Significant Impact Of Immigration Crackdown On American Economy

In the midst of the harsh immigration crackdown going on under President Donald Trump and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, many are not aware or care to realize the dramatic impact of what is occurring on the American economy.

More than 1.2 million immigrants disappeared from the labor force between January and July 2025.

Immigrants are 20 percent of the American labor force, whether legal or undocumented.

45 percent of workers in agriculture, fishing, and forestry are immigrants.

30 percent of construction workers and 24 percent of service workers are immigrants.

43 percent of home health care aides are immigrants.

Besides the human suffering being caused by ICE raids and deportations, many industries and many millions of Americans are being harmed by the narrow minded policy of working to deport all immigrants that can be found, not just those who have committed serious crimes.

Preposterous Idea: Nobel Peace Prize For Trump, Or Addition To Mount Rushmore!

Donald Trump, and those who support him without any qualms, are promoting preposterous ideas, that indicate total delusion.

The idea of a Nobel Peace Prize for Trump is hilarious, as he has no credentials to win such an award, and it seems clear that the Nobel Committee will not consider giving an authoritarian who is Fascist and mentally deranged, such an award.

The fact that Trump is also a convicted felon, and was impeached twice, and has had multiple bankruptcies, and have lied so often that he has no idea of truth, only adds to the craziness of the concept of a Nobel Peace Prize.

Also, the idea of Trump being added to Mount Rushmore National Monument in South Dakota, is immediately a joke.

Of course, then South Dakota Governor, and current Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, was the loon who came up with that idea, which led to her gaining a position in the Trump Administration as close to the worst single appointment of a long list of many. Noem is a danger in her position, and an embarrassment to the idea of women in government!

For one thing, no one can be added to that monument, without creating damage to the tenuous condition of that site.

But also, if there were to be the equivalent of a second Mount Rushmore being created somewhere else on American soil, Trump would not be on the list to be considered.

Instead, the likelihood would be a combination of Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry Truman or Lyndon B. Johnson, Ronald Reagan, and Barack Obama!

Reagan would be the Republican to add, not Trump!

This is silly season, overall, with the craziness of the Nobel Peace Prize and Mount Rushmore being bandied about as proper awards for Trump, and it will never happen!

Immigration And Customs Enforcement (ICE) Has Become A Pure Dictatorship, Planning Massive Incarceration With No Legal Recourse For Immigrant Victims!

It is totally shocking that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has, by actions of the Trump Administration, become a pure dictatorship, with the aim of massive incarceration of millions of immigrants with no legal recourse to utilize against such action, as the aim is to deport millions over the next few years. This has been revealed in an exclusive exposure by the Washington Post yesterday.

The plans of Kristi Noem, Thomas Homan, Stephen Miller and others in the Trump Administration are moving toward an evil likely even worse than the internment of Japanese Americans in World War II.

This is totally against the Bill of Rights, and is pure Fascism, with the horrid conditions at the new “Alligator Alcatraz” a sign of the mistreatment awaiting the immigrant victims while they wait for deportation, often to nations that speak a different language, and to which they have no personal or family ties.

Breaking up of families and mistreatment that includes lack of sanitation, health care, and malnutrition, all conditions that make for what could be called “internment” camps, but some would say “concentration” camps, is the future, unless somehow, this monstrosity can be deterred.

But legally, it seems at this point like a losing cause, as America descends into a right wing, fanatical dictatorship, even threatening critics who are not immigrants, for their outspokenness in criticism!

ICE Agents Abusing The Constitution, Acting Totally Lawless And Like The Nazi Gestapo Of Adolf Hitler!

ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), under Thomas Homan, Stephen Miller, and Kristi Noem, is acting in a totalitarian way, abusing the Constitution, and acting totally lawless, in their mass arrests and abuses against undocumented immigrants, most of whom are NOT criminals!

Mass raids and the use of the National Guard and US Marines in Los Angeles; the raiding of schools, hospitals, court houses, work places, private homes, and so many other locations; are destroying the lives of people who have no criminal record, and in some cases, are in fact, citizens of the United States, or people with green cards that allow them to remain in America.

There is no sense of ethics, morals, empathy, compassion, or decency among ICE agents and their evil leadership, so as a result, there have been examples of resistance by citizens who are then roughly dealt with, as if we live in a nation, similar to Nazi Germany’s Gestapo.

And the so called “Alligator Alcatraz” in the Everglades in South Florida is a total violation of basic human rights, with inadequate sanitary and other living facilities, very much like a concentration camp, and illegally constructed by the evil and arrogant Florida Governor Ron DeSantis!

Trump Cabinet Officers Center Of Controversy And Incompetency!

The Donald Trump Cabinet is rapidly imploding.

Attorney General Pam Bondi is under attack from the MAGA crowd and Deputy FBI Head Don Bongino for allegedly covering up the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, with the indication that Donald Trump and many other prominent figures were involved in a pedophilia scandal.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth took it upon himself to pause arms to Ukraine in its war against Russia, without Trump being informed of such action.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is undermining Americans’ health care in so many ways, including the fact that we have a massive Measles outbreak in several Western states, the largest in three decades, and Kennedy’s incessant war on vaccines.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has been shown to have provided delayed support for the victims of the tragic Texas floods last week, and for still advocating the end of FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency).

Also, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency under Noem and Thomas Homan, and the intervention of Stephen Miller, is violating the Constitution in its mad rush to deport immigrants, which in most cases, have committed no crimes.

And Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins claims that people who are disabled, elderly, and children, who will be harmed by Medicaid cuts, can fill the jobs of migrant farm workers, to replace such deported individuals.

And Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick is backing Donald Trump’s crazy tariff wars against American trade partners, while he certainly knows from history, that high tariffs undermine the American economy, and helped to cause the Panic of 1893 and the Great Depression of the 1930s.

While America has experienced corrupt and disgraceful Cabinet officers under other Presidents in American history, NEVER have we had so many such incompetent and unqualified members of a President’s cabinet as under Donald Trump!

Early Prognosis Of Potential Republican Presidential Contenders In 2028

Already, just short of six months into the second term of Donald Trump, speculation is rampant as to potential Republican Presidential contenders in 2028.

From this author and blogger’s perspective, it is a literal “horror’s list” of potential Presidential nominees.

It includes:

Vice President JD Vance, assuming he does not succeed to the Presidency during this term

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is also, presently, National Security Advisor

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, primarily responsible for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which now will have more funds to promote arrest and deportation than many government militaries worldwide have.

US Senators Ted Cruz of Texas; Rand Paul of Kentucky; and Tim Scott of South Carolina, with the first two having contended against Donald Trump in 2016.

Governors Brian Kemp of Georgia; Glenn Youngkin of Virginia (both who will be out of their Governorships at the end of 2026 and 2025 respectively): and Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas, former Press Secretary to Trump in his first term.

There may be other contenders as well, but looking at this list, it is a horrible group, with this author and blogger’s personal opinion being that Noem, Cruz, and Huckabee Sanders are the worst of the worst.

But Vance, Paul, and Scott are not much “better”, and Kemp and Youngkin, while comparatively less controversial, are still far from adequate.

Out of this list, Marco Rubio is the “best”, but simply not being as horrendous as the others!

Hopefully, none of these or any other Republican contenders gain the White House in the Presidential Election of 2028!

Trump Utilizing National Guard In Los Angeles, Defying Governor And Mayor, Highly Unusual!

With immigration raids and arrests mounting all over the nation, but particularly in the major cities of Los Angeles and New York City, Donald Trump has taken the step of escalating his authoritarian impluses by deciding to utilize the National Guard in LA, against the wishes of Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass. It is extremely unusual and rare to take such an action against the recomendations of state and local officials.

This is clearly seen as a move toward total crackdown on basic civil liberties, perpetrated by Thomas Homan, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi, Pete Hegseth, and a host of other Trump appointees.

We have entered a “police state” situation, with great danger of massive violence and bloodshed, and it could spread quickly around the nation, and lead to the potential of civil war, a horrifying scenario!

There is no indication of massive violence, just of street protests, so this is a power grab by Trump and his government perpetrated to justify suspension of basic First Amendment rights.

It is not clear what can be done about the aggressive and abusive moves inititated by Donald Trump, so we are in a period of great mourning for our Constitution, rule of law, and American democracy!

Massive Suffering And Death Promoted By Evil Donald Trump, Who Has No Conscience!

Anyone, except the most uncaring individuals, can fail to see how Donald Trump is promoting massive suffering and death, and has total evil and cruelty as his mantra, and no sense of morality, ethics, compassion, empathy, or conscience.

But the House Republicans have shown willingness to go along with this horrendous bill that would cut millions of Americans off SNAP (Food Stamps) and Medicaid, and also threaten major cuts in Medicare.

Republicans have not spoken up on the wiping out of USAID (US Agency for International Development), which has saved millions of people overseas who have varying diseases and illnesses. This includes the elimination of PEPFAR (President’s Emergency Program For Aids Relief), President George W. Bush’s major contribution in office, which has saved 26 million lives in Africa.

But Republicans have not been willing to speak up on the mass deportation of immigrants, most of whom are not criminals, as Stephen Miller, Thomas Homan, and Kristi Noem continue their heartless, cruel, inhumane quest to remove people at the rate of 3,000 per day, without any ethical or moral qualms.

The damage and harm being visited by an oppressive, Gestapo type Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which has its agents wearing masks, as if this is Nazi Germany revived, is horrifying!

The shock that Elon Musk, as he leaves the government, has condemned the “Big and Beautiful” bill gives hope that the Senate will reject the legislation, but at this point, there is no way to step in and stop the executive abuse of power by Donald Trump and his authoritarian Fascist supporters against millions of immigrants, most who have broken no laws other than entering without authorization into America, but with the desire for a better life!

Grievance, Revenge, Retribution, Cruelty: Hallmarks Of Trump Presidency!

America has NEVER had a situation as we have in the present: a President whose life is based on grievance, revenge, retribution, and cruelty.

It is a literal nightmare the nation faces, as there is no compassion, empathy, decency, morals, ethics present, and not only in Donald Trump, but also in his Cabinet and other advisers and appointees.

Everything that is said and done is meanspirited, and without any conscience.

Never has the nation had it anywhere as tragic as this, not even with Richard Nixon, as members of his Cabinet turned againat him, and Republicans in Congress cooperated in investigations that led to his resignation.

But even Nixon would be shocked to see the level of open corruption and venality exhibited by Trump and his top cohorts.

Never did we have a group of women, such as Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi, Tulsi Gabbard, and even White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who exhibit no sense of propriety in their statements and actions.

Never had we had such evil, nasty aides such as Stephen Miller and Thomas Homan and Russell Vought who are so anti immigrant to an extreme hard to fathom.

Never had we had people who have such arrogance as displayed by Pete Hegseth, Howard Lutnick, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, and even Vice President JD Vance.

Donald Trump Has Declared War On Supreme Court And Other Federal Courts’ Authority!

The nation is reaching a crucial turning point, as Donald Trump has attacked the seven members of the Supreme Court, who have ruled that he cannot use the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to deport immigrants without habeus corpus and due process.

Trump is ranting on Truth Social about this, and he and his MAGA Republican supporters have also unleashed attacks against District Court Judges and Appeals Court Judges who have ruled against his policies regarding deportation.

Chief Justice John Roberts has also made clear how disturbed he is at the attacks on the rule of law and the Constitution, as has Associate Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson, Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and even Trump appointed Amy Coney Barrett.

The fact that all three Trump Supreme Court nominees, including Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, along with Barrett, have voted against him, and that some of the District and Appeals Court Judges who have done so, are Reagan, George H W Bush, George W Bush, and even some Trump appointees, is an indication of great alarm in the judicial branch about Trump’s grabbing of power and attacks on the validity and legitimacy of the courts!

It looks as if Trump and his Cabinet officers, particularly Attorney General Pam Bondi, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Thomas Homan, and White House Adviser Stephen Miller, are hell bent on breaking the law and the Constitution, and refusing to obey the federal courts.

This is, if not stopped, a full scale attack on civil liberties, the Bill of Rights, and endangers all Americans, that any excuse could be used, without evidence or investigation, leading to massive deportations to foreign dictatorships beyond just El Salvador, with no appeal or ability to reverse such totalitarian, Fascist actions!
