Vivek Ramaswamy

The Republican Party has stooped to a new low in many of their candidates for public office, and the worst of the worst is Ohio Gubernatorial nominee Vivek Ramasway competing with Democratic nominee Dr. Amy Acton.

Ramaswamy has an horrendous record of how he deals with others, and has demonstrated arrogant lack of character, decency, morals, ethics, and compassion.

Quite the opposite in character and behavior is Acton, who is very inspiring as a public servant who cares about Ohio state residents, and wanting to make life better and promote tolerance.

Ramaswamy demonstrated how cocky and arrogant he was, becoming wealthy as an entrepreneur in the biotechnology field of business, engaging in corporate malpractice that hurt many investors.

Without any sense of humility or compassion, he became engaged in shady activities, and is worth at least $2-3 billion as a result.

Ramaswamy, as a Republican Presidential contender in 2024, promoted the Evangelical Christian Right and White Christian Nationalism, although he grew up as a Hindu with family from India.

Ramaswamy also has condemned Covid 19 Vaccines, denies climate change, and is extremely anti Trans, vehemently against gay people, and those who advocate feminism.

His beliefs on executive power mirror those of Donald Trump, wanting to declare war on civil service protections, take away labor rights, and abolish at least five federal agencies.

He also advocated raising the voting age to 25, violating the 26th Amendment; and is against birthright citizenship, even though he is a beneficiary of such.

He has also advocated a Pro Russian view on the Ukraine intervention, and says he would not defend Taiwan against an invasion by China

He has also promoted conspiracy theories on September 11 and January 6, and then denied he said such, despite documented proof otherwise.

But now, Ramaswamy has reached a new low, that has been roundly condemned by many Republicans and Democrats, by posting a political ad, with the estranged mother of Dr Amy Acton, who denied that her second husband, who became the stepfather of Amy and her brother, had sexually abused Amy, and raped her at age 12 in 1978.

Her mother backed her husband, and a breach occurred, with no contact since then by the mother with her two children.

Amy Acton’s mother even fled the state with her second husband, and he was able to avoid prosecution, when it should have been pursued, as he was indicted by a grand jury. The couple remained married until his death.

This is an outrageous way to attack an opponent on sexual violence, confirmed by Acton’s brother, and Ohio will have a horrendous, corrupt Governor if they elect Ramaswamy in November.

Dr. Amy Acton, a physician, overcame her difficult childhood, and became Ohio Health Director under Ohio Governor Mike DeWine in 2019-2020 on the Covid 19 response to promote vaccines, and was widely praised as Ohio’s Dr. Anthony Fauci.

But lunatic Republicans and anti vaccine conspiracists forced her out of her position, although she was on the right side of history. To honor her courageous work against Covid 19, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum gave her the Profiles in Courage Award in 2021.

She engaged in teaching medicine and public health at Ohio State University earlier, and worked in non profit sector work before deciding to run for the Ohio Governorship.

Acton, who is Jewish, stands out as a great, courageous public servant, who does not deserve the outrage of Ramaswamy exploiting her horrible childhood, and claiming she is lying.

So hopefully, decent people in Ohio on Election Day will vote Acton in as their governor, and repudiate the horrendous Vivek Ramaswamy.
