Ouster Of Kristi Noem Satisfying, But Markwayne Mullin As Replacement Is Not An Improvement!

Finally, after a full year of a massive nightmare, the leadership of Kristi Noem as Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Donald Trump has dismissed her, without even giving her warning ahead of time.

Noem should be prosecuted for her uncaring, abusive leadership of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), which is part of her department.

But the truth is that Donald Trump is ultimately responsible for the ICE abuses against American citizens, legal immigrants, and even undocumented immigrants, which has led to the deaths of Rene Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, plus the massive abuses, including some deaths, at detention facilities, and the horrendous tactics utilized by ICE all over America.

So the fact that Noem is gone is not satisfying, as her proposed replacement is Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin, who has made a reputation of being a lunatic in his utterances, and no better than Noem in his agreement with ICE tactics that have outraged all those who believe in the Bill of Rights.

Mullin has been labeled “the dumbest Senator” by many, and embarrassed himself by his threats to engage in a physical brawl with the President of the Teamsters Union, Sean O’Brien, at a hearing, causing Senator Bernie Sanders to intervene, and call for civil behavior.

ICE needs to be massively reformed in its tactics, and Mullin must be pressed to agree that the outrageous mistreatment of people much like a secret police or Gestapo, has to end.

But the massive campaign against immigrants, and the racism that is so evident, most likely will not change, so Mullin will just be the “front person”, who will rapidly alienate the American people as Noem has done.

Trump’s Women Cabinet Members The Worst Combination EVER Of Any President!

There have been 72 Women Cabinet Officers since the first one, Secretary of Labor Frances Perkins (1933-1946) was appointed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt and continued in the early months of the Presidency of Harry Truman, therefore the longest serving woman Cabinet officer.

Some have been outstanding in their performance, with only the first two being appointed before 1975. Jimmy Carter was the first to have multiple women appointments. Bill Clinton was the first to have five such appointments, and George W. Bush had six, while Barack Obama had eight, which Donald Trump has matched between his first term and the first year of his second term.

Some have been really outstanding and exceptional, while many have been at least noncontroversial.

But Donald Trump, particularly in his second term, has three such Cabinet members who are outrageously horrific, arrogant, nasty, confrontational, divisive, and many other possible negative images.

These are:

Pam Bondi, Attorney General
Kristi Noem, Secretary of Health And Human Services
Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence

All three have caused outrage, and demands that they resign, be fired, or be impeached, a level of fury never seen before!

Bondi and Noem have appeared before committees in the House of Representatives and Senate, and have infuriated legislators, mostly Democrats, but also some Republicans, with their refusal to take responsibility for their blunders and errors.

The fact that Pam Bondi has NOT apologized to victims of Jeffrey Epstein, and has slow walked releasing many of the Epstein records; and Noem has refused to apologize for the horrific ICE murder of Rene Good and Alex Pretti in Minnesota, and labeling them “domestic terrorists”, has caused great outrage.

And Gabbard, as Director of National Intelligence, has been engaged in activities not her position, including interfering in yet another outrageous investigation of the Georgia vote in the Presidential Election of 2020, a sign of the desire of Donald Trump to interfere in the upcoming Midterm Elections of 2026 and the Presidential Election of 2028.

These women Cabinet Officers have no shame and no goal except to be total sycophants to Donald Trump, and all three should be forced out of office by resigning, being fired, or being impeached!

Persistent Detention Of Children By ICE A Growing Outrage In Public Opinion Polls!

Public Opinion is rapidly turning against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), after the outragous murders of Rene Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, but ever more by the persistent detention of children who are often used as pawns in the arrest of their parents, most of whom are not engaged in criminal activities.

The effect on children is so traumatizing, and will last a lifetime, and is interfering with and preventing education, most particularly in Minneapolis, but also elsewhere.

This includes the trauma visited upon educators who are witness to the abuses visited on their students on a daily basis, who are cowering in fear of being detained, and in many cases, are staying home and being denied a normal education.

This intolerable situation cannot continue much longer, without a major revolt by Americans, way beyond the demonstrations going on regularly around the nation.

ICE needs to have its budget cut dramatically, with Democrats doing whatever has to be done to affect change.

The treatment of children in particular, but really, of all those pursued and detained, a vast majority not criminal elements, must be made to improve dramatically.

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul Courageously Critical Of Trump Domestic And Foreign Policies

Anyone who has read my blog over the past 17 plus year since August 2008 know I am not a fan of Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul.

His father, former Congressman Ron Paul, was also not someone I would endorse.

Both Pauls were and are “libertarians”, which is a viewpoint I totally disagree with on principle.

When Rand Paul contended for the Presidency in 2016, it was made clear by this author and blogger that the thought of him in the White House was horrifying.

However, in the present, Rand Paul has taken stands that this author and blogger can agree with.

Paul has been a critic of the invasion and overthrow of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro, particularly in regard to the Trump Administration and Secretary of State Marco Rubio not informing Congress under the War Powers Act of 1973.

Also, Paul has been a critic of the tactics and actions of ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), and has been concerned about the damage to civil liberties and the Bill of Rights. He is calling for testimony before the Senate Homeland Security Committee, for which he is the Chairman, by the heads of ICE and Customs and Border Protection, in February, in the light of the murder of Alex Pretti and Rene Good in Minneapolis in January.

Paul has been willing to go against Donald Trump openly, more than almost any other Republican Senator, except for Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski and soon retiring North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis.

So as a Senator with true beliefs, and an element of courage, it is appropriate that Rand Paul be saluted for behaving in a proper, principled manner on these issues, while this author and blogger reserves the right to be critical of Paul on other matters.

Massive Demonstrations All Over America After Alex Pretti Murder By ICE In Minneapolis!

The tragic murder of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis last Saturday by multiple ICE agents has led to massive demonstrations all over America.

The fact that there are multiple videos of the tragic event, taken by bystanders, has had the effect of neutralizing the arguments of the Trump Administration that this nurse, and also Rene Good a few weeks ago, were “domestic terrorists”, as claimed by Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller, and others.

It has also led, finally, to some Republicans in Congress expressing the need for a change in policy and actions by ICE, while many Democrats and the American people want ICE dramatically changed or eliminated, although the latter clearly will not occur.

A move is being made to stop funding for ICE by Senate Democrats, and hopefully, it will start a massive change in the ability of the agency to continue its dirty deeds.

Another government shutdown may occur on Friday, as the Trump Presidency is finally on its heels, as public opinion ratings collapse.

Murder Of Alex Pretti By ICE Agents Escalates Threat To All Americans By Unregulated Gestapo Type Thugs!

The murder of ICU Nurse Alex Pretti in Minneapolis by a group of six Gestapo type ICE Thugs on Saturday January 24, the second murder in January in that city (after Rene Good), is a call to arms by all decent people.

The need for resistance to the authoritarian dictatorship being perpetrated by Donald Trump, Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem, and a multitude of other criminals, has been escalated in a very dangerous fashion.

All those Americans who care about civil liberties, American democracy, and the rule of law face a ringing alarm bell that the movement toward white Christian supremacy and Fascist dictatorship is in full swing.

This is a time of a sense of desperation and hopelessness, but at the same time, Donald Trump’s public opinion ratings have plummeted.

In just the first month of 2026, Trump’s administration, in both domestic and foreign policy, has put America into an abyss, where the protection and safety of all Americans is in dire danger.
