Donald Trump’s New York Times interview demonstrated to us signs of mental illness and possible dementia of our President.

It was truly bizarre behavior, including rambling, inconsistency, forgetfulness, and raging behavior against his Attorney General Jeff Sessions; Special Counsel Robert Mueller; Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein; and his expectation that the new FBI head Christopher Wray would be “loyal”, the reason why he fired former FBI head James Comey.

And now we learn that Trump is looking into pardons of his aides, his family, and even himself, not realizing that a pardon is an admission of guilt, and even Richard Nixon would not go that far, and refused to try to pardon himself, or his aides, as inappropriate behavior for a President.

Donald Trump is in a panic that Robert Mueller is investigating his financial dealings with Russia, and looking at his tax returns, which he has refused to allow, but can be accessed during an investigation of malfeasance.

The White House staff is stunned at his attacks on Sessions in particular, as no one was more loyal to Trump, but yet Sessions and Rosenstein have agreed to stay on, in itself a shocking and stunning decision, as Trump has no loyalty to anyone, and is only too willing to rant and rave, and throw them “under the bus”.

The world of Donald Trump is one of self aggrandizement, selfishness, greed, materialism, lack of concern for others, and projection, blaming others for his own faults.

The man is seriously mentally ill, and every day he stays in the Oval Office, the nation is endangered, and we have to face the facts that eventually a major foreign policy crisis will arise, and we will have a crippled President to deal with it, so this is an alarm bell that something must be done to resolve this constitutional crisis, and soon, before the country suffers a grievous disaster that affects all of us!

Trump Goes Ballistic, Condemns Jeff Sessions, And Implies Threat Against Robert Mueller: A President Gone Nuts!

Donald Trump is certifiably nuts, as evidenced by his NY Times audio interview, in which he attacked his own Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and implied a threat to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller, along with attacking the Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and implying that the new FBI nominee, Christopher Wray, would be loyal to him. Trump seems not to understand that the FBI is NOT supposed to profess loyalty to any President, but to the rule of law!

This came after the luncheon with Republican Senators, in which Trump, with Nevada Senator Dean Heller sitting next to him, threatened him if he did not support the horrendous Health Care legislation that cannot get 50 Republican Senate supporters. Trump also attacked one Republican, Rand Paul of Kentucky, who had not attended the luncheon, and has come out against “TrumpCare”.

Heller just laughed, which was appropriate, and probably enraged Trump, and may have led to his tirade NY Times interview later in the day.

President Trump is coming apart at the seams, and he is more dangerous every day with his access to the nuclear codes, and his “Bromance” with Vladimir Putin, and his alienation of our NATO allies.

This is no longer tolerable, and there must be mobilization of masses of people in every state and in the nation’s capital, demanding his resignation.

The people must rise and demand action, and force the Republican Congress to put them ahead of their own agenda, or else suffer a massive defeat in 2018, which may happen in any case.

It is time for Republicans to stop party loyalty to a President who is very willing to “throw them under the bus”, and has no loyalty to anyone except his own family. It is time for them to move toward impeachment, which is a political act, not a legal act, and can be done as long as a majority of the House of Representatives wants it, and if 19 Republican Senators are willing to remove Trump, based on abuse of power, obstruction of justice, collusion with Russia which borders on treason, and violation of the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution.

We are in danger of a complete dissolution of civil order, as our civil liberties and national security are at stake with this madman in the White House!

Today is the six month mark of the Trump Presidency, and it has been a literal nightmare, and action must be taken to resolve this nightmare!

Russians Invaded American Electoral Process In 2016, And Are Ready To Do It Again In 2018 And 2020 With Trump Support!

The most alarming aspect of Donald Trump unwilling to admit that the Russians invaded the American electoral process in 2016, is that the Russians are ready and able to do it again in 2018 and 2020, with Trump being the beneficiary of such intervention, if action is not taken rapidly to prevent such a disaster from occurring again.

The fact that, supposedly, Trump brought up the issue in his private meeting today with Vladimir Putin at the G-20 Summit, which was immediately dismissed by Putin, and was followed by both sides agreeing to “move on”, is not an adequate end to the controversy, and the investigation of the issue must continue.

With all of the efforts to fight and resist Trump, it could be that we are doomed to have Trump continue to dominate, with the help of a foreign power, that our intelligence agencies may not be able to combat.

This is totally outrageous and unacceptable, and all efforts by those forces that wish to preserve the election process as totally legitimate, have quite a challenge, as the midterm Congressional elections are only 16 months from now, and the Presidential campaign will start in the middle of 2018, when it is likely that the first potential nominees will start to announce their candidacies, hoping to gain some advantage over those who wait till after the midterms, if they have an election to deal with first, before they announce.

The Congressional investigations, and the Special Counsel investigation of Robert Mueller must move forward with haste, while at the same time, all possible preventive measures are taken to keep the next two election rounds, and those that follow, totally honest and legitimate.

The Media Created Donald Trump, And The Media Will Destroy Him, With The Truth About His Corruption And Malfeasance!

The news media created Donald Trump, giving him lavish coverage and publicity, and enabling him to gain public support with his over the top proposals, which any sane person could have realized was political hype at its worst.

Donald Trump has become the worst con man in American political history, but it is the news media that will bring him down, ultimately, through their thorough, hard hitting exposing of his corruption, and his collusion with the Russians, with more evidence every day of his transgressions.

Plaudits are due to the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CBS, CNN, and many other media sites and journalists, who are doing the detective work that will help the Special Counsel Robert Mueller collect the dots that will force Trump out of office sometime next year.

Trump is running scared, acting guilty, and his continued assaults on the news media are a threat to American democracy, but he will not win out in the end, one can be assured. He has degraded the Presidency, and it will take time and healing to recover the prestige and dignity of the office after he is forced out.

Just as Richard Nixon had his “Waterloo”, so will Donald Trump, as long as people understand it will take time and patience, but that it will happen, whether the Republican Congress wants it or not, as the American people will demand transparency and action as the evidence grows toward the inevitable step to remove Trump. One author, Frank Rich, in New York Magazine, has said we are in July 1973 in the Nixon crisis, and that in about another year, as with Nixon, Trump will be forced out.

We survived earlier constitutional crises in the Civil War era, and the Watergate era, and we will survive once again, with media having a large share of the credit, utilizing the term–“The truth shall set you free!”

And for those who fear Vice President Mike Pence becoming President, there is no question that he would be the most extreme right wing President in history, but the removal of Trump will help to temper him in his actions and statements, particularly once a Democratic House of Representatives becomes his “watchdog”. And even if we have a continued Republican Senate, which is highly likely, not much will be accomplished, with the reality that the House of Representatives controls all money bills.

As much as Pence is a problem, he is not mentally unhinged and unstable as Donald Trump has proved to be, and the way he comes to power will make it more difficult for him to accomplish many of his goals, as long as the Democrats gain the 24 or more seats needed to win control of the House, and that must be the goal in the next 16 months until the midterms in November 2018.

Trump Tweet On Comey Meeting Taping: Now Trump Admits He Lied, But Tweet Led to Robert Mueller As Special Counsel To Investigate Obstruction Of Justice And Russian Ties

Donald Trump lied about having a taping system recording his meeting with James Comey, before he fired the former FBI head.

It took 41 days for Trump to admit yet another lie, but this time, it led to Robert Mueller being appointed Special Counsel to investigate charges of Obstruction Of Justice, and Russian Ties.

So, effectively, Donald Trump put himself into a legal quandary that likely will force him out office at some point in the next year.

And if he tries to fire Rod Rosenstein, the Deputy Attorney General who appointed Robert Mueller, or decides to fire Mueller directly, Donald Trump is a prime candidate for impeachment investigation!

So it could be that Trump has been “hoist by his own petard”, unwittingly undermining himself and effectively shooting himself in the foot, as the saying goes!

The Growing Evidence Of Mental Deterioration, Instability, And Pure Madness Of Donald Trump!

Many supporters of Donald Trump are living in denial, in a state of refusing to accept reality.

The man has been mentally deteriorating with the pressures of the Presidency over the past five months, and now there are reports that he plans to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who is leading an investigation of the Trump scandals on Russia, on the firing of FBI head James Comey, and on Trump’s breaking of the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution.

His instability and erratic behavior is alarming, as he could start a nuclear war in a fit of anger.

He is capable of declaring martial law, if and when a September 11 type attack occurs, or even one far less significant and damaging than that event was.

He is even capable of staging such an attack, copying the strategy of Adolf Hitler, who staged the Reichstag Fire within months after his accession to power in 1933, using it as a pretext to destroy the German Constitution and traditions, and establish his dictatorship.

In many ways, Trump shows signs of madness, and many psychiatrists and psychologists have warned us of the dangers he presents to America and the world.

Many critics would say how can any medical doctor or psychiatrist come to such conclusions without “examining the patient”?

They forget that his staff and others he interacts with see him every day, and have expressed alarm anonymously, at the state of chaos and anxiety in the Oval Office, as Trump thinks things are running smoothly and everything is being accomplished splendidly, and as he rants and raves on Twitter at all hours of the night.

There is enough evidence of how dangerous Donald Trump is, and it is not as if he is just your “crazy uncle” or the next door neighbor.

He is the President of the United States, with the ability to start a world war and destroy our Constitution and Bill of Rights, and it is high time that political leaders of the majority Republican Party come to grips with reality, and do what they should be doing—moving to force Donald Trump out of office as necessary for the nation’s welfare.

In other words, put nation ahead of loyalty to a man, as the American Presidency and American government are more than any person’s advancement or glorification.

We do not wish to see the destruction of the international order, or the dissolution of all of the wonderful programs domestically put into law under administrations of both Democratic and Republican Presidents!
