Donald Trump On Mission To Wipe Out History And Science At National Parks And Historical Sites!

The Washington Post has learned that the Interior Department under Doug Burgum is working to undermine and eliminate historical and scientific reality throughout the National Park System, as well as historical sites all over the nation.

The goal is to eliminate African American history, Indigenous history, women’s history, history of gay and lesbian Americans, and undermine scientific fact regarding climate change effect on the environment.

This horror has already occurred in Philadelphia, where an exhibit at Independence National Historical Park that had references to George Washington owning slaves was removed in January 2026 by order of the Donald Trump Administration, although then it was restored for the time being in February 2026, but with the issue still unresolved long term.

It also came about at Muir Woods National Monument in northern California in July 2025, where references to African Americans, women, and Indigenous Americans were removed, and John Muir’s racism was also removed.

National Park Rangers are resisting such actions, but the attack on facts and truth is in full swing, thereby promoting ignorance, fantasy, and denying reality of both the American past and the future of the scientific method.

Along with the federal government attack on museums and the arts, the goal clearly is brainwashing future generations, promoting a mythological view that would undermine the future advancement of the nation, and undermining what is taught and believed as fact in the nation’s classrooms.

The 49th Earth Day: The Attack By Scott Pruitt And Ryan Zinke In Full Swing

Today, April 22, is the 49th Earth Day, first declared by Richard Nixon in 1970, although earlier promoted by Wisconsin Democratic Senator Gaylord Nelson, considered the true “founder” of the modern environmental movement.

We have come a long way in the movement to preserve our environment, with many heroes in that movement,

We can look back to Theodore Roosevelt, Gifford Pinchot, John Muir and many others at the beginning of the 20th century.

We can look forward to such people as Ralph Nader, Jimmy Carter, Cecil Andrus, Al Gore, Bruce Babbitt, and a multitude of others who deserve praise.

But we also have the enemies of the environmental movement, from the time of Ronald Reagan onward, and including many Republican senators over the years.

And now, we have the Donald Trump Presidency, and the evil being done every day by Scott Pruitt, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, and by Ryan Zinke, the Secretary of the Interior, who are trying to destroy all efforts at protecting us from climate change, global warming, and the damage to wildlife and to our national park and national monument system.

The fight for the environment must be fought against all enemies, as it is the future of the planet at stake!
