Ironic That James Comey Actually “Helped” Trump Win In 2016, And Now Indicted By Trump Administration!

There are so many ironies about Donald Trump, but one of the most amazing is that Trump has no regard for someone who, unwittingly, helped him become President.

As head of the FBI in 2016, Comey, a registered Republican, announced an investigation of Hillary Clinton, which he then dropped 11 days later, but the damage was done.

Despite Clinton’s winning the popular vote by 2.85 million votes over Donald Trump, it was not enough to stop Trump in the Electoral College, making him the fourth time that a popular vote loser won the Presidency in the Electoral College.

Trump was not happy with James Comey, and fired him early in his first term, but now is attempting to bring him to a conviction based on flimsy evidence, forcing his politicized Justice Department under Attorney General Pam Bondi to indict him, as has just occurred.

This will be an interesting legal challenge for James Comey, but the odds of Donald Trump seeing a conviction of the former FBI head is quite remote!

It should remind Trump supporters in Congress that Trump will stop at nothing in his quest to be an authoritarian dictator!

Danger Of Charlie Kirk Becoming Martyr And Provoking Political Violence! :(

The unfortunate assassination of Charlie Kirk is leading to threats to various groups who he constantly attacked in his statements and appearances, with the financial support of billionaries who wish to control the future with their right wing extremism.

So the Democratic National Committee, various Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), and a multitude of others who were not in agreement with his extremist rhetoric, are now being theatened.

Charlie Kirk is becoming a martyr for so called “good Christians”, who are anything but that, but simply those exploiting his death to promote their agenda against the rights of women, racial minorities, immigrants from Latin America and Africa, gay and transgender people, Muslims, and even Jews (except in regards to the Gaza War).

Violence and intimidation are being utilized, and Donald Trump is talking about retribution and revenge, an excuse to continue his quest to promote authoritarian tyranny and destroy our American democracy and the rule of law.

The shocking assassination of right wing activist Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, at a Utah University speaking event yesterday, is a danger sign for the future of American politics.

Kirk was a controversial and outspoken figure, who had millions of followers on social media who followed his extremist rhetoric, which had elements of racism, nativism, misogyny, Islamophobia, and attacks on gay, lesbian and transgender people.

And despite his recent pro Israel support on the Gaza War, Kirk also had uttered antisemitic assertions, and was promoting a white Christian MAGA nationalism mentality.

Kirk had the full support of Donald Trump and his children, JD Vance, and all of the most influential Trump Cabinet and advisers, and was seen as the most controversial and divisive young advocate of Trump policies, along with Stephen Miller.

Now, sadly and troubling, we are seeing, already, right wing attacks on the left wing, without any idea of who the assassin was, and that person’s motivations, as the manhunt continues as I write this entry.

And the fear is that Trump and his Cabinet will step up even more abusive and aggressive attacks on the vulnerable groups that have already been victimized in the past eight months.

Here we are on the 24th anniversary of September 11, and now a crisis on what the American future will be, and the fear of many more victims of violence and bloodshed that may be perpetrated by the extremists of both sides of the political spectrum.

This is a time that America should be uniting in mourning a death that should not have occurred, not a time for retribution and revenge!

Trump’s Revenge And Retribution Tour: Moving Toward Martial Law And Mass Prosecution Of “Enemies” Of Trump!

Sadly and tragically, President Donald Trump is clearly on a revenge and retribution tour, moving toward what seems inevitably the declaration of martial law on the nation at some point in future months.

Already, he has sent in the National Guard to Los Angeles and now Washington, DC, and is threatening such actions in other “Blue” states and cities, including Chicago, New York, Baltimore, and Oakland, by specific statements, but likely elsewhere as well.

Trump also has the Justice Department under Attorney General Pam Bondi promoting FBI raids and investigations on Trump critics, including those who once worked for him, but have turned against him, most notably in last couple of days, of former National Security Adviser John Bolton.

One does not have to agree with everything Bolton has done and said in his career, but the idea of “weaponizing” the FBI, CIA, and other national security agencies against domestic critics is horrifying and terrorizing for the concept of the Bill of Rights.

In only seven months, the Trump Presidency has become a “clear and present danger” to basic American traditions of preserving American democracy, the US Constitution, and the rule of law.

The speed of acceleration of authoritarianism almost seems unstoppable at this point.

Donald Trump Revives Barack Obama Hatred With Crazy Charges Of Treason Regarding Presidential Elections Of 2016 And 2020!

Donald Trump is attempting to divert attention from the Jeffrey Epstein Scandal, which has caused an uproar among MAGA Republicans.

His latest tactic is to have Tulsi Gabbard, former Democratic Hawaii Congresswoman with a controversial record on foreign policy issues, and appointed Director of National Intelligence by Trump, to conjure up almost a decade later that President Barack Obama was involved in a conspiracy to destroy Trump’s election in 2016 over Hillary Clinton, and even making claims about the Presidential Election of 2020, which Trump still contends was “fixed” by the Democrats.

This ploy is being utilized, despite Marco Rubio, presently Secretary of State, and head of the Senate Intelligence Committee in 2019, asserting back then that Trump was assisted in winning in 2016 by Russian collusion.

It is a shock that Trump and Gabbard are claiming that Barack Obama has committed treason, a charge never labeled by a sitting President against a former President, who has been subjected to constant attack by Trump going back as far as 2011 onward.

This diversion from the damage and harm that Donald Trump is waging against the American people, and his willingness to do anything to take attention away from the Epstein Scandal, is stunning.

But no matter what Trump, Gabbard, and Attorney General Pam Bondi work to accomplish, there will be no actual charge of treason, as it has no basis, and just further proves how far Donald Trump is willing to go to promote retribution and revenge against so called “enemies” of his criminal activities.

With six months of this unending nightmare of the second Trump Presidency now completed, it is absolutely clear that this administration and President is unmatched in American history, and even rare in world history!

The level of evil, mendacity, mean spiritedness, and cruelty that Donald Trump and his supporters have visited upon Americans of all kinds of backgrounds, is shocking and beyond all belief, that there is a sense of decency in play, as clearly, it is not so!

Revenge, resentment, retribution, punishment, and harming people is the aim of the Trump Presidency, rather than compassion, decency, ethics, morality, and empathy.

Trump Promoting Revenge And Retribution Against James Comey And John Brennan!

Donald Trump is following through on his campaign of revenge and retribution against his critics, most notably now with the announcement that the Department of Justice is pursuing an investigation of former FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan, both of whom were fired by Trump early in his first term.

One can certainly find fault with some of the actions or policies of any government agency, but this is a direct attack on the intelligence agencies, which should never be politicized.

The fact that both the FBI and CIA engaged in investigation of the close association between candidate Trump and Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation during the Presidential Election campaign of 2016 is the center of Trump’s wrath.

The Senate Intelligence Committee headed by, of all people, Florida Senator Marco Rubio in 2019, demonstrated that there WAS a connection between Trump and Putin, that affected the election results, and led to the defeat of Hillary Clinton in 2016.

And it was Comey who created a controversy just less than two weeks before the election regarding Clinton, which, ironically, helped Trump to pull out a victory despite losing the national popular vote by more than a half million votes!

Grievance, Revenge, Retribution, Cruelty: Hallmarks Of Trump Presidency!

America has NEVER had a situation as we have in the present: a President whose life is based on grievance, revenge, retribution, and cruelty.

It is a literal nightmare the nation faces, as there is no compassion, empathy, decency, morals, ethics present, and not only in Donald Trump, but also in his Cabinet and other advisers and appointees.

Everything that is said and done is meanspirited, and without any conscience.

Never has the nation had it anywhere as tragic as this, not even with Richard Nixon, as members of his Cabinet turned againat him, and Republicans in Congress cooperated in investigations that led to his resignation.

But even Nixon would be shocked to see the level of open corruption and venality exhibited by Trump and his top cohorts.

Never did we have a group of women, such as Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi, Tulsi Gabbard, and even White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who exhibit no sense of propriety in their statements and actions.

Never had we had such evil, nasty aides such as Stephen Miller and Thomas Homan and Russell Vought who are so anti immigrant to an extreme hard to fathom.

Never had we had people who have such arrogance as displayed by Pete Hegseth, Howard Lutnick, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, and even Vice President JD Vance.
