Antisemitism On University Campuses, Elise Stefanik, And Donald Trump

The weak response of University Presidents toward antisemitism on their campuses (as at Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of Pennsylvania) is reprehensible, and it is essential that all universities and colleges take this expression of hatred seriously.

However, the fact that New York Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, who went from being a moderate to being a full scale MAGA Republican in support of Donald Trump, gained attention for being the member of Congress to confront university Presidents, should not be dramatized, and she should not be praised and applauded for her hypocritical stunt!

Stefanik is all but willing to accept all of the criminal acts and statements of Donald Trump, and she has nothing to say about Trump consorting with antisemites on a regular basis!

One must not forget that Trump hosted Kanye West and Nick Fuentes, well known and notorious antisemites, at Mar a Lago, and has himself embraced many other rightwing hatemongers of all stripes.

Stefanik refused to accept the Electoral College results in 2020, and is only too willing to accept any lies and deception of Donald Trump, so consider her “a wolf in sheep’s clothing”, not to be trusted or applauded!

Alarming Antisemitism Emerges On Many College And University Campuses

The rise of antisemitism on so many college and university campuses, as well as in American society in general, is alarming.

One can believe that the lives of Palestinians matter, as much as Israelis, but the war between Israel and Hamas is causing a tremendous overreaction by some students and faculty members, and is causing danger and questions of personal safety and security for many American Jews.

The issue of antisemitism has always been a problem with white supremacist groups, but now it is rearing its ugly head in other communities. A small educated group of intellectuals and students have no concern about the reality of Jews in world history, and seem unaware or unconcerned about the Nazi Holocaust that slaughtered six million Jews under Adolf Hitler in World War II.

To deny Israel has a right to exist is as horrible as to say that Palestinians have no similar rights to peace, tranquility, and acceptance!

The Biden Administration is working on coming up with support for the Jewish community, both on college campuses, and in society in general.

From Danger Of Cuban Missile Crisis 1962 To Israel-Hamas War Crisis In 2023!

Six decades ago, America and the world faced the news of the greatest crisis since World War II–the Cuban Missile Crisis under the Presidency of John F. Kennedy.

Now, the world faces the greatest crisis in the history of the Jewish people and the nation of Israel, the Hamas massacre of 1,400 Israelis and foreigners on October 7, the greatest loss of Jewish lives since the Holocaust 80 years ago!

It is also the equivalent of 14 September 11’s, as if more than 40,000 Americans had been killed!

The leadership of President Kennedy was a great strength then, and now the leadership of President Biden has been a great boost to the Israeli government, as it plans for an ultimate war that could become, potentially, a regional and world conflict. It could be as dangerous if not more so, than the Cuban Missile Crisis was 61 years ago!

There is also a growing threat to Jews around the world, including the United States, with all Jewish institutions on an alert for antisemitic statements and threats!

Widespread Antisemitism And Islamophobia Deeply Alarming!

The attack of Hamas on Israel on October 7 has unleashed widespread antisemitism and Islamophoba worldwide, including in America, and even more troubling, on college and university campuses.

Anyone in America who is Jewish or Muslim has to be on heightened alert, as threats and attacks on people of those beliefs are occurring.

Unfortunately, some politicians of both parties are promoting hatred, and synagogues, mosques, and other religious institutions of both faiths are requiring increased security protections.

Social Media are adding to the threat, as there is promotion of hate and fear, inciting unstable people and pure bigots who are striking out against both groups!

Israel-Hamas Crisis The Most Significant News Event Of 2023!

The shocking invasion by Hamas of Israel by air, land, and sea on October 7 will go down in history as the most significant news event of 2023!

The danger to world peace is massive, as it is becoming clear that Iran’s extremist government is behind the planning and operation of this terrorist action.

There will be a massive ground operation into Gaza City in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli Defense Forces that will make civilians living in that location feel they are in a living hell, where many will lose their lives.

Already, there are reports of at least 700 Israelis killed, 400-500 Palestinians killed, and thousands of wounded on both sides, as well as an estimate of at least one hundred Israelis kidnapped and held hostage in the Gaza Strip.

The United States and the civilized world have condemned this horrendous set of circumstances, but antisemites across the globe are hailing the surprise invasion, catching the Israeli Defense forces off guard, and demonstrating that the Iron Dome defense system has flaws that allowed for blunders in intelligence gathering.

This is a exisential crisis for the survival of Israel, a nation which just celebrated its 75th anniversary, and with the prospect of a long, drawn out war without any certainty of its long range outcome.

It is known that some Americans and other foreign nationals were killed, wounded, or captured by Hamas, and the question of how to secure the release of all hostages is a nightmarish situation.

There is no doubt that this international crisis will have an effect on American politics in the coming year, with only 13 months until the Presidential Election Of 2024.

It also brings to mind the danger of Donald Trump, who has been loose and easy in sharing intelligence information since leaving office, and is reckless in a way that undermines American national security short term and long term.

As things now stand, it seems clear that the best alternative for the Republican Party is Nikki Haley, with her prior experience as United Nations Ambassador, and her comparatively moderate rhetoric.

But to believe that the MAGA Republican cancer will be able to be overwhelmed is an issue one has to have major doubts can occur!

So the strong leadership of Joe Biden is to be supported in all ways possible in a crisis that can be perceived as one of the greatest in recent history!

The Sick, Insane, Warped Republican Voters And Donald Trump!

The latest Wall Street Journal poll on the upcoming Presidential Election Of 2024 shows Donald Trump ahead of all his Republican opponents for the nomination, winning 59 percent of the vote, 46 points ahead of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and further ahead against the rest of the field!

And 78 percent of the Republican party members in the poll believe Donald Trump did nothing wrong, despite having four indictments and 91 counts levied on Trump, and with trials coming up, where he is likely to have at least some counts leading to convictions.

With this information, one must conclude that a vast majority of Republican supporters and voters are sick, insane, warped individuals, who do not care for the Constitution, rule of law,and common decency and compassion for fellow Americans!

The Republican Party base has become a Fascist group, supporting authoritarianism, and clearly racist, misogynist, nativist, homophobic, and antisemitic, and also willing to consort with foreign totalitarian dictators in Russia, North Korea, and China!

And yet, there are also people who are of minority background, who are only too supportive of a very dangerous man, who has lied his whole life, and is a disgrace of an excuse for a human being!

The nation is in great danger, therefore, as we move toward the 250th anniversary of nationhood in July 2026, less than three years from now!

The Danger To Education That Will Affect The Future Of Acceptance Of Differences In Society!

The American educational system at all levels is under attack by advocates for white supremacy, racism, nativism, antisemitism, misogyny, Islamophobia, and homophobia.

Instead of exposing all students at all levels to the realities of American history and present day society realities, many want to shield young people of all ages from learning the truth about our past.

The need to expose these realities as a method to promote acceptance of differences and advance the future of American society is at stake!

It is urgent for all young people to become accepting of racial, ethnic, and religious diversity, and to understand the need to show respect for women as equal with men, and to accept different sexual orientions as essential to advance tolerance!

Domestic Terrorism Leading Threat In America: Joe Biden

President Joe Biden has made clear in a recent speech that domestic terrorism is the leading threat in America, even more so than foreign nations who are our adversaries!

Extreme right wing White Supremacist groups, which also espouse antisemitism, misogyny, Islamophobia, homophobia and nativism, are inciting gun violence.

They are promoted by reprehensible media sources on radio and cable, who constantly espouse “Great Replacement Theory”, with the leading villain being Tucker Carlson most notably, but also a whole group of others, and now including billionaire Elon Musk, who shouts against “censorship” but spreads ugly hatred on Twitter!

And the MAGA Republicans who back Donald Trump are also inciting domestic terrorism, making their defeat in future elections an urgent matter!

Growing Nativism, Antisemitism, Misogyny, White Supremacy On Social Media: A Threat To American Society!

Social Media has become a threat to American democracy, as it has permitted all kinds of hatreds to be spewed regularly without any thought of the effect on the American people.

There is growing nativism, antisemitism, misogyny and white supremacy that has promoted many of the gun massacres that have been occurring nearly daily recently, including the tragic Allen, Texas Massacre of a week ago, but also so many other such horrendous incidents.

The mental health of millions of Americans is becoming a national crisis, and particularly among women, racial and ethnic minorities, and younger people in general.

Freedom of expression is a cardinal principle of our Constitution, but there needs to be some development of a monitoring system in which social media companies, who are making money on hate, are held accountable!

Donald Trump, Now A Convicted Sexual Abuser In Civil Case, Has Disastrous Town Hall In New Hampshire!

Donald Trump is now a convicted sexual abuser in the E. Jeanne Carroll civil case, and one would think that any intelligent human being would repudiate him, as would anyone really want a person with that kind of behavior to be President once again?

And after last night’s horrendous performance of Donald Trump at the CNN sponsored Town Hall in New Hampshire, one has to wonder about the audience laughing and applauding a person who was responsible for the January 6 US Capitol Insurrection and so many more criminal actions in the four years of his Presidency.

It now seems clear that we have an authoritarian Fascist percentage of the American population which lives in delusion and is easily manipulated.

We have too many people who are misogynists, racist, white supremacist, antisemitic, nativist, and Islamophobic, as well as anti gay, in the name of white extremist Christianity, distorting the teachings of Jesus Christ!

Those who support Donald Trump, after all that has occurred, clearly have no issue in destroying the Constitution and the rule of law, and would be willing to commit any criminal act in loyalty to Donald Trump and his ilk, just like many in Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and many contemporary governments in the world today!
