Joe Biden Is “Presidential” In First Town Hall, While Donald Trump Is Petty And Infantile In Attack On Party Critics

President Joe Biden had his first Town Hall last evening on CNN, with Anderson Cooper as the interviewer.

It was so refreshing to see a President who acts “Presidential”, and his warm, engaging personality came through, as well as his sincerity, honesty, and genuine nature.

After the horrors of mentally ill, unstable Donald Trump plaguing the nation for four years with his hatred, racism, nativism, misogyny, and pure ignorance of domestic and foreign affairs issues, it was great to see a President who has real goals and plans, and is backed up by Vice President Kamala Harris, who is truly decent, and not a religious hypocrite as Mike Pence was.

No wonder that Joe Biden has a 62 percent rating, after one month in office, while Donald Trump NEVER reached 50 percent!

It is time to stop news coverage of the felon who was our 45th President, and who is spending his time wreaking havoc on the party that elected him to a disastrous term in the White House. Trump is showing how lacking in appreciation he is at the sacrifices of Mitch McConnell and other Republicans who went out of their way to support him in his two impeachment trials!

Donald Trump’s Character On Display In Public Appearances: Worst By Far In American History!

Donald Trump is the most insufferable public figure ever known, with his disgraceful character on display in public appearances, and no sign that he cares about his image or reputation!

He lies more than anyone ever has in the Presidency.

He insults everyone imaginable, except authoritarian dictators.

He has no compassion, empathy, or common decency, and does not care how much he hurts others.

He has no sense of propriety, and manages to make everything centered around himself.

He has particular venom for women, and people of color, including calling them animals or having low IQ!

He has no respect for anyone who works for him, using them, and then disposing of them.

Everything on a daily basis is connected to how it affects him, and he is always on the attack on Twitter and in public events, where he speaks to a admiring and loyal audience.

One wonders how his adoring followers, and particularly, women, can tolerate his horrible behavior.

It makes one wonder about the intelligence and basic decency of millions of followers, who seem almost like a cult.

It demonstrates the failure of the family unit, that you could have parents who admire Trump, and apparently, think their son or daughter should act like he does, a shocking thought!

No President has ever acted like Donald Trump, not even Richard Nixon, who may have used salty and degrading language in private on the Watergate tapes, but NEVER in public, as he had too much dignity to behave in such a gross manner as Donald Trump.

Donald Trump has damaged the image and history of the American Presidency, and he will not escape the condemnation he deserves in historical writings in future generations!

Donald Trump’s Alternate Reality And Inability To Tell The Truth Undermining America Today And In The Future

Donald Trump is clearly a very sick man, mentally unbalanced, and unable to see reality or tell the truth about anything.

We are living through a nightmare, that every morning, we wake up, and want to imagine it is over, but it is NOT over, and after 45 days in the White House, we are living through a tumultuous time which is undermining any possibility of unity, or optimism about the future.

Trump lives in an alternate reality, and is the LIAR IN CHIEF, and anyone with any common sense, can clearly notice that his behavior is far outside the norm, and that he stands out as the worst possible example of Presidential leadership.

Many observers seem to think that somehow Trump can make it through a four year term, but this author and blogger does not see it that way, and believes that if he were to do so, this nation would be so damaged in domestic and foreign policy, that it would take many decades to recover.

Why, oh why, did this nightmare have to occur, and undermine all of the progress in the past century and more under both Democratic and Republican Presidents?

All progressives have to commit themselves to active efforts to end this nightmare by stopping their divisive tactics, as with the Democratic National Chairman election, where some came out of the situation disgruntled.

The fact that Tom Perez asked Keith Ellison to be his deputy should be the first example of cooperation among progressives for the future, or else, progressivism is doomed long term.

Chris Christie’s Bully Image Not Good For A President: Tact And Diplomacy An Essential For Good Leadership!

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie seems to charm many people with his bluntness and candor, and many people also laugh when they see him being sarcastic and harsh in his rhetoric, but this, while entertaining to many, is NOT good for a person who wishes to become leader of the free world, and be able to deal with the multitude of crises that arise under any President.

Being a “bully” is not flattering, and Christie has demonstrated this fault innumerable times in dealing with citizens of New Jersey, the state legislature, and the news media.

Imagine this happening in dealing with foreign governments! Sure, many average Americans might say: “punch the SOB in the mouth!”, but that is NOT the way diplomacy can be done, and if Christie insults foreign leaders, rather than “control his tongue”, this could lead to war, and the loss of lives because of his temper and inability to control his public behavior.

Americans would not be laughing if Christie’s mouth and demeanor cause massive problems, and his temperamental nature could be a danger to all of us, as while it might be fine or acceptable to be that way for the Governor of New Jersey, it is totally inappropriate for the Presidency of the United States.

What American President in modern times has acted this way? NONE is the answer, not even Harry Truman, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, or George W. Bush, all of whom were known for some blunders in their public utterances, but NONE on the level of the ability of Christie to provoke.

So, Governor Christie, if you wish to become President, you had better start toning down right now! But seriously, we all know this is part of his public persona, so therefore, it clearly disqualifies him to sit in the Oval Office. Sorry, Chris!
