Iran War

Donald Trump, Promoter Of Military Force And Imperialism

Donald Trump ran for the Presidency as a person against the use of military force, and perceived as an isolationist.

Certainly, he has shown evidence of not caring about international aliances, including NATO but also Asian alliances.

He has shown doubts about backing Ukraine in its war with Russia.

There are strong doubts about his willingness to defend Taiwan against China, if war broke out.

But at the same time, as CNN has reported, he has managed to threaten 15 countries, and to bomb 7 of those nations, making him an aggressor against one of 13 countries, one of 11 people, 5 countries in the Middle East, 4 continents (North America, South America, Asia, Africa), and 5 targets for American imperialism (Canada, Cuba, Greenland, Panama for its Canal, and Venezeula).

Trump has already bombed the following nations: Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen, and his government has unleashed strikes on alleged drug trafficking boats in the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean, killing more than 200 people in about 60 incidents, without any proof of such activities.

Trump has also threatened attacks on seven nations in this term—Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Greenland, Mexico, Panama for its Canal, and Oman (Middle East nation).

Trump has utilized loose rhetoric, demonstrating how unstable and dangerous he is, and no one willing to step in, as in Trump’s first term, to tame his moments of temper and reckless emotionalism.

So Trump has made America an international aggressor, ready and willing to compete with Russia and China, and ignore international diplomacy and rational behavior.

Every day he remains in the White House, ranting and raving crazily on Truth Social, the nation and the world are in dire danger that Trump might utilize nuclear weapons, a horrifying nightmare!

The Women In Trump’s Cabinet Are Disappearing Rapidly!

Here we are, only one third through the second Donald Trump Presidency, and the women Cabinet members are disappearing rapidly.

First to go was Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, lasting 14 months.

Next was Attorney General Pam Bondi, also lasting 14 months.

Next was Lori Chavez-DeRemer, Secretary of Labor, who lasted 13 months, having been confirmed at a later date than Noem and Bondi.

Now, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, is leaving at the end of June, after about 16 and a half months, but with strong rumors that her internal opposition to the decision of Donald Trump to go to war with Iran, expedited the decision to leave, officially because her husband has a serious cancer diagnosis.

Women still in the Trump Cabinet are Brooke Rollins, Secretary of Agriculture, and Linda McMahon, Secretary of Education, with the latter heading an agency that she herself has said that the goal is to eliminate federal involvement in education.

The Internal Battle For The 2028 Republican Presidential Nomination

Once the Midterm Elections of 2026 are over, six months from now, the contest for the 2028 Presidential Election in both political parties will commence in earnest.

Clearly, there will be a multitude of Democratic Presidential nominees, but also, the Republican Party battle for who will succeed the most divisive President in American history will be very intense.

Vice President JD Vance, in theory, will be the front-runner for the Presidency, with, of course, the growing possibility that he might succeed Trump during the term, due to the rapid mental and physical deterioration that is clear to anyone who has any intelligence and perception.

If Vance ends up in the White House before the Republican National Convention in the summer of 2028, he would become the automatic nominee, as it would become impossible to stop him.

But if he is still Vice President, Vance will face fierce opposition for the succession from at least the following:

Secretary of State Marco Rubio
Texas Senator Ted Cruz
Outgoing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis
Kentucky Senator Rand Paul
Missouri Senator Josh Hawley

Supposedly, Rubio has declared he would not challenge Vance, but that is not a statement that can be taken at face value at this point.

Ted Cruz could end up on the Supreme Court if either Clarence Thomas or Samuel Alito retire, leaving a vacancy on the Court.

DeSantis might end up in the Trump Cabinet as a replacement for the Defense Department or some other Cabinet position, once he leaves the Florida Governorship in January.

Rand Paul seems highly likely, as a libertarian and a critic of much of what Trump represents, to announce for President, but he also would face Senate reelection in 2028, if he fails to do well in early primaries in 2028.

Hawley is more of a long shot, but also could decide to contest the nomination.

There could be other potential contenders, but at this point, the best bet would be on either Vance or Rubio.

Since Vance is known to have opposed the Iran War, this is a very difficult time for him as the heir apparent, awkward when one learns that many of those around Donald Trump are suspicious of him, supposedly including White House Chief of Staff Suzie Wiles, who has a great impact on the President.

Vance cannot be fired, however, although, in theory, he could resign at some point, but that would be a long shot, not likely.

If one had to perceive the future, the scenario could be that Rubio would have the edge in the mind of Donald Trump, even though perceptions of Rubio show a grim appearance, indicating a feeling of discomfort as Rubio has, seemingly, abandoned his former foreign policy views, including support of Ukraine against Russia, to accommodate Trump.

Reapportionment Battles Create Massive Struggle For Control Of House Of Representatives In The Future 120th Congress (2027-2029)!

The reapportionment battle in Virginia yesterday resulted in a gerrymandering that will, in theory, provide four more likely Democratic held seats in the US House of Representatives for the future 120th Congress (2027-2029).

This is the latest development in the battle for the lower chamber of Congress, begun by President Donald Trump urging Texas to reapportion, and then further pursued in reaction by Democrats to do the same in California, and then other states also participating in gerrymandering in the midpoint of the decade, instead of the usual such action after the census that takes place across the nation in the decennial reapportionment.

Ironically, the action of Texas may partially backfire and help Democrats gain one or two seats, and of course, there is no certainty as to how elections based on this present gerrymandering activity will play itself out in reality.

On paper, it is pretty much a “wash”, at this point however, with the theoretical results being so far:

Texas 5 Republican gains
California 5 Democratic gains
Virginia 4 Democratic gains
Ohio 2 Republican gains
North Carolina 1 Republican gain
Missouri 1 Republican gain
Utah 1 Democratic gain
Florida (special session next week, potential 1-5 Republican gain

Before Florida, theoretically, Democrats may have gained a one seat edge, but if Florida succeeds in its gerrymandering, Republicans could gain a few seats edge.

Also, still in limbo, but possibly taking gerrymandering action before the elections in November, are New York, Georgia, and Louisiana.

Of course, this is not even taking into consideration that public opinion of Republicans is in rapid decline.

Also, there will be massive turnover, with many retirements, and some resignations to avoid expulsion.

The economic situation and anti Iran War views of vast majorities of Americans is making for a very favorable climate for Democrats, who already have won a vast majority of off year and special elections since the results of the Presidential Election of 2024, now nearly a year and a half ago.

Growing Rivalry Between Trump And Vance Not New In Presidential-Vice Presidential Historical Relationships!

With the competition for the 2028 Presidential Election just months away, beginning after the Midterm Elections of 2026 this November, a growing rivalry between President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance is becoming quite evident.

As Vance plans to run for President, if he does not succeed by use of the 25th Amendment or Trump’s passing, it is clear that Trump has distanced himself from Vance, as Vance is the so called “dove” in his administration, who was not really supportive of the Iran War, which Vance is now working to try to resolve.

The history of Presidential-Vice Presidential relationships is rife with rivalries and tensions, including

John Adams and Thomas Jefferson
Thomas Jefferson and Aaron Burr
John Quincy Adams and John C. Calhoun
Andrew Jackson and John C. Calhoun
James Buchanan and John C. Breckinridge
Abraham Lincoln and Hannibal Hamlin
Theodore Roosevelt and Charles W. Fairbanks
Woodrow Wilson and Thomas Marshall
Calvin Coolidge and Charles G. Dawes
Franklin D. Roosevelt and John Nance Garner
Franklin D. Roosevelt and Henry A. Wallace
Dwight D. Eisenhower and Richard Nixon
John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson
Lyndon B. Johnson and Hubert Humphrey
Bill Clinton and Al Gore
George W. Bush and Dick Cheney
Donald Trump and Mike Pence

Realize that in the history of the Vice Presidency, only four Vice Presidents succeeded the President they served under:

John Adams after George Washington
Thomas Jefferson after John Adams
Martin Van Buren after Andrew Jackson
George H. W. Bush after Ronald Reagan

So the challenge for JD Vance to succeed Donald Trump by election, not succession, will be a long shot in the record of history!

Only John C. Breckinridge in 1860; Henry A. Wallace in 1948; Richard Nixon in 1960 and then 1968 (out of office); Hubert Humphrey in 1968; Walter Mondale in 1984 (out of office); Al Gore in 2000; Joe Biden in 2020 (out of office); and Kamala Harris in 2024, have been able to be the nominee of the party they served under as Vice President, and with only Nixon and Biden making it to the White House belatedly!

Armageddon And Genocide Postponed, But Trump Is Danger And Threat To Entire World And MUST Be Removed From Office!

For the moment, the danger of Armageddon and Genocide has been postponed for two weeks, but Donald Trump remains a dire threat to the entire world with his diabolical threats against Iran.

This has nothing to do with supporting the Iranian government, which is evil and despicable, but the thought of exterminating an entire civilization, as threatened by the unhinged, unstable, erratic madman President of the United States, requires action to remove him before he decides to follow through on his reckless threats.

When you have right wing extremists such as Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones, all clearly dangerous advocates of extremism, taking a stand that Donald Trump needs to be removed from the Oval Office, it is clear that Donald Trump has gone much too far toward insanity.

And when Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, always an extremist right winger says the same, and more moderate Utah Senator John Curtis agrees on the need for action, it is irresponsible for nothing to be done about the threat that Donald Trump represents.

We have never had at any time in our history a danger of this magnitude from within the US government, and the military apparatus needs to make clear that they would NOT follow illegal, unethical orders by the President of the United States to promote mass murder.

And evoking white supremacist right wing evangelical Christianity as part of the military, as promoted by reckless Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and President Trump bringing Jesus Christ into the equation, is madness personified, as America is based on separation of church and state.

There clearly were doubts from the beginning of people around Trump regarding going to war against Iran, but everyone demonstrated a lack of courage to speak up and challenge the President. But this must not continue, and the Cabinet and Vice President JD Vance need to invoke the 25th Amendment and take away the ultimate power from Donald Trump!

Collapsing Public Opinion Polls For Donald Trump In Almost All States!

As the Iran War continues with overwhelming public opposition to the military effort; with gasoline prices soaring; with the Trump Cabinet being in a state of disarray; with vehement opposition to the tactics and strategies of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE); with the Epstein Files issue still a center of contention; and so much more, we are witnessing collapsing public opinion polls for Donald Trump in almost all states.

Of course, in “Blue” states, they are dramatically lower, but even in most “Red” states, Trump’s ratings are under water.

The states with the lowest public opinion ratings include:

8 states between 19 and 29 percent—Hawaii, Vermont, Maryland, Massachusetts, Washington, California, Oregon, Rhode Island

The remaining rankings of other states include:

15 states between 30 and 39 percent—New York, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, New Jersey, New Mexico, Colorado, Minnesota, Virginia, Maine, Michigan, Nevada, Georgia, Pennsylvania

17 states between 40 and 49 percent—Wisconsin, Alaska, Iowa, North Carolina, Arizona, Florida, Ohio, Texas, South Carolina, Missouri, Kansas, Kentucky, Nebraska, Mississippi, Indiana, Louisiana, Utah

10 states between 50 and 59 percent—South Dakota, Alabama, Montana, Tennessee, Idaho, Arkansas, North Dakota, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Wyoming

So 40 of the 50 states are in their majority opposed to Donald Trump, with 23 states below 40 percent support.

Donald Trump: A Horrendous Role Model For Young Men And Women, And For America’s Reputation Internationally!

Nearly nine years ago, this author and blogger created a title for an article about Donald Trump, after just five months in office, declaring him, that early in his first term, he was a horrendous role model for young men and women.

While this author and blogger has written a massive amount about Donald Trump since 2017, this specific title was not developed beyond the original title.

But now, after the events and comments of Donald Trump this past week, on top of a multitude of outrageous, despicable statements by Donald Trump over the long haul, it is clearly time to develop this article.

Just in the past week, Donald Trump has uttered the following:

Revealed the terrible health diagnosis of Florida Congressman Neal Dunn, who has a supposed terminal heart condition, with Trump stating that Dunn would be dead by June, shocking even Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, sitting next to him, by so making public what was not appropriate to utter. And all that Donald Trump cares about is that Neal Dunn will make every effort to be there and vote, at a time when the House of Representatives Republican majority is the least in 90 years!

Revealed publicly that his White House Chief of Staff Suzie Wiles has breast cancer, rather than letting her decide what if anything about her condition should be reported. But again, his comment is that Wiles will work full time while undergoing treatment, with it being clear that is more important to him than the idea that Wiles should take time off while undergoing chemotherapy.

Shamelessly, in front of the Japanese Prime Minister, joked about Pearl Harbor, leading to a shocked face, comparing it to his surprise attack on Iran, without any consultation with Congress, and ignoring the fact that post World War II Japan has been a loyal ally for 80 years. And Trump has done great damage to our relationship with our NATO and other allies, alienating them with his protective tariffs and ugly rhetoric and criticism.

Celebrated the death on Truth Social of former FBI Head Robert Mueller, a great public servant as FBI head and heroic military hero in Vietnam, who sacrificed to lead the investigation into Russian collusion in the Presidential Election of 2016.

What kind of human being acts this way, but this is common and typical of Donald Trump, who will stand for all time as the most despicable, immoral, unethical excuse for a human being of any President of the United States.

For the past five decades since the downfall of Richard Nixon, considered the most criminal and lawless President in American history, it was assumed no future President would be worse.

But as the saying goes, Donald Trump makes Richard Nixon look like a “Choir Boy” by comparison!

America is going through a nightmare scenario, and the goal is to work to survive the end of Donald Trump and “Trumpism” over the next three years, and restore American Democracy and the Rule of Law, after the tremendous harm and damage perpetrated by Trump and his corrupt sycophantic Cabinet, the worst in American history!

Lowest Public Opinion Support Of Iran War Of Any War After One Week Of Conflict!

Donald Trump’s decision to go to war with Iran has led to the lowest public opinion rating of support for any war since World War II.

Statistics show the following, according to a NY Times survey:

World War II 1941–97 percent
Afghanistan War 2001–92 percent
Persian Gulf War 1991–82 percent
Panama Intervention 1989–80 percent
Iraq War 2003–76 percent
Korean War 1950–75 percent
Vietnam War Escalation 1965-60 percent
Kosovo Intervention 1999–58 percent
Grenada Intervention 1983–53 percent
Libya Intervention 2011–47 percent
Iran War 2026–41 percent

With no plan, no clearcut understanding why diplomacy was abandoned by Donald Trump, Pete Hegseth, and Marco Rubio, America is now in a crisis of rising oil and gasoline prices, and lack of support from usual allies in wartime.

And Iran is now blockading the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20 percent of all oil worldwide is transported, a major crisis!

Emergence Of Anti Iran War MAGA Republicans Could Affect Midterm Elections Of 2026, And Presidential Election Of 2028!

Now that the United States is in Week Two of the Iran War, and with the son of the late Ayatollah being annointed his successor, it seems clear that America is on the road to a long, massive, expensive, disastrous intervention in the Middle East, without any certainty of success, similar to the Iraq War and the Afghanistan War.

And opposition is starting to emerge, from many so called MAGA Republicans, against the military intervention, some of it openly, and some of it behind the scenes.

Openly critical individuals this early include:

Tucker Carlson
Steve Bannon
Marjorie Taylor Greene, former Congresswoman from Georgia
Thomas Massie, Congressman from Kentucky
Rand Paul, Senator from Kentucky

Behind the scenes, based on past views about military intervention, and support of “isolationism” expressed, would include the following:

Vice President JD Vance
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard

The latter two are being very quiet at this point, but their past record of viewpoints clashes with what Donald Trump, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, and apparently, Secretary of State Marco Rubio are promoting.

So there could be a battle brewing for the future of the Republican Party, based on what happens in the midterms, and as the Republican Party starts to look at its future direction.

It is hard to imagine Vance openly breaking with his party and his “boss”, the President of the United States, but it is perceived by many that had Vice President Kamala Harris expressed more differences with her “boss”, Joe Biden, possibly, the result in the Presidential Election of 2024 might have been different.

If Vance was to “break” with Trump, he still would be Vice President, but it would encourage Marco Rubio, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, and others to challenge him for the Presidential nomination in 2028.

Of course, IF Vance became President by succession, and therefore, would be a sitting President, it would be much more difficult for a rebellion by MAGA Republicans to succeed against him.

Most certainly, the future of the Republican Party with the upcoming Presidential Election of 2028, is very much a fluid situation, and very difficult to project what will occur down the road!
