The Republican Party is offering us a disgraceful group of candidates for the Presidency, with most of them being an embarrassment to the glorious history of the party historically!
The Republican Party was the party of the Civil War and the end of slavery!
The Republican Party was the party, originally, of progressivism in the early 20th century!
The Republican Party was the party of moderate centrism, under Dwight D. Eisenhower, and offered many governors and senators who were moderate centrists or moderate progressives, in the image of Nelson Rockefeller, in the years after Ike was in the White House!
But since the time of Ronald Reagan, the Republican party has moved so far to the Right and been captured by Christian conservatives and Tea Party extremists, who have moved the party out of the mainstream. The party has allowed itself to be influenced by Fox News Channel and talk show hosts, such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Michael Savage, and Laura Ingraham!
So we have a group of candidates, some of which can be seen as the worst, most dangerous candidates imaginable!
We would include in the list of five worst, most dangerous Republican Presidential candidates the following:
Donald Trump
Ted Cruz
Mike Huckabee
Scott Walker
Rick Santorum
Any of these five would be especially threatening to the nation’s future, both in domestic and foreign policy! Luckily, only Walker, at this point, seems a real threat, but Trump is taking all of the oxygen out of the room with his divisive candidacy, including personal insults against all of his opponents.
In so doing, he is insuring a Republican party loss by a massive landslide in the Presidential Election of 2016!
I’m sure, excluding the tinfoil hat wearing wing nuts of course, trying to pick your favorite Republican presidential candidate is like trying to pick a favorite intestinal parasite!!

That’s why we should push Obama to enact the Fairness doctrine via Executive Order. I am so glad that Obama had the guts to make the law when this treacherous Republican Nazi Congress refuses to enact the laws Obama wants. Obama has to pass the Fairness Doctrine so he can later take all these hateful fundamentalist constitutionalist off the air! They are polluting the minds of Americans putting wrong and backward ideas in their minds. They are extreme individualist that simply do not want to comply with anything that is done for the common good and social justice. They are so mean spirited always talking about the Tenth Amendment, State Rights which we all know stands for racism and white supremacy. I really hope one day we could pass an amendment abolishing this disgusting Tenth Amendment. I mean how could it be that all these states, especially the red states, have their own law? Just look at the mess, marriage meant this here , marriage meant this there! Nuts! How are we ever going to have the states comply with the federal government and thus ensure social justice and wealth redistribution if the states think they can do whatever the want? It’s so backward. In Europe all countries, or most of them, have a powerful centralized government . And we all know how progressive and advance Europe is. Anyway Obama has to show the country how good and advantageous it is for the President to make laws when Congress simply refuses to pass the laws the President wants. That’s why I loved him more when he told a heckler during an immigration rally that “I just changes the law..” That was awesome, especially since it drove this right wing extremist nuts!
