Imagine A President Trump Confronting Speaker Paul Ryan, The Intelligence Agencies, And The Military Hierarchy!

Imagine just for a minute a President Donald Trump and a Speaker Paul Ryan, and the constant clash they would be engaging in for ultimate control of domestic and economic policy!

Trump has no clue as to how Congress works, and he fails to understand that the Speaker of the House wields great power over anything that goes through the House of Representatives.

So be assured that Paul Ryan would not allow any kind of mass deportation of Muslims, or the building of a Mexico wall, along with many other ideas that Donald Trump has!

And be assured that the intelligence agencies and the military would never follow through on what a President Trump wanted to do in foreign and military policy, and this has already been made clear by people in the intelligence agencies and the military hierarchy! This includes David Petraeus, Michael Hayden, Leon Panetta and John Brennan, and many others!

President Dwight D. Eisenhower discovered that he could not “bark orders” and get things done, as had been true in the military!

Donald Trump would discover that he would be put in a “strait jacket” in both domestic and foreign policy, and the likelihood of an impeachment is likely, since he is a very dangerous man, with his ignorance and shortcomings in both domestic and foreign policy are massive.

The greatest danger would come from the “mob psychology” of the crowds who come to cheer him on, thinking they are at a football game or some such event.

But even scarier is the image of the Nuremberg rallies where Adolf Hitler spewed for this antisemitism and his belligerent war threats, as Trump’s “minions” are totally terrifying.

Trump represents an evil that must be overcome, and this idea of disillusioned voters staying home creates perfect conditions for a Trump victory, and an attempt at a Trump dictatorship, which would turn the American nation upside down and inside out, far worse than the threat of Richard Nixon!

Whatever happened to “making the Presidency an office of great power and promotion of reform” and “using executive orders to overcome Congressional recalcitrance”? What happened to “when Congress doesn’t act the President MUST act” and all this “I have a pen and phone” stuff? Obama and the Democrats have taught Trump well. If elected (and I hope he isn’t) he will just look at the laws he doesn’t like and will not uphold them or just uphold and enforce the parts he likes. He too will say “I have a pen and a phone”. He too will “act when Congress doesn’t”. He too will accuse Congress of “not letting him govern” and will issue edicts and say “go to the courts and catch me if you can” and by the time a judge decides anything his policies will be well in place. He can also by pass the Senate and call a Treaty an “Executive Agreement” or go even further and withdraw from a Treaty with a stroke of a “pen” declaring that the Treaty was actually and Executive Agreement. Ah yes , that pen is becoming famous isn’t it? After 8 yrs the power of the executive was greatly expanded and now it’s too late to go back. Just like Obama who with a stroke of a pen defied not only the letter of our federal immigration law but it’s intention and came up with DACA “deferring” action for “children” Trump can come up with IDAFIAA “Immediate Deportation Action For Illegal Alien Arrivals” and who will stop him? A judge? No you don’t understand! This is just part of the President’s prosecutorial discretion you see. Just like the President can decide to slow down or defer deportations by not applying the rules established by law he can decide to speed up deportation by not applying the rules established by law. But now all of a sudden Congress and the Speaker of the House yield great power and the Constitution suddenly is so important! Now Congress can actually stop a President! Now the President is actually in a “straight jacket” not only domestically but in FOREIGN POLICY??? So I guess if Trump is ever elected (and I really hope he isn’t) and decides have and Executive Agreement with the North Korean inbred it will be ok for Senators to send out letters in defiance of the President’s foreign policy correct? Or if we are supporting those Arabs that fight ISIS, a Democrat senator can go meet with those Islamo-facist nut-jobs just like John Kerry did when he met with the murderous commie Daniel Ortega while the Reagan administration was supporting the freedom fighting Contras. And finally I read that all of sudden the word “impeachment’ is popular again among Democrats. How things change in just a few months. I on the other hand am not changing my principles and following the mob. I will not vote for Trump, or Hillary. I will exercise my right to sit this one out and see how it goes. It’s not everyday that one gets to sit on her porch and watch the slow motion decline of a great Republic. Last time that happened Cesar was crossing the Rubicon…

I’ve had it up to here with right-wing trolls stupidly claiming that Obama is lawless!

I agree with you wholeheartedly, Princess Leia.

Obama is NOT lawless, but rather advancing freedom, liberty, and tolerance in a way that will be honored in history!

The right wing will be in the dustbin of history, as much as those who supported slavery and segregation; opposed women suffrage; fought against civil rights; and resisted labor rights and environmentalism!

I understand how you feel Leia. I find it very interesting that they were silent about War Criminal Bush and Darth Cheney.

Some Democrat friends of mine seem to “see the speck of sawdust in the others eye and pay no attention to the plank in their own eye”.

We’ll never be friends with Mercy and our eyes are perfectly clear.
