Donald Trump clearly wants a White Anglo Christian dominated America, like the one he and I grew up in during the 1950s and 1960s.
But that is a lost cause, due to the immigration laws passed under Lyndon B. Johnson in the 1960s, and the high birth rate among African Americans, Latino Americans, and Asian Americans.
The white population did not reproduce in large enough numbers, after the massive Baby Boom of 1946-1964, and also many young people have intermarried with people of different races and cultures, creating a large number of mixed race people.
Is this something to be upset about or concerned that it will change America?
The answer is CLEARLY NO, as diversity through marriage and immigration enriches America, and this blogger has never for a moment felt concern for the future by these demographic changes.
America is enriched by immigration and intermarriage, and the only threat is the alarm expressed by white supremacists and white nationalists who think a multiracial and multi religious America indicates a downturn in the future of America.
America is the greatest nation in the world, precisely because we are a nation of all nations, of all nationalities, of all religions, of all racial and cultural groups.
If Donald Trump wishes to unite America after Charlottesville, which he finally made a more acceptable statement condemning the Neo Nazis, and Ku Klux Klsn today at the White House, he must fire the Alt Right members of his administration as destructive forces.
Stephen Bannon, Stephen Miller, and Sebastian Gorka are all connected to the Alt Right, and they are working to undermine John Kelly, James Mattis, H. R. McMaster and Rex Tillerson, and there is no room in the administration for them.
One can be sure that Bannon will go on the attack against Trump if he is fired, but so be it, and efforts must be made to combat the Alt Right propaganda organ, Breitbart News Service.
If Trump does not move away from these hateful influences, it is time for the Republican Party to move toward impeachment, as we cannot allow white nationalists, white supremacists, Ku Klux Klan, Neo Nazis, and neo Confederates to run our government.
The Republican Party must move away from racism, nativism, antisemitism, and misognyny and NOW, not four years from now!
Statistics now show that any Presidential nominee from now on MUST win the majority of the Hispanic-Latino vote or lose the Presidency, which insures that Democrats will continue to win the Presidency until and when the Republican Party and its candidates stop attacking the issue of immigration, and accept that the white vote is simply not enough to win the White House. In 2016, it is estimated that to win the Presidency, Donald Trump would have to win 47 percent of the Hispanic-Latino vote, which means by 2020, it will be necessary to win the majority forever after.
George W. Bush won the Presidency with 35 and 40 percent of the vote, while John McCain won 31 percent and Mitt Romney won 27 percent and lost the Presidency.
The latest estimate is that Donald Trump is winning 19 percent of the vote, and that is before his vicious, nasty, hard line speech in Phoenix, which certainly lost him many more Hispanic and Latino votes.
The Hispanic and Latino vote, particularly the Mexicans and Puerto Ricans, are growing rapidly, and already in population, all Hispanics and Latinos are about one out of every six people in America.
And when you add in the Asian American vote and the African American vote, it is clear the Republican Party is doomed long term, as 73 percent of the former and 90 percent of the latter group voted Democratic for President in 2012, and that both numbers will probably go up for Hillary Clinton.
So allowing white nationalists and hate mongers like KKK former leader Davide Duke to be connected to Donald Trump only insures disastrous defeat for Donald Trump and any future GOP nominee who continued to promote nativism and racism.
