A “Blood Bath” Coming Among House Republicans After The Election!

Every indication is that the Republican Party is on the way to a massive defeat in Congress in November, to match 1964 and 1974.

And it is clear that the most right wing and Tea Party types in the House of Representatives are ready to declare war on the House Republican leadership–Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California, Minority Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana, and House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney of Wyoming, the older daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney.

Those who will lead the attack will include Louie Gohmert of Texas, Jim Jordan of Ohio, and Matt Gaetz of Florida. And Devin Nunes of California may also join this group, all loyal Trumpites, who make the Republican leadership, as horrible as it is, seem moderate!

This author and blogger has just recently made clear that these four House members are among the most disgusting and disgraceful in the Republican Party!

Depending on the extent of the loss, it would seem likely that McCarthy, Scalise, and Cheney would triumph and keep leadership of a smaller caucus, but there is no way to know for sure at this point what might happen to the party that was once respectable!

So “Every indication is that the Republican Party is on the way to a massive defeat in Congress in November, to match 1964 and 1974,” is it? Gee, Thanks, Professor. i’m not sure that gives America anything to look forward to.

Let’s see: the 1964 Elephant Massacre led to what the Peoples of Viet Nam call “The American War,” and the so-called “Great Society” with its “War On Poverty.” All of which led to the Stagflation ~ a near-runaway inflation wrapped around a severe economic recession [something all those Keynesian economists and professors of economics assured us was absolutely impossible] ~ confronting America in 1974.

And what did that incoming Donkey Tide accomplish during its time at the Top of The Hill? Anything? What were the inflation and unemployment rates when Carter left office in 1981? And what happened to that Donkey Tide?

Just like ’64 and ’74, eh? No thanks.

ps: Rumour on the Web is that Trump is going to dump Pence for Cheney, and ramp up his dog whistle to the corporatist crony capitalist neo-liberal/-conservative wing of the Democratic Party; ie, the Clintonistas, Barakomistas, and Bidenoskies.

Jeffrey, you must be on some drug trip, with your lunatic comment that Liz Cheney will replace Pence on the GOP ticket for Vice President, when Jordan, Gohmert, Gaetz and Nunes are bitter enemies of the former Vice President’s daughter!

And what is this crazy reference to Clinton, Obama, and Biden?

You have said crazy statements before, but this is the nuttiest yet!

I think you need more health care consultations under the “socialistic” Medicare of Lyndon B. Johnson, who, according to our crazy President, Donald Trump, did nothing much on civil rights as compared to the Orange Hitler! 🙁

RF: “Jeffrey, you must be on some drug trip, with your lunatic comment that Liz Cheney will replace Pence…”

Well, first of all, Professor, note that i said “Rumour on the Web…,” if that makes any difference. And i guess i forgot to attach my “From The Onion” emoji. But…

“And what is this crazy reference to Clinton, Obama, and Biden? You have said crazy statements before, but this is the nuttiest yet!”

The reference is to exactly what i said: That the four of them constitute the corporatist crony capitalist neo-liberal/neo-conservative wing of the Democratic Party. Given their histories when in positions of power, what is so “nutty” about the statement? You concluded:

“I think you need more health care consultations under the “socialistic” Medicare of Lyndon B. Johnson, who, according to our crazy President, Donald Trump, did nothing much on civil rights as compared to the Orange Hitler!”

Thanks for the recommendation, but as a Veteran, i have access the the VA, which does an even lousier job of taking care of America’s Veterans than Medicare does of its Elderly. And that’s been the way it has been since long before the “Orange Hitler” showed his ugly mug.

    Orange Hitler, eh? Sheeesh.

By the way: What DID that 1974 purge of Republicans in Congress actually accomplish?

Ronald writes, “And it is clear that the most right wing and Tea Party types in the House of Representatives are ready to declare war on the House Republican leadership–Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of California, Minority Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana, and House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney of Wyoming, the older daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney.”

    This is good.

Liz Cheney is a war monger. Her success is due to the fact she was produced by 46th U.S. vice president Dick Cheney.

The Tea Party faction of the Republican Party does not trust, in particular, Liz Cheney because she stabs them in the back and she does the same against Donald Trump.

You know the Democrats have are hypocrites—and are disgusting—when they have in recent years embraced all of George W. Bush (Michelle Obama is a great example of that), John McCain (the entire Democratic Party Establishment mourned his death more than Republican Party), and at least one Cheney.

The United States has turned into garbage because the elites—the people who like to assume they are the ones with the superior minds and intellect—have no vision, not one for which is what the future the country and its citizens need, and they work for the oligarchs and are on their knees for Wall Street and the Military Industrial Complex. And the people who continue to vote for them—and it does not matter what their explanations and excuses—are further damaging the nation.

I am delighted the Tea Party faction of the Republican Party does not Liz Cheney. But, when it comes to the other major party, anyone who thinks he or she is a progressive—and whether or not he or she loyally votes for the Democratic Party—should not be defending Liz Cheney. She is vile trash—and should have been rejected a long time ago.

D, understand that I have no regard for Liz Cheney, and have always thought she and her father, and even her mother, are despicable beyond belief! When she speaks, I hear her father, who was a massive menace as one heartbeat away for eight years!

But the Tea Party people are even more horrible than Liz Cheney, Kevin McCarthy, and Steve Scalise, and it makes one wonder who will lead the Congressional Republicans after the massive losses coming in November.

There is a need for a massive reform of the Republican Party for sure!

Dubya and McCain didn’t do childish things, such as name-calling, like the way Trump has constantly done. That’s the thing that we Democrats respect about them.

I second what the Professor said about the Tea Party Republicans. They are the worst group of Republicans.
