79 years ago, the historic dust storm that swept across the Great Plains all the way east, marking the Dust Bowl beginnings that plagued the middle of the nation during the 1930s, occurred, and it is ironic that on this horrible anniversary, it has now been revealed that the heat trapping gas level that last existed three million years ago, has reoccurred!
We are now in the midst of a massive environmental crisis worldwide, and yet, our government has to fight the science and environmental deniers, including moronic Senator James Inhofe of Oklahoma, who would rather threaten impeachment of President Obama than deal with the reality of the need to do something about the damage being done by our industries and mankind in general, to the future of human existence!
The carbon dioxide level is 41 percent higher since the Industrial Revolution. an alarming development. Of course, the US cannot solve the issue alone, and needs the backing of other nations, including China, but IF we are unwilling to do anything as the number one power in the world, then the future is gloomy indeed for the long range!

I want to pass on that the Koch Brothers funded their own Climate Change / Global Warming study. They hand picked their own Climatologist Scientologist and funded him $300k plus or minus.
Well as carbon has its own signature as to its origin, the climatologist concluded that there was indeed Global Warming and that it was in fact man made.
Of course this is not what the Koch Brothers wanted reality to be and did not make aware the findings from their own study. The criminal aspects as I see them are that the Koch Brothers know the real truth but this fact does not line their pockets for their short term profits and will continue to fund the Tea Party’s propaganda machine leading to their long term destruction to mankind.
I am also aware that the Global Community will not change their habits and the CO2 build up will keep on increasing causing another Man Made Disaster that will make the 30’s Dust Bowl pale in comparison.
We will destroy ourselves from our own greed and ignorance. It also does not help that there are those who propagate the misinformation against science fact.
It is sad Engineer that there are people who absolutely will not believe, or they know the truth but will not admit it because money is the bottom line. As long as they get whatever they want, the affect on the earth doesn’t matter to them. Look at our own Chesapeake Bay. It’s just about dead due to run off, chicken $#*t on every field and ending up in the bay, manufacturing dumping their sewage into the bay for years, it’s all finally destroyed what was beautiful.
