Damage Done By DOGE Massive As Elon Musk Leaves!

The unofficial “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE),operated by Elon Musk for the past four months, has done massive damage to the federal government, and to tens of thousands, if not more, federal employees, who have lost their employment for no essential reason!

What Donald Trump has perpetrated is to undermine the safety and security of America, and its position in the international community.

Chaos and anarchy have ruled over common sense consideration of reforms.

DOGE has done long term damage, including destruction of many government agencies, including among others, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Agency for International Development, and the Department of Education.

At the same time, it has undermined every government agency and department without concern for the employees and for the effect on Americans, who are learning how unreliable and unstable the federal government has become.

When one has to worry about the harm to American public health agencies, and the dangers to the environment, to aviation safety, to labor protections, to civil rights laws, and to innumerable other public agencies and enforcement, it makes any decent American stunned and shocked!

Elon Musk may be officially no longer working for Donald Trump, but the damage he has wrought will live on for a very long time!

The First Hundred Days of Donald Trump, Second Term, is coming up on Wednesday, April 30.

The nation and the world have seen the most revolutionary, radical set of actions and statements by Donald Trump that the nation has ever witnessed.

One would have thought that Franklin D. Roosevelt’s First Hundred Days of the “New Deal” from March 4, 1933 to mid June 1933 would be a marker that would never be matched.

But Donald Trump has far surpassed the impact of FDR, and in many ways, trying to wipe out most of the last century and more of the federal regulatory state and the leadership of the democratic world in international relations.

Trump has demonstrated that Presidential power is way out of line, a growing problem since FDR onward, but with most occupants of the White House having good intentions in their assertion of power, unlike Trump.

The massive use of executive orders, 137 so far, an all time record for such a short time as President;

the threats and actions against universities, law firms, cultural institutions, corporations, state governments;

the bypassing of judicial interventions;

the Republican party in Congress refusing to assert their authority;

the growing dictatorial attitude of Trump appointees inside and outside the Cabinet;

the repudiation of our traditional alliances in world affairs;

the dangerous flirtation with protective tariffs that undermines the American economy;

the clearcut corruption and grift being conducted in clear vision;

and so much more not listed here,

all have created a whirlwind of chaos and anarchy that affects all Americans in deleterious ways!

Seditionists In Republican Caucus In Charge In The House Of Representatives In The 118th Congress!

A sad, tragic, and threatening circumstance now is reality!

The Republican controlled House of Representatives in the 118th Congress has become the property of seditionists and traitors, those who promoted “Election Denial” and the US Capitol Insurrection of January 6, 2021!

Extremists, led by Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia; Lauren Boebert of Colorado; Matt Gaetz of Florida; Paul Gosar of Arizona; Scott Perry of Pennsylvania; Jim Jordan of Ohio; James Comer of Kentucky; and others has been given power and membership on committees that will now be out to wipe out the truth and the investigation completed by the January 6 House Committee!

And any one of them could call for a vote at any time to dislodge Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, who has sold his soul, ethics, morals, and principles in order to accomplish his lifelong goal to be Speaker!

Chaos and anarchy are ahead of us, and sham investigations and supposed scandals will be the center of attention, without any real conclusions that are truthful, only designed to divide America further, without regard as to the effect on average Americans!

And the likelihood of a financial crisis over the debt limit will cause great turmoil and suffering, totally reckless and unnecessary!

Present Estimate of 220-215 Republican Control Of House Of Representatives!

As I write this entry, the estimate is that the Republican Party may have control of the US House of Representatives by the razor thin margin of 220-215, a three seat edge!

And if that occurs, or even a few more Republican seats are added, the reason it will have happened is the loss of four New York State congressional districts due to court intervention preventing a Democratic reapportionment set up, and the power play by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who promoted a more extreme plan for congressional district reapportionment, creating a four seat gain in the Sunshine State!

It is clear that IF the Republicans do gain control, by whatever small margin of seats, that chaos and anarchy will rule, and nothing productive will be done in the next two years!

Kevin McCarthy also is on a scenario where if he is Speaker of the House, with the power of the House Republican Freedom Caucus, he might wish he was NOT Speaker of the House!

Donald Trump Loves Chaos And Anarchy: A Guarantee Of His Failure And Downfall

Donald Trump loves chaos and anarchy, which is a guarantee of his failure and ultimate downfall.

In just 13 and a half months, he has had more staff resign or be fired than any other President, now nearly doubling the turnover of any of the last four Presidents.

At the same time, many positions have not been filled that are crucial for the smooth operating of the American government.

And clearly, Donald Trump is more mercurial and temperamental a Chief Executive than any President, clearly even more than Andrew Johnson and Richard Nixon, both known for their mental instability, but neither on the level of Trump.

The Andrew Johnson and Richard Nixon Presidencies were centers of constant stress and turmoil, but not on the level we are now experiencing.

The one lucky thing about these 13 and a half months is that there has, thankfully, been no major crisis to test the ability of Donald Trump to do his job, no turning point that every President eventually faces.

When that time and situation arises, we will not be ready as a nation to deal with it, and we only have to hope and pray that we will be able to deal with it in a manner that will not cause long term damage, but honestly, pessimism is the more realistic view to have, rather than optimism.
