Profiles In Courage Awards Of JFK Presidential Library 2022–Defending Democracy

The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library has given out “Profile In Courage” Awards since 1989.

The award recognizes public officials at the federal, state, or local level whose actions demonstrate the qualities of politically courageous leadership in the spirit of John F. Kennedy’s Pulitzer Prize winning book of 1957.

This year, Congresswoman Liz Cheney, Republican of Wyoming; Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, Democrat of Michigan; House Speaker Russell “Rusty” Bowers, Republican of Arizona; Wandrea’ ArShaye Moss, Elections Department Employee, Fulton County, Georgia; and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine are being given the award for “Defending Democracy At Home And Abroad”.

All of the above, except for Zelenskyy have been involved in fighting Donald Trump and the “Big Lie” about the Presidential Election of 2020.

Liz Cheney has been unwavering in her support of the investigation of the January 6, 2021 Insurrection at the US Capitol, despite having lost her House leadership position, and facing a tough reelection primary in Wyoming.

It is worrisome that too many Secretaries of State across the nation are being challenged for reelection, with the purpose being to “fix” the results of upcoming elections, including the 2022 Midterms and the 2024 Presidential Election. This struggle includes Jocelyn Benson of Michigan.

And Elections Department employees are being threatened in their commitment to fair and unbiased election counts, including Wandrea’ ArShaye Moss of Georgia.

And some Republicans on the state level are resisting Donald Trump conspiracy theorists about the election of Joe Biden, including Arizona House Speaker Russell “Rusty” Bowers.

And Zelenskyy has been miraculous and courageous in defending Ukraine against Russia, seen by many as a modern Winston Churchill!

Mark Meadows EMails: Revelations Of House Republicans Conspiring To Overthrow 2020 Election Results!

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has released emails now being examined by the House January 6 Committee, and they demonstrate how many Republican members of Congress, particularly in the House of Representatives, were conspiring to overthrow the Presidential Election of 2020 results.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, Madison Cawthorn, Matt Gaetz, Louie Gohmert, Paul Gosar, Mo Brooks and others should all face prosecution and incarceration, as they have been shown to be traitors and seditionists.

And several US Senators, including Ted Cruz most notably, along with others not in Congress, including Rudy Guiliani, Steve Bannon, Mike Lindell, and others were conspiring to keep Donald Trump in office, despite the fact that he had not won enough states and electoral votes.

There will be hearings of the January 6 House Committee coming in June, and they will be as gripping and revealing as the Watergate hearings were five decades ago!

Future Of Former President And Former Vice President Campaigning Against Each Other–Trump, Pence!

This weekend, former President Donald Trump was in Ohio campaigning for his selected endorsement of J D Vance for the Republican nomination for the US Senate, and former Vice President Mike Pence was in Iowa testing the waters for a Presidential run.

It seems clear that Trump and Pence are very likely to challenge each other and numerous others for the Republican Presidential nomination in 2024, an event that has not happened since 1940, when Vice President John Nance Garner challenged President Franklin D. Roosevelt for the Presidential nomination.

Fireworks are likely, as Pence will continue, rightfully, to defend his upholding of the Constitution in accepting the Electoral College votes on the day of the January 6, 2021 Insurrection.

That was when Pence, personally, was threatened by the mobs encouraged by Trump to attack the US Capitol to try to prevent the ratification of Joe Biden as the 46th President.

It will be fascinating to see the rhetoric employed by Trump and Pence against each other!

The Republican Presidential Campaign Has Begun, With Trump Soon To Be Indicted, So Out Of The Running!

Here we are in mid April 2022, seven months before the midterm Congressional and Gubernatorial elections in November, but the Republican Presidential campaign has begun.

It is now clear that Donald Trump will soon be indicted, and that will put him out of the running, and his crowds at rallies are getting smaller and smaller by every estimate.

So Donald Trump will NOT repeat what Grover Cleveland did in 1892, after losing the Presidency in 1888–that is, come back, and run and win the Presidency once again.

And one must realize that even when Grover Cleveland “lost” in 1888, he won the national popular vote, although losing the Electoral College.

So Cleveland actually won the popular vote three times, with only Franklin D. Roosevelt winning four times.

And let us not forget that Donald Trump lost the popular vote by massive margins in 2016 and 2020!

Donald Trump will not be the Republican nominee, but the problem is that there are younger, smarter, but even more dangerous “copycats”, who think behaving like Trump, and promoting extremist right wing policies, will be a winnable strategy.

So the fight for 2024 by Democrats and responsible anti Trump Republicans has begun!

Joe Biden Supporting NATO Totally As All Presidents Since Truman, Except For Donald Trump

President Joe Biden is proving he is a genuine statesman, making perfectly clear that the United States backs its NATO partners completely.

He is supporting NATO totally as all Presidents have done since Harry Truman presided over the creation of NATO in 1949, with the glaring exception of Donald Trump.

Trump was rude, nasty, and abusive toward the NATO alliance, and was moving toward breaking America’s bond with its European allies, precisly what Vladimir Putin and the Russian Federation wanted him to do.

It is clear that if Trump had still been President, he would not have condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and would have refused to support NATO in opposition to Russian expansion.

So Joe Biden saved the nation and the world by winning the Presidency by the massive margin of 7 million popular votes, and winning five states won by Trump in 2016!

The Republican Accountability Project is dedicated to defending the principles of the Republican Party and is against Donald Trump and everything he stands for, including the January 6, 2021 US Capitol Insurrection.

In league with the earlier Lincoln Project, designed to undermine Trump in the 2020 Presidential Election cycle, those Republicans and conservatives in the earlier and present organizations are working to insure that the conservative values they share are able to prevent the future nomination of Donald Trump for President in 2024, and any other political leader who has been willing to sell their soul to support and court Donald Trump.

The Nightmare Of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis: Establishing An Authoritarian Governorship!

Florida has had a Republican Party dominance since 1998, when Jeb Bush was elected Governor, but looking back over the past 24 years, his time in office (1999-2007) was a clear dream as compared to the two most recent Republican governors (Rick Scott 2011-2019) and Ron DeSantis 2019- Present).

Scott was a man with a crooked background of Medicare fraud, who “bought’ the Governorship with his massive wealth, and is now Senator Scott, who refused to accept Joe Biden’s victory in the Presidential Election of 2020, and he can be seen as a traitor and seditionist!

But by comparison, the present Governor, DeSantis, is far worse for state government, as he has promoted:

Refusal to back federal guidelines on COVID 19 vaccinations and masking, causing higher cases and death rates than any other state per capita.

Interfering with setting up an additional Congressional district, by opposing representation for minorities, and attempting to promote extreme Republican gerrymandering.

Open discrimination in law against gays and transgender individuals in public schools, undermining security and safety for such children.

Banned discussion of race in discussion of American history in public schools and universities, avoiding discussion of slavery, segregation, and civil rights, and ignoring mistreatment of other racial minorities.

Promoted passage of an abortion ban after 15 weeks, similiar to Mississippi, with no exception for rape or incest.

Allowed “election police” to monitor elections, even though there is no record of any election irregularities.

Promoted allowance for drivers to threaten demonstrators who block roads, which are limitations on their freedom of assembly.

Impose term limits on school board members by state edict, after cutting pay for COVID 19 Mask Policies.

Ron DeSantis is taking away the powers of local governments, centralizing it in the state government, making him the equivalent of an authoritarian dictator, with his Republican Party willingly going along!

He is also promoting ethnic and class warfare, as he advocates “culture wars”!

Book Banning and Parental Rights are the slogans being used to justify censorship and restrictions on civil liberties!

It is urgent that DeSantis be pushed out of office this fall by Florida voters to prevent this man from running for President, and the thought that he might win the White House is terrifying!

Momentous State Of The Union Address Tonight By President Joe Biden!

President Joe Biden is giving his State of the Union Address tonight to a joint session of Congress, in the midst of the Ukraine War being conducted by Vladimir Putin and the Russian Federation.

This is the most disturbing event in Europe since World War II ended in 1945, and it has emboldened NATO, and led neutral nations to take actions unexpected, including Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, and Ukraine itself, putting up a valiant fight against the invaders.

It has also made Americans realize the lovers of Vladimir Putin, including Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and Sean Hannity of Fox News Channel, along with former President Donald Trump, former Secretary of State and Central Intelligence Agency head Mike Pompeo, and a large group of other Republicans in Congress, who are Putin apologists.

At this difficult moment, America is fortunate to have a President of great diplomatic and foreign policy expertise in place. But they also realize that Donald Trump emboldened Vladimir Putin into his aggression, by his admiration and cooperation with Putin, including the Russian intervention that elected Trump over Hillary Clinton in 2016, and encouraged the treason of Trump, which led to the January 6, 20201 US Capitol Insurrection!

Also, Biden will deal with the economics of the COVID 19 Pandemic, and will push to move ahead on more domestic legislation.

Republicans Are Now The Party Of Anarchy And Support Of Domestic Terrorism: Mind Boggling!

The Republican Party has now become the party of anarchy and chaos, and support of domestic terrorism, absolutely mind boggling!

Not only did much of the party in Congress support denying Joe Biden his Electoral College win!

Many have chosen to ignore the reality of the January 6 Insurrection, a domestic terrorism that caused death, injuries, and destruction at the US Capitol, and just want to move on!

And now, eight Republican Senators have opposed putting mask opponents on a “no fly list”, who have committed the equivalent of domestic terrorism against airline employees and passengers innumerable times on domestic and foreign flights!

Such unruly passengers on aviation flights should face arrest and imprisonment, but more than that!

They should be barred from EVER again being able to use any airline for any flights anywhere!

But these eight Republican Senators—Rick Scott and Marco Rubio of Florida; Mike Lee of Utah; Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming; Ted Cruz of Texas; Kevin Cramer of North Dakota; James Lankford of Oklahoma; and John Hoeven of North Dakota, think otherwise, which is astounding beyond belief!

This is recklessness and lack of concern for public safety beyond the pale!

Senators Ted Cruz And Rand Paul Support Undermining Of America’s Public Health And Economy!

Republican Senators Ted Cruz of Texas and Rand Paul of Kentucky are the most obscene, disgraceful members of the US Senate, a legislative body that has too many members who are outrageous in their behavior!

Both of these Senators ran for President in 2016, and both were very scary, and have gone along with all of the evil perpetrated by Donald Trump!

And now, both, besides having no issue with Donald Trump and the January 6 Insurrection on the US Capitol, have had the gall to support the Ottawa, Canada truckers site over the issue of vaccinations. Both were “hoping” it would spread to America and cause traffic jams at the Superbowl in Los Angeles (a total failure in that regard), and also to Washington DC for the State of the Union address by President Joe Biden on March 1, and also undermine economic stability in other cities.

What is wrong with these people? They want to undermine America’s public health and economy!

So let us call a spade a spade—Ted Cruz and Rand Paul are seditionists, traitors, domestic terrorists in their advocacy of turmoil, and they should face arrest and prosecution for undermining the national interest!

They are also attempting to harm our great and stable neighbor and partner, Canada, with which we share the largest peaceful land boundary now for more than 200 years!
