The First Hundred Days Of Trump Second Term More Revolutionary Than FDR!

The First Hundred Days of Donald Trump, Second Term, is coming up on Wednesday, April 30.

The nation and the world have seen the most revolutionary, radical set of actions and statements by Donald Trump that the nation has ever witnessed.

One would have thought that Franklin D. Roosevelt’s First Hundred Days of the “New Deal” from March 4, 1933 to mid June 1933 would be a marker that would never be matched.

But Donald Trump has far surpassed the impact of FDR, and in many ways, trying to wipe out most of the last century and more of the federal regulatory state and the leadership of the democratic world in international relations.

Trump has demonstrated that Presidential power is way out of line, a growing problem since FDR onward, but with most occupants of the White House having good intentions in their assertion of power, unlike Trump.

The massive use of executive orders, 137 so far, an all time record for such a short time as President;

the threats and actions against universities, law firms, cultural institutions, corporations, state governments;

the bypassing of judicial interventions;

the Republican party in Congress refusing to assert their authority;

the growing dictatorial attitude of Trump appointees inside and outside the Cabinet;

the repudiation of our traditional alliances in world affairs;

the dangerous flirtation with protective tariffs that undermines the American economy;

the clearcut corruption and grift being conducted in clear vision;

and so much more not listed here,

all have created a whirlwind of chaos and anarchy that affects all Americans in deleterious ways!

    He’s having a meltdown about the polls.

    He used his Truth Social platform to complain about two negative polls that came out late last week: one from The New York Times and Siena College, and the other from The Washington Post, ABC News and Ipsos.

    Both showed Trump’s popularity slipping further. As he reached his 100-day mark, Trump has the lowest approval ratings of any president in the past 80 years. The Times poll showed that, even among those who approve of the job he’s doing, a majority of voters agree the start of his second term has been “chaotic” and “scary.”

    “These people should be investigated for ELECTION FRAUD,” Trump wrote.

    He cited criticism from pollster John McLaughlin, who has worked for Trump for years and apparently called the new surveys “FAKE POLLS FROM FAKE NEWS ORGANIZATIONS.”

    Trump went on: “They are Negative Criminals who apologize to their subscribers and readers after I WIN ELECTIONS BIG, much bigger than their polls showed I would win, loose [sic] a lot of credibility, and then go on cheating and lying for the next cycle, only worse. They suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, and there is nothing that anyone, or anything, can do about it. THEY ARE SICK, almost only write negative stories about me no matter how well I am doing (99.9% at the Border, BEST NUMBER EVER!), AND ARE TRULY THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE!”

    That’s a blatant violation of what the Founders wanted, which was strict separation of church and state.

    So, Trump *is* defying the US Supreme Court now. Which means we ARE in a constitutional crisis, RIGHT NOW. Why isn’t everyone acting like it???

    Trump is making Mike Waltz the US ambassador to the United Nations. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will serve in the national security adviser role on an interim basis.

    Also, it sounds like Laura Loomer, a far-right activist, advised Trump to remove Mike Waltz from his national security role.

    So we had co-president Musk. Now we have co-president Laura Loomer??

  21. Princess Leia May 1, 2025 3:44 pm

    With this latest appointment, Rubio now has four rather large roles to manage: secretary of state, acting archivist of the United States, acting administrator for the U.S. Agency for International Development, and interim national security adviser.

    The Trump administration is cutting a billion dollars in school mental health funding. Their excuse for doing so is DEI.
