America faces its greatest national security threat since Pearl Harbor, as now we have a President who is a threat to all of us, something no one would have imagined of a sitting President after September 11.
Donald Trump is clearly being manipulated by Vladimir Putin, and is attempting to destroy our constitutional checks and balances and rule of law.
He has a willing accomplice in Rudy Giuliani, who should face arrest, conviction and incarceration, as well as so many people around Trump, including Attorney General William Barr, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and Acting White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney.
And also, there is the willing Republican Party in Congress, which has no guts to oppose Trump’s outrageous behavior and actions.
So on this anniversary of Pearl Harbor, all Americans who are not compromised need to be active and engaged to prevent the destruction of the American Republic!

It is unfortunate, Professor, that You chose to commemorate the 78th anniversary of Pearl Harbor with yet another epistle about a President who is America’s “greatest national security threat” since that day, and one “who is a threat to all of us.”
Instead of giving some historical insight, for example, as to how Pearl Harbor was able to be destroyed that day in the first place ~ given the fact that the White House knew that an attack was imminent, possibly weeks and certainly days before it happened ~ and what that might mean today, You chose instead to focus on current events, and names and faces in the news.

1. Trump’s destruction of constitutional checks and balances is merely the continuation of a process initiated a long time ago, but with particular virulence since 9/11. He is simply carrying on in the grand tradition of Cheney/Bush the Lesser and Obomber [and BillyBobb, LBJ, and FDR before], always fully and dutifully aided and abetted by whatever party was/is in control of Congress.
2. And if Trump is being “clearly manipulated” by Putin; by whom is Putin [or Xi, Kim, Macron, Johnson, Netanyahu, bin Salman, Trudeau, Erdogan, Assad, the Ayatollah, ISIS and al-Qaeda, etc] being clearly manipulated? And by whom are Pelosi, Schumer, Biden, Warren, Sanders, Mayors Pete and Bloomer the Boomer, “The Squad,” The Hillary, and the rest of the supporting cast being just as clearly manipulated?
3. Whether Trump is or is not being manipulated by Putin, he is clearly, willingly, and willfully being manipulated very effectively and very profitably used by:
a. the military-industrial complex
b. the petro-financial web
c. the techo-infotainment matrix
d. the guns n drugs cartel
e. the surveillance/secrecy/security safety panopticon.
Those folks have never had it so good; even as good as it was when it was Obama’s, Cheney/Bush the Lesser’s, and Clinton’s shots that were being called by those same folks.

What exactly is an American who “is not compromised”? Compromised by who and/or what? And what exactly do You mean by “compromised”? Who exactly are all those “Compromismos”?
Do You mean all those Americans who approve of what Trump has done, is doing, and promises to keep doing? What exactly have they compromised?
Do You mean all those Americans who have benefited from The Age of Trump, of POTUS Maximus XLV? How does this make them “Compromismos”?
Or do You perhaps mean those Americans who don’t support Trump, but will be damned if they will vote for either some corporate [neo-] “liberal” leftover from the 90s and 00s, or for some neo-proto-socialist “progressive” trying to resurrect the 60s without all The Boomers’ failures?
Are these among Your “compromised”? Sounds a lot like “deplorables,” doesn’t it? And You Dems did see where that attitude and meme got You back in 2016, didn’t You? Or didn’t You?
And exactly how are Your “un-compromised” to get active and engaged “to prevent the destruction of the American republic”?
By signing petitions and marching in the streets demanding impeachment, knowing full well that conviction is a pipe dream? By supporting with money and vote the DNC’s candidate-of-choice as dictated by those in charge of manipulating it? By threatening to hold their breaths until Everything changes more to their satisfaction?
How about if they start, instead, by hitting the streets and the Net and demanding an end to The Forever War, abroad and at home [ie, AUMF and PATRIOT]? Immediately, if not sooner. Something no front-running Democrat candidate would even think of even thinking about; let alone uttering in a public forum [or restroom, for that matter].
How about if they continue by demanding that this government either deal with the National Debt and Deficits and the looming Bankruptcies of Entitlements Programs, or get the hell out of the way? Something else no front-running candidate has even mentioned thus far in his or her campaign.
And that’s just for starters.
In any event, Corporal Bonespurs is more than merely a threat to America’s “national security.” He, his Trumpatistas, and the people who own, operate, control, and script him constitute an existential threat to the very future existence of America, and probably the entire Planet. Just like Corporal Adolf, his Black Shirts, and the Money behind him constituted an existential threat to Germany and much of the Planet back in the day.
All of which led back then, eventually and of course, to today, 78 years ago; and the day they bombed Paradise and turned it into a cemetery.
We’ve already had our “New Pearl Harbor” for the first score of the 21st century in 9/11. Could our very own Reichstag Fire be among future episodes?
