If Only Donald Trump Had Been Convicted On Impeachment Charges On February 5!

Had Donald Trump been convicted on Impeachment charges on February 5, 2020, how different the situation would be today, Sunday, March 29!

Fifty three days have passed since that date, and Mike Pence would have been President!

That would not have been great in any sense, but one has to wish to believe that Mike Pence, somehow, would have performed better in this CoronaVirus Pandemic.

Pence has had to be quiet and seemingly agreeing with Donald Trump, but as one watches his conduct in the daily briefings, as compared to his boss, it seems as if Pence, within the parameters of being Vice President, would have, very likely, done things quite differently.

This would include not delaying in taking action, and no ego in needing to be constantly “appreciated” for what he does in relation to state governors across the nation, who have the massive burden of dealing with the issue, while the President goes off on tangents, and appears totally disengaged from reality.

    Pence is Rump’s mannequin.

We’re having cases in rural areas in Virginia now. Most of those have been travel related so far.

The more urban, heavily populated areas of Virginia are having community spread now.

Social distancing has been extended to April 30 and Trumpty Dumbty predicts that the virus will magically go away on June 1.

At his unhinged press briefing today, Trump was falsely accusing hospitals in New York of hoarding masks.

As someone in an Emergency Room once put it: “If Wishes and Hopes were Pots and Pans, Doctor, there would be no need for Tinkers.”

So Biden needs to pick the right VP co-runner; and the current VP ~ somehow, perhaps magically ~ would be better than the current P, eh?

Hope springs ever eternal among The Faithful.

Let’s just get rid of both of them, and put Madam Pelosi in charge, shall we? Think Y’All got the guns to do that?

None of us like Pence either.

Southern Liberal – I think there may be some community spread starting to occur in the rural areas now, as some of those counties are starting to increase in the number of cases.

Those navy hospital ships are finally arriving in New York and LA.

Governor Northam has issued a mandatory stay at home order. Apparently, some people are still not taking the virus seriously, continuing to gather in crowds at the beach.

DC’s mayor has issued a stay at home order as well.

Jeffrey, for once, I actually agree with you, that Nancy Pelosi should be President for the rest of the term, but I do believe Pence has come across as fairly responsible and receptive with all of the state governors, despite Trump telling him to ignore some governors!
