Barack Obama Visit To Hiroshima Reminds Us Of Dangers Of Nuclear War, And Of Unstable Donald Trump Having Nuclear Codes!

Barack Obama’s visit today to Hiroshima, the site of the first atomic bomb attack on August 6, 1945, was a sobering moment.

Obama did not apologize for the attack initiated by the orders of President Harry Truman, but he spoke of the horrors of over 140,000 people dying from that event, and the aftermath of thousands dying from exposure to nuclear radiation there, and at Nagasaki three days later.

He spoke of the concern over the proliferation of nuclear weapons, and the threat to the peace and tranquility of the world in the long term future.

While he did not say anything about Donald Trump at Hiroshima, it was clear there is, and should be, great concern over the thought of an unstable, egomaniacal, narcissistic Donald Trump ever having control of the nuclear codes, which would occur if he was elected President in November.

The world faces not only the threat of Kim Jong Un of North Korea and the Iranian government possibly breaking the agreement it has with the United States and five European powers about avoiding the development of nuclear weapons potential, but also that we could face a person in power who would be a threat to the entire world, or own potential future President!

I am not Trump fan nor will I vote for him (or for Hillary for that matter), but seriously compare him to the North Korean genocidal inbred and the Iranian mass murdering anti-Semitic, anti-West Mullahs? Who did Trump ever assassinate? How many gays did he hang? How many women did he stone? How many people died of hunger because of him? Did he kill his uncle? Again, I am not a Trump supporter but comments like these just make some people want to vote for him more, not less.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the December 7, 1941, Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor that killed more than 2,400 Americans. But for this attack there would not have been a Hiroshima or Nagasaki. President Obama is visiting Hiroshima this week, the site of the August 6, 1945, dropping of the atomic bomb that helped end World War II in the Pacific Theater. But strangely, he has so far announced no plans to visit Pearl Harbor on the anniversary of the attack. The president, who spent much of his childhood in Hawaii, should do so.
The road to Hiroshima and the massive loss of life in the Pacific was paved by unprovoked Japanese aggression at Pearl Harbor. Americans and their president should remember the lessons of that surprise attack 75 years ago this year.

IF you cannot see the potential danger of Trump, who is an ego maniac and a narcissist, having the ultimate power of the nuclear code, then indeed you are clueless!

Sure, Trump has not done what you mention, as he has not had power, but he is the most dangerous man ever to run for President, and his crazy behavior is a warning of what he is capable of doing!

Has he not said he would kill all family members of a suspected terrorist; would use waterboarding and other torture techniques against international law; and that he would be very willing to employ nuclear weapons without a thought?

You need to think before you make yourself look as looney tunes as Trump is! We do not need a mentally ill President in the White House, and he endangers the entire nation!

The Professor is right to compare Trump to that nut in North Korea. Both are unstable. There’s no telling what horror Trump would unleash should he become president. The thought of Trump being president scares me so bad it’s caused me to have stomach upset.

Southern Liberal – Many of my co-workers are Republicans. I’ve been hearing them talking about Trump. They’re just as scared of him as you are.

Ronald: We have a Constitution, remember? We have Congress to stand up and stop a President remember? They don’t have that in North Korea or Iran or Russia. Fortunately we still have pieces of a Republic left.

A Congress which is Republican will NOT stand up to Trump!

And if the courts are extremist right wing, we are doomed!

They didn’t stand up to Obama , but they will to Trump. Just wait and see.

Hillary has a strong campaign finance reform agenda, yet the media hardly report on things like that. They are too busy carrying Trump’s rallies, just in case someone demonstrates, violence occurs, or he says something ridiculous.
