A New Excuse For The January 6, 2021 US Capitol Insurrection: “Foxitus” Or “Foxmania”!

As more insurrectionists who engaged in the US Capitol Attack on January 6, 2021 are arrested and facing court dates while in prison, a new defense for their seditionist behavior is emerging.

Now the claim is that they were manipulated by the influence of Fox News Channel—what is being called “Foxitus” or “Foxmania”.

This is laughable as it demonstrates their ignorance and demonstrates how easily manipulated they are by lies and conspiracy theories.

It also shows how Fox News Channel, and also OANN (One America News Network) and Newsmax TV, and a multitude of other right wing websites poison the atmosphere and lie incessantly about the truth regarding the Presidential Election of 2020, promoting the “Big Lie” that Donald Trump won.

However, ignorance and prejudice is no excuse, and all of the insurrectionists should be prosecuted and sentenced to ten years or more in prison as traitors to America and its democracy!

Republicans Will Rue Continuing Loyalty To Donald Trump, As It Will Destroy Their Party!

The Republican Party is in its death knells, and seems not to realize it.

The continuing loyalty of many sycophantic Republicans to a man who lost the popular vote massively two times, who was impeached twice, and had the only bipartisan impeachment in American history, is stunning.

The Republicans lost control of the House of Representatives in 2018 during the Presidency of Donald Trump, and then lost the Senate in 2020-2021, and lost five states Trump won in 2016—Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona.

139 House members and 8 Senators in the party voted to refuse to accept the victory of President Joe Biden in the Presidential Election of 2020, and in effect, incited and encouraged the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, causing the death of five people, including Capitol police officers.

And these traitors, seditionists, white supremacists, racists, nativists, misogynists continue to undermine American democracy, the Constitution, and the rule of law four months later, and insist on promoting the “Big Lie” that Donald Trump won, and they refuse to accept the truth of Russian collusion in the Presidential Election of 2016.

They continue to back a Fascist authoritarian who has no interest in issues facing the nation, as a result of his failure to deal with the COVID 19 Crisis, and still has one third of the nation defying science, and promoting lawlessness, violence, and repudiation of common sense and facts!

There is a movement developing among responsible conservatives, including former office holders, some courageous members of Congress, and conservative spokesmen, who understand that Donald Trump and his extremist right wing movement is poisoning the atmosphere, promoting division and hatred, and threatening the political, economic, and social stability of the nation as it faces a multitude of challenges, both domestic and foreign.

So the “crazy” Trump followers in the Republican Party will rue the day they gave their loyalty to the madman in Mar A Lago, as it is in process of being destroyed!

“War” Between House Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy And Congresswoman Liz Cheney

The split in the House Republican minority after the January 6 Capitol Insurrection is widening, as a small band of House Republicans, led by Congresswoman Liz Cheney of Wyoming, daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, continues to denounce Donald Trump and criticize House Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California for refusing to separate himself and the majority of the Republican House Caucus from continued support of the former President.

One must realize that 139 of the 212 Republicans in the House of Representatives refused to support the Electoral College vote of January 6, certifying the victory of Joe Biden over Donald Trump, and they are still remaining loyal to Trump, as he ponders running again for President in 2024.

They are traitors, seditionists, white supremacists, and domestic terrorists, who try to make what happened with the Capitol Insurrection seemingly nothing much at all, and Liz Cheney and about ten others have defied McCarthy, and Cheney is raising the ante, and McCarthy is working to undermine her third ranking position as Republican Conference Chairperson.

The future of the Republican Party and its reputation is at state, and it looks likely that the party as we know it is doomed in its future!

Senator Josh Hawley Of Missouri Making His Mark As Worse Than Even Ted Cruz And Tom Cotton!

Missouri Republican Senator Josh Hawley, second youngest Senator, and only in his third year in the US Senate, is making quite a name for himself, but all in a negative fashion!

He is one of the villains who incited the January 6 Capitol Insurrection, refusing to accept the victory of Joe Biden over Donald Trump, and even after the insurrection, refusing to accept reality.

He has lost the support of his mentor, former Missouri Republican Senator John Danforth, who once admired him and saw great promise for the young man, but has now repudiated him totally.

Missouri has had a number of distinguished Senators in its past, including:

Harry Truman
Stuart Symington
Thomas Eagleton
John Danforth
Claire McCaskill

Josh Hawley has the gall to be the only Senator to vote against an Anti Asian Discrimination Bill, beyond understanding!

Even Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton, and others who are equally despicable in so many ways, ALL voted for this legislation!

Josh Hawley wants to be President, as much as Cruz, Cotton, and other disgraceful Republican Senators, but there is NO rationale for being the lone vote against a basic Civil Rights bill!

The aim must be to insure Josh Hawley goes nowhere in the Presidential competition and is prosecuted for treason and sedition for his involvement in the Capitol Insurrection, and end up forced out of the Senate and into a prison cell!

Mike Pence A Sycophant With No Presidential Future

Former Vice President Mike Pence is a sycophant, unwilling to challenge Donald Trump in his four years in the Oval Office, and unwilling to condemn Donald Trump for failure to protect him at the time of the Capitol Insurrection on January 6, 2021.

Trump did not give a damn about Pence, who could have been killed by the Insurrectionists that stormed the US Capitol, and did not contact him for five days after the horrid events of January 6.

Trump has continued to criticize Pence for refusal to stop the Electoral College vote that showed Joe Biden having won the Presidential Election of 2020.

Pence was doing his constitutional duty, and for that, he should be commended, but beyond that, there is no way that Mike Pence has a Presidential future.

Knowing that his wife was disgusted by the behavior of Trump during the Presidential Election campaign of 2016, and was unhappy that her husband was going to be his Vice President, one wonders how Pence has not openly criticized and condemned the treason and sedition encouraged by Trump.

The man has no ethics, morals, scruples, or common decency, not only regarding the situation that he faced working under Trump, but also willing to sell his soul to try to become President in 2024.

But with his hypocritical views regarding his “good Christian” image, where he promotes hate and division, Pence has zero chance of becoming the Republican Presidential nominee in 2024 and beyond.

Pence will go down as one of the worst Vice Presidents in modern history, with narrow minded and bigoted views on so many issues, and could never unite the nation.

So Mike Pence will not stand out in American history as other recent Vice Presidents have, and will be a footnote in American history!

Republicans Are Outrageous In What They Do NOT Care About!

The Republican Party of 2021 is not offended by the destruction of the environment that has been going on in the past four years under Donald Trump.

They are not offended by the growth of childhood poverty due to the COVID 19 Pandemic and the economic collapse of the past year.

They are not offended by white supremacists carrying the Confederate flag into the US Capitol on the day of the Insurrection, January 6, 2021.

They are not offended by the loss of life to gun violence.

They are not offended by the reality of African Americans being killed by the police so often, and without consequences.

They are not offended by the dangers that members of Congress faced, along with the sitting Vice President Mike Pence, as a result of the traitors and seditionists who saw to bring harm to the Capitol Building on January 6, 2021.

They are not offended by the racism, nativism, misogyny, and homophobia of so many Republican members of Congress, as well as former President Donald Trump.

They are not offended by the inability of tens of millions of Americans to have a living wage, an increase in the minimum wage, while the top few percent of the nation keeps on gaining obscene levels of wealth.

These Republicans, who dominate the party, have no ethics, morals, scruples, conscience, common decency, compassion, empathy, or a sense of justice!

The 2021 Republican Party Is The Democratic Party Of 1861

It has been 160 years since the outbreak of the Civil War.

The Democratic Party of 1861 was the party of secession, treason, sedition, and white supremacy.

The Republican Party was the party of the Union, and promotion of anti slavery expansion, and many of them were also anti slavery, promoting human rights and democracy.

Now, the Republican Party is the party of secession, treason, sedition, and white supremacy.

And the Democratic Party is the party of promotion of human rights and democracy.

This complete reversal, and the concept of the Republican Party fighting to prevent demographic change, and accept that America will be a multi racial society with a white population minority in 2045, is truly shocking!

It weakens the nation as it faces so many challenges internally, and in foreign policy!

Attorney General Merrick Garland Confirmed; Now Time For Prosecutions Of January 6 Traitors In Congress!

Attorney General Merrick Garland was finally confirmed today by a vote of 70-30 in the Senate.

It is now time for prosecutions of the January 6 Capitol Attack Conspirators, not only the men and women who stormed the building and threatened members of Congress, but also those traitors in Congress who promoted and encouraged the seditionist actions.

This includes the Senators and Congressmen who refused to support the Electoral College results, and those who took some of the people involved in the insurrection on tours of the building a day or two before.

The evidence is strong against Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, Madison Cawthorn, Paul Gosar, Jim Jordan, Mo Brooks and others in the House, and against Josh Hawley, Ted Cruz, and six other Senators. Also, House Republican leaders, including Kevin McCarthy and Steve Scalise and others need to be held accountable!

It is time for them to pay the price for their treasonous actions, and they all need the full prosecution and punishment that they deserve!

Biden Justice Department Needs To Prosecute Traitors In Congress Who Promoted Insurrection!

Once Merrick Garland is confirmed as Attorney General of the United States, which should happen next week, it is essential for the department to prosecute traitors in Congress who promoted insurrection on January 6, 2021, with emphasis on the “ring leaders”, Missouri Senator Josh Hawley and Texas Senator Ted Cruz, along with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California and House Minority Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana.

In theory, all of the 139 House Republican members, about two thirds of the total Republican contingent in that chamber, and all 8 of the US Senators, who refused to authorize the election of Joe Biden even after the Capitol Insurrection, should be expelled and prosecuted, but the leaders of the Sedition are more likely to be pursued, as the instigators of the treason!

And the people around Donald Trump, including the former President, also need to be held accountable, so that this domestic terrorism is stopped dead in its tracks!

And every single American who stormed the Capitol and can be identified, needs to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law as well!

Ted Cruz Is A Monster, The Most Wretched Public Figure Outside Of Donald Trump!

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas is a monster, whose face and demeanor create the image of him being the Devil Incarnate!

Cruz is disliked by all his Senate colleagues, and he has no shame, or ethics, or morals, or principles!

Cruz is only interested in his own advancement, having no regard for anyone else, and allowed Donald Trump to call his wife ugly, and his father as involved in the Kennedy assassination, and yet go to dinner at the White House with his wife.

Now he was blaming his daughters for his decision to escape the horrible Texas Freeze which has led to a massive disaster for millions of people, and to run off to Cancun, Mexico, and only return hurriedly when he realized how horrible an image he had created for himself.

But he has no conscience, and even lies about his behavior in the midst of the Texas Freeze.

He also was one of the two culprits in the Senate, along with Missouri Senator Josh Hawley, to inspire the Capitol Hill Insurrection by their unjustified challenge to Joe Biden’s Electoral College win on January 6, 2021.

By all sense of justice, both Cruz and Hawley should be prosecuted for treason and sedition, and serve time in prison, and also be first expelled from the US Senate.

In 2016, this author and blogger thought Cruz was more dangerous than Donald Trump, and now Donald Trump is the only more wretched public figure in 2021 than Ted Cruz, although there is a long list of political leaders who are competitive as being worse than anyone except Cruz and Trump!
