Younger voters voted for Donald Trump in the Presidential Election Of 2024, particularly young men, but there is now a major switch to the Democratic Party, according to poll and surveys.
This includes white and African American and Latino young men, along with young women to a lesser extent as more were not with Trump in 2024, with the major reasons being;
the horrible economy;
the Iran War;
massive corruption;
the cruelty of deportation of many Latinos who have no serious or any criminal record;
Trump’s lunatic behavior and statements;
concern about foreign relations being massively damaged, causing danger to national security;
and interfering with freedom of speech and press, including banning news media at the White House and on Air Force One.
Some young people have switched from Trump and Republicans to support of “Democratic Socialists”, such as Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani.
It is clear young voters are in a state of flux, wanting better economic opportunities above anything else.
