Ted Cruz Stirs Republican Opposition Even In Texas From Senator John Cornyn And Governor Rick Perry!

Texas Senator Ted Cruz is rapidly becoming a pariah in the Republican Party, and even from fellow Texas politicians!

The senior Senator, John Cornyn, a strong conservative, bailed ship from Cruz days ago, and now Texas Governor Rick Perry, who could be a rival for Cruz for the 2016 GOP Presidential nomination, has also criticized the tactics and the methods used by Cruz to glorify himself, making clear that he is not interested in the survival of the Republican Party, but only his own advancement.

Cruz is becoming persona non grata among fellow Republicans in the Senate, and even in the House among many Tea Party Republicans.

Cruz is rapidly becoming a comet that is burning out, and yet he will strike out in vicious terms against any and all critics, as this is Ted Cruz personified—a demagogue, an egomaniac, who will stop at nothing, much like his look alike, Wisconsin Senator Joseph McCarthy!

I don’t recall if I mentioned it here. But I have expressed that U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is not politically smart. If he was slightly smart, he wouldn’t be burning just about all bridges less than a full year into his first year as the junior United States senator from the nation’s second most-populous state.

You are correct, D, but you have to understand that Cruz is arrogant, egotistical, and cares about nothing but his own advancement, but actually, what he has done is to undermine his own future, and he reminds me so much of his look alike, Senator Joseph McCarthy of Wisconsin!

Joe McCarthy was at it for a while. He was a cunning and sickened bastard. And what became of McCarthy in his final years was earned.

In the case of Ted Cruz … he’s less than an amateur. But there may a silver lining if this turns out to be one example of giving rise to the Democratic Party rebuilding in Texas. After Rick Perry, Ted Cruz should be inspiration for Team Blue to get back in the game in the Lone Star State. (If they care enough to do that.)

I think you are correct, D, and the entrance of Wendy Davis into the gubernatorial race and the likely advancement of either Mayor Julian Castro of San Antonio or his twin brother, Congressman Joaquin Castro, to a Senate seat in the future is inspiring for Democrats! Julian Castro comes up for another Mayoral race in May 2015, but in theory, could run for Senator against John Cornyn next year, and even if he loses, could likely keep the Mayoralty.

    Hello Professor,
Cruz-ing for a bruising? Yours, ours, theirs…   Blame “Ted Cruz-the-fuse” on the right wing ticking time bomb of destruction…

I was not surprised to see more sane minded Republicans speaking out against the reactionary wing nuts in their own, again.

Any time one suspects the sane right might be taking back the Republican Party from the lunatic fringe, they once again prove the inmates are driving the now Republican asylum bus even if they’re heading for a suicidal cliff.
