January 6 House Committee Hearing Today Conclusive Evidence Of Trump Guilt

The January 6 House Committee hearing today has provided yet more conclusive evidence of Donald Trump’s guilt in inciting the US Capitol Insurrection.

Particularly impressive was Vice Chair of the committee, Wyoming Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney, and Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, along with Maryland Democratic Congressman Jamie Raskin and California Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff.

While there is danger of violence with Trump talking about “civil war”, the Department of Justice has no choice but to bring charges against Donald Trump, with the timing being after the Midterm Elections of 2022, and before the new 118th Congress begins.

No one is above the law, and that principle is essential, as a warning to future Presidents, that justice is even handed, and no one has an advantage in court because of fame or notoriety!

So a subpoena is being issued to Donald Trump by the committee to come and testify under oath, and we shall see what transpires!

Trump Now Adopting QAnon Conspiracy Theories And Symbols: A Growing Threat To American Democracy!

Donald Trump is becoming crazier by the day, and has now adopted QAnon Conspiracy theories and symbols!

At his Youngstown, Ohio rally over last weekend, his MAGA supporters were treating Donald Trump like a King, or as Liz Cheney reported, a fellow Republican who was willing to bend to Trump’s will on January 6, 2021, called Trump an “Orange Jesus”!

A Nazi type salute was employed by many in that Ohio crowd, and it is clear that Donald Trump becomes more dangerous by the day, as his MAGA followers, estimated to be one third of the nation, seem to be, in many cases, mentally ill, crazy lunatics, who are ready to provoke violence on a whim!

And Trump is advocating violence if any action is taken against him by the US Government!

Somehow, action must be taken to neutralize Trump, and as he comes closer to likely indictment in many venues, including Georgia, New York State, Washington DC, and by the Justice Department, the fear of a full scale uprising worse then Janury 6, 2021 is a growing threat that must be dealt with firmly by the Defense Department and legal authorities in states and cities all over the nation!

Donald Trump Threatens Violence If He Is Indicted, But Justice Department Must Not Be Intimidated!

For the first time in American history, we have a former President threatening violence if he is indicted for his crimes, which clearly are sedition and treason.

Donald Trump stated so a few days ago, apparently trying to intimidate Attorney General Merrick Garland to overlook his incitement of the January 6, 2021 US Capitol Insurrection, and the illegal removal of national security documents to his Palm Beach, Florida estate of Mar A Lago.

This presents a difficult situation, but the answer is not to cave in to Donald Trump or any other lawless person, as it is essential that the rule of law applies to all Americans equally!

Republican Attacks On FBI, IRS, Election Workers A Reckless And Dangerous Escalation!

Republican Party leaders are escalating attacks on the FBI after the Department of Justice ordered intervention at Mar A Lago to retrieve national security documents illegally removed by Donald Trump when he left the White House.

Threats on the law enforcement agency and its agents make the Republican Party look like the party of lawlessness, chaos, and anarchy. This is all in the name of a former President who is promoting Fascist authoritarianism in his mission to regain power with the intention of destroying government institutions, with the help of the MAGA mob that can be seen as domestic terrorists, and Trump promoting their extremism.

But also, future potential House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is encouraging such action, with his promotion of conspiracy theories, along with a whole group of other reckless Republicans.

And Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, who if reelected in November at age 89, would be President Pro Tempore if the Republicans become the majority in the US Senate, is asserting a preposterous claim. According to Grassley, the new Inflation Reduction Act of Joe Biden, which allows 87,000 new Internal Revenue Service employees, is going to lead to such new employees having the authority to use force, including assault rifles against small business owners and middle class tax payers to collect taxes!

This is pure insanity, and to think that the third and fourth ranking government officials that may arise after the midterm elections are attacking the federal government’s ability to do their jobs of public safety and tax collection, is an alarm bell for the future of extremism!

And also, election workers are being threatened all over the nation, as Republicans aim at insuring that their party will take control of election machinery and insure that only Republicans can win elections in the future!

The Republican Party has become a “clear and present danger” to American democracy and the rule of law, and has made the Midterm Elections of 2022 more urgent than any midterm elections in the past!

Sad Conclusion: Donald Trump Has Violated The Espionage Act, And Must Be Arrested And Prosecuted!

The revelation of Donald Trump breaking the Espionage Act, and having top secret documents at Mar A Lago, that had to be removed by court order brought by the Justice Department, leads to a clearcut conclusion.

Donald Trump has undermined national security, obstructed justice, violated the Espionage Act, and must be arrested and prosecuted to the full extent of the law!

Anyone in the Republican Party or at Fox News Channel or other right wing media channels is guilty of complicity if they continue to support Donald Trump with this new revelation!

There should be complete reversal by all Republicans in Congress and at the right wing media channels, or else they are to be regarded as collaborators, and a threat to civil order and American democracy!

Earliest indications are that Fox News Channel, by watching that station on Friday night, is still engaged in promoting the defense of Donald Trump, a very troubling development!

And threats against the FBI and other government institutions and individuals are a growing crisis, all due to the cult like worship of Donald Trump supporters!

The Republican Party, Donald Trump loyalists, and Fox News Channel have declared war on law enforcement and national security, threatening action to destroy the FBI, Department of Justice, and Department of Homeland Security, over the legitimate action of removing national security and other government documents wrongfully taken by Donald Trump to his Florida estate, Mar A Lago, when he left office 19 months ago!

It is shocking to see the reaction of a large slew of Republicans, including, among others:

Death threats are emanating, with the fear that top government officials to the highest level, may be subjected to assassination threats, a horrifying thought!

Another January 6th is a possibility, an attack on the US Capitol or other government buildings by an armed mob, with domestic terrorism being inflamed further by Donald Trump and his minions!

With the January 6 House Committee deep into its public hearings and testimony about the January 6, 2021 Insurrection, the evidence is building up of former President Donald Trump’s direct involvement and incitement of the horrendous events of that day at the US Capitol.

Can any sane person really believe that Trump does not have a major input into what happened, including his association with the “Proud Boys” and “Oath Keepers” domestic terrorist groups; and the involvement of a multitude of people around him in laying plans for the chaos of that day?

Can a President who endorsed harm against his own Vice President, Mike Pence, be allowed to go without charges that any other person would face?

It is clear that Donald Trump knew and knows he lost the 2020 Presidential election, but his own ego and Fascist authoritarian leanings made him unwilling to accept reality!

It is a difficult issue for the Justice Department and Attorney General Merrick Garland to take action, but if the Constitution and rule of law are to matter in the future, then Donald Trump must face charges!

The horrors of Donald Trump keep growing with new revelations, including:

Trump was on the brink in June 2020 of using the Insurrection Act of 1807, allowing for martial law.

Trump was on the brink of having COVID 19 patients sent to Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba.

Trump allies were involved in an attempt to run a Joe Biden campaign bus off the road in central Texas in late October.

Trump was investigating journalists through their emails and phone logs, who had criticized him, and had plans to prosecute them.

Trump wanted to prosecute Congressmen Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell of California for their work on the House Judiciary Committee in investigating Trump.

Trump looked at the Justice Department as his private law firm and defender, not the independent department it is supposed to be.

Trump was nonchalant about the January 6 Capitol Insurrection, and was clearly enjoying mayhem, and did not take any action to end it for four hours, while Mike Pence and Nancy Pelosi were in danger, and realize they were the top two in the line of Presidential succession after Trump.

Many new books and revelations are coming out, and the Trump Organization, and potentially Trump and his children face the likelihood of indictment in New York City, New York State, Washington DC, and Georgia, on financial charges, and the promotion of the “Big Lie”, trying to change the election results that saw Joe Biden become President.

He is still promoting conspiracy theories, specifically in Arizona and Georgia, undermining belief that elections are being administered fairly, and trying to change the future election system in many states, undermining faith in American democracy!

The horrors of a potential coup to remove President Joe Biden is not just a dream of right wing extremists, but to them, it is reality as part of their conspiracy theories.

The Secret Service is tasked with real threats to both Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, as there are people around Donald Trump, such as Sidney Powell, retired General Mike Flynn, and right wing talk show hosts who are promoting the idea that by sometime in the summer, with all of the illegal recounting of election results, totally unauthorized, Donald Trump will return to power.

Even Donald Trump is saying such now, an example of total delusion, but it is not to be laughed at, as too many Republicans nationally are hooked to the idea that Joe Biden is an illegitimate President.

We are not being told about threats to Biden and Harris, but clearly, this is a time of great concern and stress, and the need for the FBI and the Secret Service and the Justice Department to move forward to prevent such a coup, and another attack on the US Capitol!

As the Second Donald Trump Impeachment Trial came to an end today, with only seven Republicans joining the Democrats for conviction, ten votes short of the two thirds vote required to convict, one thing is very clear!

The criminals in the Republican Party who promoted sedition and treason, and refused to accept the Electoral College votes, even after the Capitol Insurrection on January 6, 2021, need to be prosecuted by the Justice Department and Attorney General Merrick Garland, once he finally has his hearing to lead the Justice Department, and is confirmed.

It is clear that the Republican Party has delayed hearings for Garland, who already was mistreated in 2016, when his nomination to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court was prevented by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

It may well be the most difficult position in the Biden Cabinet to be Attorney General in the present political climate, but justice demands that the Justice Department pursue prosecution of Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri and Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, the ring leaders in the promotion of Insurrection, but also six other Senators who joined them, as well as 139 House members, including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California.

And while now Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was not part of the treason-sedition crowd, he should be condemned for failing to support the conviction of Donald Trump!
