Glorification Of Donald Trump Must Be Resisted Now, And Reversed After He Leaves Office!

The destruction of the Rose Garden at the White House.

The elimination of the East Wing of the White House, and the plan for a White House Ballroom (90,000 Square Feet addition) larger than the remainder of the White House (55,000 Square Feet).

The renaming of the Kennedy Center as the Trump-Kennedy Center, and plans to shut it down for renovations for two years.

The plans for the creation of a Triumphal 250 foot high Arch, which would dwarf the Lincoln Memorial (100 feet) and the White House (70 feet), and likely be named after Donald Trump.

These radical changes are being perpetrated by a power hungry, aggrandizing President, who is out to destroy for his own personal ego.

The damage already done must be reversed after Donald Trump leaves office, leading to restoration of the White House to the historical building that existed before 2025, and the Kennedy Center to its original status.

Legal action must be taken against the building of a massive Arch, which is just to glorify Trump, but would destroy the traditional Washington DC that Americans know and love!

Donald Trump had his all time “worst” week, according to Chris Christie, former New Jersey Governor.

He demonstrated no empathy over the murder of Rob Reiner and his wife by their son, because Reiner was a sharp critic.

He changed the name of the Kennedy Center, named after the assassinated President, to the Trump-Kennedy Center.

He gave the most extreme, crazy, frenetic speech at the White House, full of lies and ranting about his so called “accomplishments”, and lying incessantly.

He changed the plaques of the Presidents that are in the Colonnade of the White House, adding nasty personal comments and inaccuracies about his most recent predecessors, Joe Biden, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton.

The disaster that is Donald Trump is becoming worse, more degraded weekly, a tragedy for America!

After taking a day off from commentary to celebrate my birthday, back to the horrors of the Trump Presidency, and its impact on the nation and the world!

A shocking series of interviews over a year between Donald Trump’s White House Chief of Staff, Suzie Wiles, and journalist Chris Whipple, reveals just how unstable Donald Trump is, and how his close advisers are also to be seen as dangerous to American domestic and foreign policy. Wiles tells us that Trump is “like an alcoholic” in behavior, even though Trump does not drink! Think about what that is saying about the man who has control of nuclear weapons!

This was followed by a lunatic speech by Donald Trump last night, full of lies and mistruths, truly a sign that Trump lives in his own reality, blaming everything on Joe Biden, and claiming the economy is in great shape, when all indications are just the opposite. He was yelling at the American people in his fast talking speech, blaming them for not believing what he says, according to public opinion polls.

And then, Trump has added nasty comments to portraits of the Presidents in the White House, focusing on Joe Biden, Barack Obama, and BIll Clinton, and has just had the personally selected Kennedy Center board rename it the Trump-Kennedy Center!

All these situations are further proof that the nation and the world are in great danger as long as bombastic narcissist Donald Trump sits in the White House, making lunatic statements, and being encouraged by his evil advisers, who do what they want, and he goes along, mostly out of ignorance and malice!

The Wiping Out Of History By Donald Trump: Museums And The White House! :(

President Donald Trump has declared war on History, attacking various museums and their exhibits, and destroying the East Wing of the White House without any input, consultation, or authorization by any agency or organization.

For someone like this historian and scholar, this is a very depressing situation!

Interference with museum exhibits at the National African American Museum and National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, DC, along with the National Museum of American History, National Gallery of Art, and all other Smithsonian Museums is an attempt to wipe out truth, and distort the reality of the American past.

The same situation affects all National Parks and Monuments, with “sanitizing” of the reality of these sites.

Additionally, interference with the Library Of Congress, and cultural institutions, such as the Kennedy Center For The Perfoming Arts, is infuriating!

Declaring war on “DEI”, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, is trying to repeal the 20th Century Civil Rights Movement, and reforms moving forward on race and gender, and instead working to impose white male dominance of all cultural institutions!

Trump Attack On The Smithsonian Institution, Library Of Congress, Copyright Office, Kennedy Center: An Attack On Truth And Facts Of American History And Culture!

Donald Trump has unleashed an attack on the Smithsonian Institution and its various museums, including the National African American Museum, the National Museum of the American Indian, the proposed National Women’s History Museum, and the proposed National Latino Museum in particular; on the Library of Congress, on the US Copyright Office; and on the Kennedy Center For Performing Arts.

This is endangering the quest for facts and truth regarding the American historical past, and on American culture at large.

It is also interfering with the separation of powers, with agencies that the Executive Branch should have no power over, and should not be able to fire their leadership, but Trump has gone ahead and done so, anyway! This is Executive Branch overreach to the extreme!

The nation is in a crisis over so many issues, but interference with these institutions is something that Congress MUST stop in its tracks, for the safety and survival of these crucial organizations!
