New Escalations On Freedom Of The Press And Voting Rights By Trump Administration!

Alarming new escalations on Freedom of the Press and Voting Rights are being promoted by Donald Trump and his Cabinet and other collaborators, with never a day going by that a new outrage is not being perpetrated.

Shocking news that Don Lemon, the former CNN anchor, has been arrested, along with other journalists, for engaging in interviews and reporting at a Minnesota church in which protestors engaged in demonstrations against the horrors of the ICE intervention in Minneapolis, at a church in which the pastor is an ICE administrator.

Also, the FBI has raided the Georgia Elections Office in Atlanta to seize the records of the voters and vote results of the Presidential Election of 2020, a sign of the purpose to intervene illegally in future elections in 2026 and 2028 in Georgia, a key swing state. Donald Trump continues to claim that the results in Georgia in 2020 were fixed and corrupt against him, a sign of his mental instability.

Already, Attorney General Pam Bondi has told Minnesota government leaders that the aggressive ICE intervention in that state would end if the state government would share voter rolls and information, another sign of the federal government trying to interfere with future elections, and gain private information about voters, an illegal action.

The Trump Administration is continuing to engage in authoritarian moves, and there are mass demonstrations all over the country to resist such actions, in what is clearly a never ending struggle for survival of American democracy and the rule of law.

US Supreme Court Promotes Racial Profiling! A Disgrace For Court’s Reputation Of Upholding The Constitution!

The US Supreme Court is supposed to uphold the Constitution and enforce the Bill of Rights.

In its past, it has often NOT done such, and now, in the present, the Supreme Court under Chief Justice John Roberts, has reached a new low in its reputation and image.

It has endorsed racial profiling as permissible in seven Los Angeles area counties by Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the National Guard. But once that is permitted, it can be expanded to everywhere, even though the Court said this was a “temporary” situation, not a final determination.

However, it is now open season for anyone who “looks” Latino, speaks with a Spanish accent, or has an Hispanic last name to be detained and put into a “hell hole”, at least in the Los Angeles area but likely to be expanded.

These victims of an oppressive government are denied due process, and subjected to lack of food, water, medicine, even a bed to sleep on while being held without trial, and in many cases, rapidly deported, by the order of Kristi Noem, Thomas Homan, Stephen Miller, Pam Bondi, and all of the other lawless Donald Trump lackeys!

Anyone who believes in basic civil liberties and sees America as the last great hope for oppressed people around the world has to be mourning and crying at what the American people, in their prejudice and bias and ignorance, have wrought upon the nation by electing Donald Trump to a second term, after the criminal actions he perpetrated in the first term!

Donald Trump Is Underming Multiple Areas Of American Progress

After seven and a half months of his second term, President Donald Trump has used a “wrecking ball” that has undermined multiple areas of American progress of past Presidents and Congresses.

Trump has undermined a stable American foreign policy, upending our relationship with NATO and our Asian allies, and encouraging aggression by dictatorships worldwide.

Trump has undermined our heritage of civil rights and civil liberties progress, from the time of Lyndon B. Johnson onward.

Trump has undermined environmental and consumer protection, which has been a guidepost since the time of Lyndon B. Johnson and Richard Nixon.

Trump has undermined America’s economic progress with his crazy, mad dash toward tariffs that are already showing signs of bringing about an economic recession and make life more difficult for anyone not of the wealthy upper class.

Trump has declared war on immigrants, upending the concept of tolerance and the essential need for a work force that includes foreigners who wish to become part of the “American Dream”.

Trump has shown total lack of compassion, decency, ethics, morals and tolerance toward anyone not white male Christian, including setting back progress for nonwhites, women, gays and lesbians, and disabled people.

Trump has undermined the independence of universities, the news media, corporations, and law firms, all threatening American democracy and its institutions.

So Trump has declared war on much of the 20th and 21st century progress from Theodore Roosevelt to Joe Biden, Presidents and Congresses of both political parties!
