Doug Mastriano: Authoritarian Christian Nationalist Election Denier A Massive Threat!

Pennsylvania and the nation at large has a new threat to American democracy, in the nomination of Doug Mastriano as the Republican Gubernatorial nominee for the upcoming state election in November.

Mastriano is a far right authoritarian Christian nationalist, a retired US Army Colonel, who is a Donald Trump loyalist, and has promoted the “Big Lie”, that Trump won the Presidential Election of 2020 over President Joe Biden.

He was present at the January 6, 2021 US Capitol Insurrection, and breached barriers set up by the US Capitol Police, although he did not enter the Capitol during the riot and bloodshed that followed.

Mastriano was subpoenaed by the January 6 House Committee on February 22, to explain his involvement with Trump, but has not responded to the subpoena.

He has indicated that he will, if elected Pennsylvania Governor, appoint a Secretary of State who will insure that the electoral votes of the Keystone state go to Trump or whoever is the Republican nominee in the Presidential Election of 2024, no matter what the popular vote results are.

He has also promoted the idea of limiting voting, and outlawing abortion in all circumstances, including rape, incest, and even life of the mother. He invokes Christian religious rhetoric, and has promoted conspiracy theories. He has also limited media ability to cover his public events. There are many Republicans who think he is an direct threat to their party’s success in the Fall elections, due to his clearcut extremism.

Matriano also resisted the promotion of masking to deal with the COVID 19 Pandemic, and has demonstrated that he is very dangerous in his views on public health matters.

It is essental that Democratic Gubernatorial nominee Josh Shapiro, presently the Attorney General, defeat Mastriano in the upcoming election, as Mastriano is perceived as a “clear and present danger” to the state of Pennsylvania and American democracy!

Profiles In Courage Awards Of JFK Presidential Library 2022–Defending Democracy

The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library has given out “Profile In Courage” Awards since 1989.

The award recognizes public officials at the federal, state, or local level whose actions demonstrate the qualities of politically courageous leadership in the spirit of John F. Kennedy’s Pulitzer Prize winning book of 1957.

This year, Congresswoman Liz Cheney, Republican of Wyoming; Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, Democrat of Michigan; House Speaker Russell “Rusty” Bowers, Republican of Arizona; Wandrea’ ArShaye Moss, Elections Department Employee, Fulton County, Georgia; and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine are being given the award for “Defending Democracy At Home And Abroad”.

All of the above, except for Zelenskyy have been involved in fighting Donald Trump and the “Big Lie” about the Presidential Election of 2020.

Liz Cheney has been unwavering in her support of the investigation of the January 6, 2021 Insurrection at the US Capitol, despite having lost her House leadership position, and facing a tough reelection primary in Wyoming.

It is worrisome that too many Secretaries of State across the nation are being challenged for reelection, with the purpose being to “fix” the results of upcoming elections, including the 2022 Midterms and the 2024 Presidential Election. This struggle includes Jocelyn Benson of Michigan.

And Elections Department employees are being threatened in their commitment to fair and unbiased election counts, including Wandrea’ ArShaye Moss of Georgia.

And some Republicans on the state level are resisting Donald Trump conspiracy theorists about the election of Joe Biden, including Arizona House Speaker Russell “Rusty” Bowers.

And Zelenskyy has been miraculous and courageous in defending Ukraine against Russia, seen by many as a modern Winston Churchill!

Five Republican House Members, Including Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Subpoenaed

The January 6 House Committee has subpoenaed Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and four other House Republicans, to testify about the January 6, 2021 Insurrection.

The others are Jim Jordan of Ohio, Scott Perry of Pennsylvania, Mo Brooks of Alabama, and Andy Biggs of Arizona.

All clearly committed treason and sedition, or have agreed to cover up on the truth and facts of that fateful day!

All of them should face penalties, and being barred from facing election in the future, unless they cooperate in the January 6 investigation!

“Civil War” Likely Within Republican Caucus In House Of Representatives Over Kevin McCarthy Comments

With more revelations about Republicah House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and his phone calls after the January 6, 2021 US Capitol Insurrection being exposed, it seems ever more likely that IF the Republicans win control of the House of Representatives in the Midterm Congressional Elections of 2022, there will be open “civil war” over him becoming Speaker of the House!

It seems clear that the most right wing and seditionist oriented Republicans in the House Caucus will refuse to back Kevin McCarthy to be Speaker, so only if the Republicans gain a massive margin in the House races this fall, will McCarthy manage to be elected Speaker.

The thought of Kevin McCarthy being Speaker is a nightmare, as he has no principles, ethics, or morals, and is a massive liar who bends to the will of Donald Trump.

But the alternative choice could be an even more extremist member, such as Jim Jordan of Ohio, and that could lead to a major constitutional crisis, as such a Speaker would certainly wreak havoc on the House, and declare war on Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, the Democrats, and lead to likely revenge investigations of the member of the January 6 House Committee.

Somehow, the effort to keep a Democratic majority, even if it goes against history in midterm elections, is essential for the survival of the reputation of Congress and the stability of American democracy into the future!

Mark Meadows EMails: Revelations Of House Republicans Conspiring To Overthrow 2020 Election Results!

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has released emails now being examined by the House January 6 Committee, and they demonstrate how many Republican members of Congress, particularly in the House of Representatives, were conspiring to overthrow the Presidential Election of 2020 results.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, Madison Cawthorn, Matt Gaetz, Louie Gohmert, Paul Gosar, Mo Brooks and others should all face prosecution and incarceration, as they have been shown to be traitors and seditionists.

And several US Senators, including Ted Cruz most notably, along with others not in Congress, including Rudy Guiliani, Steve Bannon, Mike Lindell, and others were conspiring to keep Donald Trump in office, despite the fact that he had not won enough states and electoral votes.

There will be hearings of the January 6 House Committee coming in June, and they will be as gripping and revealing as the Watergate hearings were five decades ago!

Seven Hours Of Donald Trump Phone Log Of January 6 Insurrection Missing

THe House January 6, 2021 US Capitol Insurrection investigation continues, and it has been discovered that there is a gap of seven hours of the Donald Trump White House Phone Log on that day.

It is known that Trump spoke to Vice President Mike Pence; Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville; and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, and clearly there were other phone calls back and forth between Trump and many Republicans.

The committee is pursuing the gaining of information about these phone calls, as they are crucial to understanding Donald Trump’s reaction to the events of January 6 at the US Capitol.

Jared Kushner, the son in law of Trump, married to Ivanka Trump, will be questioned by the committee on Wednesday, and it will be interesting to see what comes from this, since the daughter of the President was in the White House on that day, although Kushner was not in Washington, DC but certainly knows what transpired through his wife. The odds are not much will be gained from the interview, but we shall see.

The former President has been working to prevent disclosure of his words and actions on that fateful day, but it is hoped evidence can be gathered to insure that Trump is prosecuted for his treasonous and seditious actions on January 6!

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas: Time To Recuse Himself In January 6 Cases, Or Retire Or Face Impeachment!

Associate Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has been controversial since his appointment by President George H.W. Bush in 1991.

Accused of sexual harrassment by Anita Hill, Thomas made it his mission upon close confirmation to attack everything liberal and decent ever since, and has been the most extreme member of the Court for three decades!

And his wife, Ginni Thomas, has been an open champion of right wing politics ever since on her own, and has put her husband into many conflicts of interest.

But now, we are learning that Ginni Thomas promoted the January 6 Insurrection, and her husband is not cooperating in allowing evidence of such conspiring by a multutude of Donald Trump appointees to be submitted to the House committee investigating the events of that tragic day, although thankfully, the rest of the Court has moved forward in that regard, ignoring Donald Trump attempting to cover it up.

Thomas shoiuld retire, or face impeachment, as he is clearly the most corrupt Supreme Court Justice in modern time, or at the last, recuse himself from all cases involving the January 6 Insurrection.

And his wife should be held accountable for her actions on that day!

The List Of Investigations And Lawsuits Facing Donald Trump In 2022

Donald Trump is facing multiple lawsuits and investigations, so he cannot have any sense of peace, but all this torment totally justified!

The House of Representatives January 6 Committee is deeply involved in proving Trump’s involvement and guilt in the horrendous January 6 Insurrection.

Lawsuits by many US Capitol Police and Democratic lawmakers are also moving forward.

White House documents illegaly taken to Trump’s estate at Mar a Lago, and many ripped up or flushed down toilets is a scandal in itself.

The interference by Donald Trump in the Georgia 2020 Election results is a major issue that is being pursued.

The issue of fake Electors in Michigan is another scandal being pursued.

The Trump Organization manipulation in New York of property values is a major criminal case by the New York Attorney General, but also the Manhattan District Attorney.

Also, Mary Trump, the niece of Trump, is pursuing the corrupt family settlement of twenty years ago that denied Mary Trump much of her entitled inheritance.

Trump has a rape suit brought against him by E. Jeanne Carroll that is in process.

And finally, there is the Michael Cohen lawsuit about his being put in solitary to prevent him, a former Trump personal attorney, from revealing the widespread corruption in the Trump Organization that he was engaged in and witnessed first hand.

Newt Gingrich Threatens Jail For January 6 Committee Members For Investigation Into Insurrection!

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich has created controversy by stating that the members of the January 6 House Committee, investigating the US Capitol Insurrection, will face jail time when and if the Republican Party gains control of the House of Representatives in the 2022 Midterm Congressional Elections this November!

This is a stunning statement, as what is being done by the January 6 House Committee is perfectly legitimate, as the events of January 6 were a breakdown of law and order, an illegal act of violence, sedition, and treason by all who participated in that tragic event, or encouraged it by their words and actions!

Gingrich is well known for corruption and scandal during his years in the House of Representatives, and is a loose cannon who craves attention, since he is no longer a factor in the Congress, and hardly noticed on the political scene.

This craziness only adds to the image of a man who has an historical record of negativism that no sane person would wish as his legacy!

He can be held responsible for the decline in civility in American politics, that began in the mid 1990s, and was utilized by Donald Trump!

The investigation and accountability of Donald Trump is moving ahead in multiple locations.

In Georgia, the move is on to form a special grand jury to pursue Trump on his interference with the Georgia Secretary of State, trying to have 11,780 votes found that would win that state for Trump, rather than Joe Biden, who won by 11,779 votes. The phone call between Brad Raffensperger and Donald Trump is clearcut evidence of illegal tampering.

In New York State, and New York City,Trump and his family are being investigated for tax fraud about his properties, and NY Attorney General Letitia James is on the case full time.

With evidence of attempts to send alternative slates of electors for Trump in states Biden won, we are having legal action in Michigan, Arizona, and five other states moving forward.

With the Supreme Court allowing Trump documents from January 6, 2021 to go to the House January 6 Committee (Trump V Thompson), we are learning about all kinds of illegal actions and conspiracies by Trump, his family, and close associates. The House Committee is getting ready to take action against Trump conspirators and the President and his family members as well, holding them accountable for the attack on the US Capitol on January 6.
