It Is Time For Republicans To Condemn Sarah Palin, With John McCain In The Lead!

Arizona Senator John McCain gave us Sarah Palin as a national figure in 2008, by choosing the obscure Alaska Governor as his Vice Presidential running mate.

In the past six years, Sarah Palin has contributed absolutely NOTHING to political discourse, and has worked to undermine any sense of cooperation and unity!

Palin has demonstrated how stupid, ignorant, and moronic she is on a regular basis!

She quit her job as Governor once an investigation into spending on her part began, and yet she has the gall to criticize Barack Obama, and show total lack of respect for the office he holds, along with the man.

In a recent poll, 54 percent said that Sarah Palin should just go away, and shut her mouth!

She has been an embarrassment to herself, her family, and the party that gave her the opportunity to become famous, and to earn millions on books she did not write, and reality shows that made us realize just how dimwitted she is!

It is hard not to roll one’s eyes as Sarah Palin becomes more ridiculous and inane by the day!

It is time for Republican leaders to repudiate her, and let her go to the right wing Tea Party Movement, which she has sided with, undermining the few responsible Republicans that are left in that party. The candidates she has backed are just as stupid, ignorant, inane, and literally dangerous, with their extremist views, that are undermining the rights of the poor, the minorities, women, labor, and the environment.

Senator McCain, you have continued to be supportive in public of Sarah Palin out of loyalty, but it is time to drop the false image, and for you to denounce this woman for calling for the impeachment of Barack Obama. You have already said there are no grounds for such an action, therefore disagreeing with her, without attacking her.

You need now, Senator McCain, to be a profile in courage and tell her she is wrong, and that she needs to leave the political scene. You can be sure that she would bite the hand that fed her fame, but it would make her look even worse by doing so, and would make you look better in history, for admitting you made a mistake in selecting her to be a heartbeat away from the Presidency!

    Good Morning Professor,
Well stated but……don’t hold your breath for McCain. 🙂

    Professor,
You may already know this but if not, I thought I would pass this on.

Judge Scraps GOP-Drawn Florida Map Calling it a ‘Mockery’

The Republicans have been rearranging congressional districts all over the country, a process known as gerrymandering, and it has been quite successful.  They’ve managed to redraw boundaries of voting districts to turn them from blue to red.  As a result they’ve been winning elections while the Democrats have apparently been sitting on their hands.  Thanks to an attentive district judge in Florida, however, things may be changing.

Republicans “made a mockery” of recent Florida constitutional amendments requiring lawmakers to draw fair political districts, a state judge ruled yesterday, ordering that two particularly egregious districts be redrawn—and with them, probably all districts that touch them. “Republican political consultants or operatives did, in fact, conspire to manipulate and influence the redistricting process,” Judge Terry P. Lewis wrote in a scathing 41-page ruling. He noted that lawmakers had destroyed a suspicious number of documents related to the redistricting process, and even quoted George Washington’s admonition to beware “cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men,” the New York Times reports.

Florida voted in 2010 in favor of two amendments requiring districts to be drawn in an impartial, non-partisan fashion. The judge ruled that the GOP-controlled legislature failed to do that. Republicans currently hold 17 of Florida’s House seats to the Democrats’ 10, even though Democrats have an edge in overall voter registration. The judge didn’t specify if the districts have to be redrawn by this year’s midterms, Politico points out, and the state is likely to appeal. “Everyone in Florida is holding their breath,” one redistricting consultant said, predicting that the changes would ultimately wait until 2016.

I am well aware, Engineer, of the Florida judge’s decision, and one must recall that the Democrats had more total popular votes in 2012 for House seats, but yet could not gain the majority of seats, due to the corrupt gerrymandering in Florida and in other states. Thanks for mentioning this to my readers, however!

People everywhere, in all States, need to stand up and STOP this corruption! Plain and simple. “Gerrymandering is illegal!”

I would also caution to be watchful for another “Diebold voting machines flipping votes” type stolen election in 2016.

Through investigating journalism, it was found many of the e-voting machines, especially the Diebold systems, were flipping the votes for W. Bush that occurred during the 2000 and 2004 elections.

Then just a few weeks before the 2012 election, Mitt Romney’s son bought the company, through one of their corporations, that was to supply the e-voting machines to the Cincinnati area. The election judges were on top of this and checked out the accuracy of these machines supplied. Over half were flipping the votes. They removed them from service and this is why it took so long for people to cast their votes in Cincinnati. They only had half of the machines required to handle the voting public.

With accurate elections, Ohio voted for President Obama and really voted for Kerry, and Gore.

Karl Rove and the Republican leadership will try once again to steal the 2016 election.

Yes, Ohio, and particularly the Cincinnati area, are subject to corrupt vote count, and if the election had been fair, we would have had President Gore and or President Kerry, and imagine how much better America would have been over the past 14 years!

But of course, I do not hear that from my “Republican” and “conservative” friends, some of whom I never realized the extent of their nastiness, mean spirit, and denial of facts until Obama was running for President, and getting more vehement in 2012 and since, so some of these “friends” and I never communicate anymore, no loss at all, in my mind!

    Professor,
When Katie Couric interviewed her 6 years ago and asked her what impeachment was, didn’t she reply that it was some sort of dessert?

  7. Ronald July 14, 2014 9:22 am

I assume you are kidding, Paul, as I do not recall that! LOL

How about this one then, Professor.
Palin was born on a small island off the coast of Alaska called Shiffa.
It was known as the birthplace of some of the most intelligent people in the state.

I know this is the case, because every time I see Palin speak, I say
“There goes Shiffa brains again” ; )

I can tell, Paul, that if we ever met, we would have a lot of laughs! LOL
