Latinos And Trump ICE Policy

Massive Switch In Latino Population Against Trump Seems To Be Occurring

New Public Opinion Polls seem to indicate a massive switch in Latino-Hispanic Population against Donald Trump, as compared to 2024.

Democrats have, at present, a margin of 59-35 favorability among Latinos in support of their party controlly Congress in the latest poll.

In 2024, Trump won 46 percent of the vote against Kamala Harris with 54 percent.

Only 27 percent in the poll approve of Trump’s job performance, while only 20 percent approve of his handling of the economy.

Only 30 percent approve of his handling of the immigration issue, and 62 percent see the Republican Party negatively, and 48-27 they think the Democratic Party will do better on the economy than Republicans.

One out of four Latinos know someone deported or detained by ICE in the past two years.

By a margin of 60-39, Latino voters favor a Democratic candidate in their Congressional district over a Republican opponent.

And 56 percent think Donald Trump has done worse in his second term than in his first, and 70 percent believe his economic policies have led to higher prices for food and groceries.

With their being 36 million Latino voters, that is a major factor in why Democrats have, at present, a 9 point advantage.

Of course, a lot depends on Latinos actually going out and voting, instead of staying home.

Heavily Latino population in crucial states, such as Texas, Florida, Arizona, and California could lead to many Republicans losing their seats in the House of Representatives.
