Joe Biden Associated Press Public Opinion Poll Puts The President at 63 Percent!

The Associated Press Public Opinion Poll out today shows President Joe Biden’s ratings continue to soar.

Overall, Biden’s rating is at 63 percent, but on the COVID 19 Pandemic, he is even higher, at 71 percent, including 47 percent of Republicans.

Regarding the overall direction of the nation, the rating is 54 percent, the highest since 2017.

On the direction of the economy, the numbers are 57 percent.

However, on the issue of immigration and the problem at the Mexican border, only 43 percent support Biden.

48 percent support Biden on the issue of guns and mass shootings escalating, with 49 percent opposed.

And on foreign policy, 54 percent support the President on an area still in process of development.

Considering that Donald Trump NEVER reached 50 percent at any time since he first announced for President, and right up to now, it is clear Joe Biden is in very good shape, despite massive margins of Republicans remaining loyal to the twice impeached, twice loser of the popular vote 45th President!

I’m a bit skeptical about the CDC’s decision regarding the masks. Many Trumplicans have chafed at mask wearing and have no intention of getting vaccinated, which could lead to further circulation of the virus.

I second that concern. How are hotels, restaurants, etc. going to know which maskless people are vaccinated? Guarantee you many businesses are going to start requiring vaccine passports, which will become the next front in the vaccine culture wars.

That’s why I’m carrying my vaccine card around in my wallet, to show proof that I’ve been vaccinated.

Apparently, they are using a study done in Israel as a basis for this. But Israel didn’t drop mask requirements until the number of cases per day was far below their current rate in the U.S., even when expressed as a percentage of the population.

The vaccine cards can be forged. States like Tennessee and Texas have even made it easy by publishing the template for the cards online.

I don’t understand why the CDC made such a blanket statement. There is great state by state variation. It would have made more sense to declare masks off when each state reaches a specific threshold.

I’m still going to wear mine until vaccine rates go up some more.

It was reported yesterday that 8 vaccinated members of the New York Yankees have Covid. We don’t know all the details yet, but that doesn’t inspire confidence for people being hesitant about getting vaccinated.

I just heard that Kroger is going to be keeping their mask policy in place.

Virginia is dropping the mask mandate at midnight tonight. Social distancing and gathering limits will be dropped at the end of May. One thing to keep in mind if you are out and about shopping is that some businesses are keeping mask restrictions for the time being, for the safety of their frontline workers.

Ironic thing is that people are going to think you are unvaccinated if you opt to continue wearing a mask.
