craziness of the concept of a Nobel Peace Prize.

Also, the idea of Trump being added to Mount Rushmore National Monument in South Dakota, is immediately a joke.

Of course, then South Dakota Governor, and current Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, was the loon who came up with that idea, which led to her gaining a position in the Trump Administration as close to the worst single appointment of a long list of many. Noem is a danger in her position, and an embarrassment to the idea of women in government!

For one thing, no one can be added to that monument, without creating damage to the tenuous condition of that site.

But also, if there were to be the equivalent of a second Mount Rushmore being created somewhere else on American soil, Trump would not be on the list to be considered.

Instead, the likelihood would be a combination of Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry Truman or Lyndon B. Johnson, Ronald Reagan, and Barack Obama!

Reagan would be the Republican to add, not Trump!

This is silly season, overall, with the craziness of the Nobel Peace Prize and Mount Rushmore being bandied about as proper awards for Trump, and it will never happen!

Trump’s Three Hour Rant At Cabinet Meeting, Including Talk Of Being A Dictator, An Alarm Bell Ringing!

The latest Trump Cabinet meeting, lasting more than three hours, is an elaboration of earlier meetings where the Cabinet members engage in mind boggling praise of the President.

Groveling and flattery have become predominant in a way never occurring before with any other President.

Watching and listening to the effusive praise, which reminds one of the equivalent such behavior toward Kim Jong Un of North Korea, Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, and other authoritarian figures past and present, is enough to make one wish to vomit.

And Trump ranting for over three hours, clearly mentally unhinged, and talking about some thinking he should be a dictator, is extremely alarming.

It is clear that his mental state is, without a doubt, in deterioration before our eyes, and yet no one speaks up, and even the news media, while noticing, do not go after Trump, as many did toward Joe Biden, who was never in such a disastrous mental state as Trump clearly is.

PBS Being Eliminated By Trump, Replaced By “Prager University”, Which Is Despicable Alternative!

PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, existent since 1969, is disappearing as a publicly supported entity, due to Donald Trump’s cutting of nearly a billion dollars of public funding for that agency which has been so positive and constructive over 56 years.

PBS will survive due to public support, but many rural stations will be unable to sustain themselves sadly.

Right wing influence is attempting to have a so called “university” which is not such, “Prager University”, propagandize and distort education in schools in many states, with ten states adopting their curriculums to promote their agenda, far from what PBS did.

Its videos, designed solely to promote propaganda and make profits, distort the truth of slavery; deny the reality of climate change and global warming; advocate racism, nativism, misogyny, and homophobia, rather than promote tolerance and acceptance. It also distorts the reality of fascism and advocates creationism, rather than the truth of science.

Its creator, Dennis Prager, undermines the traditional Jewish open mindedness of his faith, in a selfish desire to gain excessive wealth in league with evangelical religious extremists, proving the profit motive more important than basic ethics, morality, compassion, decency, and empathy.

It is important to realize that “Prager University” is NOT a university and does not confer degrees, and is not accredited by any recognized educational body.

Among those involved in video presentation are Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, Ben Shapiro, and Michelle Malkin, which says a lot in itself.

The website promotes against the minimum wage and gun control, and for unbridled, unregulated capitalism.

The states of Florida, Oklahoma, New Hampshire, Montana, Arizona, and Louisiana were the first states to allow “Prager University” to be an official vendor of so called educational material.

And now, Oklahoma has adopted an “ideology test” in league with “Prager University” to screen and withhold teaching certificates in the state from educators applying from “Blue” states to teach in the state, since they are considered “woke”, as if that is a sin.

It should be pointed out that it is hard to imagine any educator outside of Oklahoma lusting to move there, with the narrowminded nature of the Oklahoma Superintendant of Public Instruction, Ryan Walters, and the fact of the very low pay nationally of teachers in that state.

Militarization Of Chicago And Baltimore Seems Next Trump Authoritarian Move!

President Donald Trump is issuing threats of imminent militarization of Chicago and Baltimore by Natoinal Guard troops, adding to the present occupation of Washington DC, and the earlier such action in Los Angeles.

Trump is using excuse of accusations of growing crime in cities that are actually witnessing declines in crime.

The one common denominator is that all of these cities have African American mayors and are “Blue” cities in “Blue” states. This is pure racism, and racial profiling.

Meanwhile, there are higher crime cities in many “Red” states, particularly in Southern states, but there is no inclination for military intervention in such locations.

Instead, it is precisely these “Red” states that are voluntarily sending National Guard troops to operate in Washington DC, such states as South Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and West Virginia, along with Ohio.

And the National Guard troops will be armed, creating a very dangerous, potentially confrontational, situation, that could lead to violence and tragedy in our nation’s capital.

We could face another Kent State University Massacre, which took place in Ohio during the Vietnam War Era in 1970!

New York City Mayoralty Race In Tumult!

New York City, the largest city in America, will elect its 111th Mayor in its history in November.

In a “wild and woolly” race, we have professed Democratic Socialist and Shiite Muslim Queens County State Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani, 33 years old, way ahead of former NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, present NYC Mayor Eric Adams, and Republican Guardian Angels Founder Curtis Sliwa.

While there is concern about Mamdani’s Socialist leanings and his Shiite Muslim religion, he is seen as winning no matter who stays in the race or drops out.

Sliwa certainly has ZERO chance of being elected Mayor, as there is no appetite to elect a Republican to the Mayoralty in the time of Donald Trump.

Sliwa is no Fiorello LaGuardia, John Lindsey, Rudy Giuliani, or Michael Bloomberg, all affiliated with the Republican Party in the past hundred years of Mayoral history.

Adams has become the only sitting Mayor to be indicted, and then, seemingly, given a pass by Donald Trump as long as he does not interfere with ICE Raids. The corruption in his administration of so many aides, along with his own personal corruption, is mind boggling.

At the same time, Andrew Cuomo has a corrupt background as well, forcing him to resign as NY Governor in 2021 on sexual harassment accusations.

So polls indicate despite concerns about Mamdani’s background and experience and his youth, he is extremely likely to win the election, despite police unions against him, the Jewish community uneasy, and the African American community being disinterested in him.

Mamdani has drawn support particularly from young voters, and Latino, Asian American, and white liberal voters, who see him as a refreshing change from corrupt leadership of Adams and Cuomo.

Mamdani has over 40 percent in the polls, and if any of his opponents drop out of the race, he rises to the mid to high 40s.

It is not a requirement for any candidate for Mayor or any public office in America to win a majority of the popular vote, as many Presidents have not done so, as well as Governors and Senators historically.

So it is likely that Mamdani will become the 111th Mayor!

And Mamdani will face the hostile President Trump, who has spoken of sending the National Guard into NYC, and even of deporting Mamdani, who was born in Uganda where he lived to age 5, then in South Africa until age 7, and then moved to New York City.

Both his parents are of Indian descent, with his mother being Hindu and his father being Muslim.
