The Donald Trump Cabinet: The Worst Of The Worst!

Many American Presidents have had Cabinet Officers who are corrupt and disgraceful in their behavior.

But no Presidency matches, particularly, in the second term of Donald Trump, only 19 months, the horrifying corruption and disgraceful behavior of Cabinet Officers, and already some Cabinet Members are gone, and others, seemingly, on thin ice.

Already, Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security; Attorney General Pam Bondi; Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard; and Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer have been removed from their posts, ironically all women.

But there are so many others who are corrupt and disgraceful, and should be removed, but Donald Trump seems more comfortable with his male Cabinet Officers.

Among the “worst of the worst” in ranked order are the ten following:

Secretary of Defense (War)—Pete Hegseth

Secretary of Health and Human Services—Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick

Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent

Attorney General Todd Blanche

Office of Management and Budget Russell Vought

Secretary of Interior Doug Burgum

Environmental Protection Agency Head Lee Zeldin

Secretary of Education Linda McMahon

Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy

This does not mean that the remainder of the Trump Cabinet in the second term is much better, with only one—Secretary of State Marco Rubio being not totally disgraceful, but still a major disappointment as he, like so many others, has abandoned all principles and beliefs in service of Donald Trump.

Congressional Republicans’ Support Of Trump Splintering

The sycophancy of Congressional Republicans, particularly Senate Republicans, toward Donald Trump is showing signs of splintering on a number of matters, further endangering the party as the Midterm Elections of 2026 come upon us in a little over five months.

Trump’s insistence of total loyalty of party members is wearing thin, as he alienated many by working against the renomination of Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy; endorsed Ken Paxton over Senator John Cornyn for the Texas Senate nomination that will be decided next week; and most divisive, his plan to set up a 1.776 Billion Compensation Fund, also termed the “Anti Weaponization Fund”, for so called victims of government “mistreatment”, including the January 6, 2021 US Capitol Insurrectionists, who went to prison for their crimes, before being pardoned by Trump on Day One of his second term.

The willingness of many Republican Senators to be openly critical of the idea of paying insurrectionists and convicted criminals compensation, often in the millions of dollars, was made evident after a tumultuous two hour meeting with Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche. Among those who were outraged were Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski, Maine Senator Susan Collins, Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, North Carolina, Senator Thom Tillis, Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy, and Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson.

But also there are opponents of the proposed White House Ballroom; the proposed Triumphal Arch; and other spending on vanity projects that Trump has promoted.

With Trump’s public approval ratings reaching an all time low, and with the Iran War continuing without any end in sight, and the abuses of ICE and other government agencies and the horrors of so many Trump government officials, we are finally seeing a disintegration of party support for Trump.

The question is however how far will the revolt against Trump develop over the next months until November, and beyond.

Dangerous To Have Presidential Succession Group In One Place Off Government Protected Buildings, As Occurred At Washington Hilton Hotel!

The horrifying incident of a gunman at the Washington Hilton Hotel during the White House Correspondents Association Annual Dinner was more than just a threat to the President of the United States and the 2,500 guests, many of them journalists.

It also was the reality that MOST of the group under the 1947 Presidential Succession Act were also there, truly a dangerous and unacceptable scenario.

13 members of the Presidential succession were at the event, including Vice President JD Vance and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.

But also almost all of the Cabinet Officers were present, leaving an alarming situation.

The only people under the Presidential Succession Act NOT present were:

President Pro Tempore of the Senate Chuck Grassley of Iowa, nearing age 93;

Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins;

Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick;

The two “Acting” Secretaries–Attorney General Todd Blanche, and Secretary of Labor Keith Sonderling were there, who some observers would say are not eligible to succeed to the Presidency, as they have not been selected yet as the successors in those posts, and have not been confirmed.

Also, it is unclear if Scott Turner, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and Doug Collins, Secretary of Veterans Affairs were present at the event.

There was no formal “Designated Survivor” chosen before the event in case of a tragedy.

Never again can the federal government allow even the unlikely scenario that occurred on April 25 to happen again.
