Tim Kaine Proves He Is Excellent Vice Presidential Choice, As Much As Walter Mondale, Al Gore, And Joe Biden!

Tim Kaine proved how great a choice he was for Hillary Clinton’s Vice Presidential running mate, in his debate last night with Mike Pence.

Pence was pitiful in his inability to defend Donald Trump’s words and actions, and his refusal to release his tax returns. Kaine clearly won the debate with his arguments, his aggressiveness, and his personality, while Pence was a “sleepy” and “low energy” opponent.

And yet, the Republicans are claiming they “won” the debate, and in fact, did, according to a CNN poll by 48 to 42, which is seen as simply the fact that Pence was more stable in his performance than Trump was in the first Presidential debate.

But many observers are saying Pence did more to help himself in a future potential Presidential bid in 2020, than he was able to improve Donald Trump”s public image.

It is clear that Hillary Clinton won the first Presidential debate, and her lead has surged to five to six points in most polls in “swing” states, with only Iowa and Ohio among “swing” states as outliers at the moment.

Tim Kaine is in the tradition of previous Democratic Vice Presidents Walter Mondale, Al Gore, and Joe Biden!

I thought Kaine did hurt his cause by interrupting Pence so much. We criticized Trump for doing that last week. No need to emulate his boorish habit.

That is true, but I take it as being aggressive! I had no personal issue with it, as what is good for the goose (Trump) is good for the gander! LOL

Kaine may be an excellent VP choice for an Establishment Corporatist Pretend-Progressive like Hillary Clinton, but as a Progressive I am utterly failing to find anything Progressive about Tim Kaine, or Hillary Clinton, or any reason why a Progressive Professor is singing the praises of Left Wingers who are moving further and further from anything resembling Progressivism. I just can not bring myself to support the Democrats anymore. I want to, but they are apparently not the least bit concerned with Progressive Ideals or policies. I fear that when Clinton wins, the entire narrative from the Left will be “Thank you for helping us beat Trump. Now shut up and let us do what we want because we already gave you what you needed by preventing Trump form winning, so just shut up and be grateful for the few crumbs we will throw at you from time to time while we continue war mongering and kowtowing to the corporations.
Can someone explain to me why I should be excited about Tim Kaine or Hillary Clinton without mentioning the words “trump” or “republicans”?

Michael, you are entitled to your opinion and views, but I think you have to realize that America is not as enthralled by progressivism as you and I are, and I am a realist, and see measured change as progress.

It is purity standards such as yours which led to Richard Nixon and George W. Bush, and if too many people follow your lead, could lead to Donald Trump!
