I wanted to inform my readers and followers that I will not be posting again until mid March, as I am going on vacation, the first “real” vacation in a few years.

I will return to commentary the week of March 13.

    Former Republican, Southern Liberal and I haven’t been on a vacation since before the pandemic. Partially, that has to do with some elderly pets that we have.

    Disney has a live action Peter Pan movie coming on their Disney+ streaming service. The MAGA nuts don’t like that Tinkerbell is black and that two black girls are included with the Lost Boys.

    In addition to that, Disney has a live action Little Mermaid movie coming to theaters this summer. The MAGA nuts don’t like that the mermaid is black.

    They keep using the term “woke”, when they complain about it.

    We all need to see ourselves in these fantasy worlds. Fantasy is not exclusive to white people. And after years of Disney movies offering stereotypical and insulting characters, most of which they’ve been forced to apologize for, it’s about time the company started to do the right thing.
