Any decent journalist would NOT work for Fox News Channel, which preaches lies, mistruths, misinformation, and promotes sedition and treason after the January 6, 2021 Insurrection at the US Capitol, inspired by Donald Trump!

Fox News Channel has anchors in the evening who are truly massive liars and deceivers, including Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, and Laura Ingraham, all of whom are vaccinated but do not promote vaccination and masks!

All of these individuals were concerned and alarmed by January 6, and we know they tried to contact Donald Trump, but now they ignore reality and facts, and inspire the Republican Party in its self destruction!

All of these individuals denounce people of principle, who are strongly conservative, such as Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger and the small band of Republicans who believe in the rule of law and the Constitution, and want Donald Trump and his minions held accountable!

Fox News Channel promotes fear, ignorance, and hate; sees the world as simple and black and white; distrusts science and education; supports government by the wealthiest, with no concern for the poor and middle classes; and endorses religion in schools and government, rather than the basic constitutional principle of separation of church and state!

Fox News Channel has become the “Bible” for a majority of people best defined as white supremacists, antisemites, Islamophobes, nativists, misogynists, and homophobes!

The poisonous nature of Fox News Channel, and also One America News Network (OANN) and Newsmax TV, which are even worse, imagine that, helps deaden the brain of common sense and common decency!

Assessment Of Biden’s First Year: A Lot Accomplished With A 50-50 Senate!

Conservative journalist David Frum, who worked in the George W. Bush Administration, makes clear that Joe Biden has accomplished a great deal in his first year in office with a 50-50 Senate, more accomplished than even Barack Obama with a 57 member Democratic Senate in 2009!

But the naysayers are at work, claiming the Biden Presidency has not been a success, due to the COVID 19 Pandemic, inflation, and Afghanistan.

That is preposterous, as if Donald Trump had been in office, for certain the first and third issues would have been no different, and the second one would have occurred no matter what was done!

Trump had misled and botched up the COVID 19 Pandemic, and regarding Afghanistan, had made an agreement with the Taliban with no Afghanistan governement involvement in 2020, to withdraw from that nation in May, not August 2021!

Inflation happens in cycles, and under Ronald Reagan it was a major issue in 1982 midterms but was resolved by 1984 when Reagan ran for reelection.

The hope is that the same will occur in the next year, and will not be as big an issue as it is presently!

President Joe Biden After One Year: A Grade Of B!

Nearly one year has passed since the inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th President of the United States.

After one year, an honest assessment would give Biden a B grade, due to the incomplete nature of his agenda, but with hope for further progress in 2022, despite nearly united Republican Party opposition.

What has the Biden Presidency accomplished?

!. The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, a $1.9 trillion economic stimulus bill, in the midst of the COVID 19 Pandemic
2. The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, promoting massive efforts to deal with physical infrastructure projects that are sorely needed.
3. Accomplishing the vaccinations of 61.7 percent of the American people to deal with the COVID 19 Pandemic.
4. The appointment and confirmation of 40 federal judges in his first year, despite Republican Party opposition, the most such appointments in the first year of a Presidency since Ronald Reagan’s first year 40 years ago.
5. Major progress on promotion of the environment and conservation, including canceling oil and gas leases and emphazing the climate agenda to fight global warming and climate change.
6. Promotion of people of varying backgrounds in Presidential appointments in all areas of government, including his Cabinet members and other positions of authority and influence.
7.Lowering of unemployment to 4.2 percent, while more than 6 million jobs have been created, an all time high for the first year of a Presidency.
8. Restoring good relations with our allies, including the NATO nations, and Pacific partners.
9. Bringing back dignity and class to the White House, including the First Lady, and the President’s own character, which includes compassion, decency, empathy, and sincerity.
10. Promoting massive social reform regarding children, the elderly, immigration, criminal justice, women’s rights, gay rights, protection of voting rights, and health care advancement, all this in limbo at the moment, but hopefully much of it accomplished in 2022!
11. Standing up for human rights and against authoritarianism worldwide.
12. Making clear that a thorough investigation and accountability for the January 6, 2021 Insurrection is a priority in 2022.

There is so much more that could be listed, but it is clear Joe Biden has had a moderately successful first year, and that the potential for a rise from a B grade is very likely in 2022!

Vicious, Unwarranted Attacks On A Great Man, Dr. Anthony Fauci!

Fox News Channel host Jesse Watters has issued a call for threats on Dr. Anthony Fauci, calling for him to be “ambushed” with a “kill shot”! He spoke at a right wing conference (Turning Point USA) over the weekend, stirring the crowd with ridiculous, unfounded conspiracy theories about Fauci being involved in a Chinese lab that purportedly produced the COVID 19 Pandemic. Watters also talked about filming any confrontations with Fauci, and puts the brilliant doctor under growing death threats!

This is symbolism that could inspire crazy right wing conspiracy theorists to promote an assassination threat, with Fauci already needing security!

No media figure should ever threaten the lives of public figures without being prosecuted, and Fauci has called for the firing of Jesse Watters, but Fox News Channel, predictably, has defended him!

When a person issues a threat that is a “clear and present danger”, he or she should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, as “freedom of speech” has its limits, when it presents a danger to others!

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Besmirches The Name Of His Father And The Kennedy Family As An Antivaxxer!

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, the namesake of his father, former Attorney General and New York Senator Robert F. Kennedy, who was tragically assassinated in June 1968 while seeking the Democratic Presidential nomination, has besmirched the name and legacy of his father and the entire Kennedy family!

The younger Kennedy has become the most prominent anti vaxxer, promoting false and misleading statements about the COVID 19 Pandemic, and therefore has blood on his hands, as his name carries undeserved weight!

He had been an environmental lawyer and author of two best selling books, but has manipulated his prominence as he argues against all vaccines, claiming they cause autism, with absolutely no scientific basis to his assertions.

His advocacy of conspiracy theories has undermined the good works and beliefs that any liberal or progressive would be proud of, and it is sad, and troubling, that he has allowed himself to become a villain in a time of national crisis!

TIME Magazine “Person Of The Year” Should NOT Be Elon Musk, Rather Capitol Hill Police Officer Eugene Goodman!

It is a total disgrace that TIME Magazine chose to name Billionaire Elon Musk, the wealthiest person on earth, as “Person of the Year”, even considering his business activities at Tesla Motors, SpaceX, and other activities as being significant!

The man is totally greedy, an arrogant plutocrat, who has not paid a fair share of his wealth in taxes, and loves to brag!

Musk has also spread misinformation about the COVID 19 Pandemic, totally reprehensible!

Instead, the “Person of the Year” should be Capitol Hill African American Police Officer Eugene Goodman, who steered the mob that attacked the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 away from the US Senate chamber, and specifically saved Utah Senator Mitt Romney from being imminently attacked!

This is a true hero, who is a model for good and committed public service!

CNN And Chris Cuomo Vs. Fox News Channel And Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity!

Cable News is in crisis, although one would not think so at Fox News Channel, while fully realistic of that fact at CNN.

Both cable news media corporations, as well as MSNBC, are far from perfect, but at least the culture around CNN is to take action when anchors at those channels become involved in “scandals” of one sort or another.

So CNN has fired Chris Cuomo, the highest ranked anchor, and brother of former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who resigned in August in the midst of a sex scandal, due to his brother Chris intervening to help his brother in unseemly ways.

On the other hand, Fox News Channel has consistently over the years refused to discipline or fire its top anchors in the evenings, despite their open nativism, racism, misogyny, Islamophobia, and homophobia, all of which should be grounds for termination!

So Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and Sean Hannity spew forth constant lies, propaganda, and support Donald Trump and the January 6 Insurrection and the “Big Lie”!

There is nothing too low and disgraceful expressed by these three anchors to incite hatred and division that is not ignored by their company’s leaders, and including bitter attacks on Dr. Anthony Fauci and the actions of the US government trying to deal with the fallout of the COVID 19 Pandemic!

No decent human being would act the way these three talk shows hosts behave, and yet millions upon millions of Americans believe Fox News Channel and its anchors are God personified, and their tactics could lead to the outbreak of bloodshed and violence yet again in America in the short term and long term future!

So yes, criticize CNN, but be thankful that they have displayed a level of ethics and accountablity, that one has never seen from Fox News Channel!

Republican Party Claims To Be Party Of Life, While It Is Instead Party Of Death!

The Republican Party has, clearly, become the Party of Death, as they show no concern about the COVID 19 Pandemic, and the need to promote masking and vaccination, as more than 750,000 Americans have died from the virus!

The Republican Party also worships guns, and has worked against any kind of gun regulations, despite mass murders going on in schools, churches and synagogues, entertainment events, shopping centers, colleges and universities,and all other public venues.

Additionally, suicides have become endemic, with no concern about people with mental instability, and even children, having access to firearms, including AK 47s and AR 15s!

Also, the Republican Party has no concern about the poverty and deprivation of people who are not wealthy, and particularly so with racial and religious minorities, so we have single mothers who cannot provide adequately for their children!

Republicans also have always been against providing health care to those less fortunate, which demonstrates they do not value life! As a group, they have opposed Medicare and the Affordable Care Act!

Their only interest in “life” is that every fetus must be born, even if the pregnant woman was raped, or a victim of incest, and there is no concern about the dangers to the life of the mother!

And of course, Republicans love the death penalty, even though it is often misused, and particularly against males of color on a much higher scale than whites!

And Republicans love to support wars, as long as it is primarily the poor and minorities who are “cannon fodder” for the “war machines”, and very few of them or their offspring ever serving in the military!

Republican “Crazies” Women, And Republican Fauci “Wacko” Male Critics= Downfall Of Republican Party!

The Republican Party in Congress is going crazier and wackier by the day, and it will lead to the downfall of the Republican Party!

Colorado Congresswoman Lauren Boebert makes an anti Islamic hate message toward Minnesota Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, is then attacked by a more sensible, although conservative, Republican Congresswoman, Nancy Mace of South Carolina, who then is attacked by the looniest of all, Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene!

Boebert and Greene are true trailer type trash, and will destroy the Republican Party with their antics!

Meanwhile Republican Senators Ted Cruz of Texas, Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Tom Cotton of Arkansasa, all past or would be future Presidential contenders, are on the war path against Dr. Anthony Fauci, accusing him of incompetence, when he has been the hero for science and medicine on the COVID 19 Pandemic! Utah Senator Mitt Romney has defended Fauci, while saying no one is perfect, and of course, Romney, having voted to convict Donald Trump in the second impeachment trial, is seen as a RINO (Republican in Name Only), similar to the two courageous House Members in the party, Liz Cheney of Wyoming and Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, who are working on the January 6 House Committee investigating the US Capitol Insurrection.

New Crisis Faces Joe Biden: COVID 19 Omicron Variant!

The nation is weary after nearly two years of the COVID 19 Pandemic, but now a new COVID 19 Variant named Omicron lurks on the horizon, a new crisis for Joe Biden.

With so much resistance from anti Vaccinators and anti Face Maskers, this new variant represents a potential massive threat to the American economy and public health!

The Omicron Variant is being watched closely, but already, the World Health Organization has expressed its alarm and concern, and the US is limiting travel from eight countries—South Africa and other African nations surrounding or near that nation.

The stock market and oil prices have already plunged in response, so it will have a likely effect of cutting travel among Americans who only wish to go back to “normal”. But now, there has to be caution yet again, as 800,000 Americans have died in this COVID 19 Pandemic, nearly two years old!
