Lunatic Ted Cruz Declares War On The Federal Government And His Own Republican Colleagues On ObamaCare!

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, the Joseph McCarthy rabble rouser of his time, with a weird resemblance in appearance to the Wisconsin Senator who terrorized the nation and his party 60 years ago, has declared war on the federal government and his own Republican colleagues over ObamaCare!

He and the head of the Heritage Foundation, former Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina, have made it clear that the extreme right wing will not “blink” at shutting down the federal government at the budget deadline on September 30, preventing any government payments unless ObamaCare, which is federal law, is defunded. The rhetoric is as if this is the Cuban Missile Crisis, and there is no concern at the effect such a shutdown would have on the US economically, and the image of America in the world, if it is shown as paralyzed and unable to pay debts already incurred.

Cruz, a very dangerous man, is showing himself to be a lunatic, a crazy man, in many ways a domestic “terrorist”, ready to cause total chaos and anarchy if he and Jim DeMint and the Tea Party Movement crowd do not get their way on ObamaCare, which will NOT be defunded, as the Senate and President Barack Obama will never agree to end what is federal law by a majority of both houses of Congress, and endorsed as constitutional by the US Supreme Court!

But meanwhile, Cruz and DeMint are threatening all Republican Senators and Congressmen who dare to have a rational mind, and who will be unwilling to join the right wing extremist chorus for defunding ObamaCare, as they know it will do permanent harm to the Republican brand, and kill any chance of winning the Senate in 2014 and 2016, and the Presidency in 2016.

DeMint has made it clear that every GOP member of Congress, who is not on board, will face a primary challenge, and funding to kick him or her out of their seats in Congress. This is holy war on anyone unwilling to join the whacko Tea Party crowd, setting out to destroy the federal government’s ability to operate!

The time has come for GOP leadership in both houses of Congress to declare they will not be threatened, not be made hostage, not allow DeMint, Cruz, and their ilk to destroy the heritage of the Republican Party!

We will soon see, whether the GOP has guts and courage to work against these demagogues, DeMint and Cruz, but even if they do, the Republican Party is doomed long run, until it purges the cancer of the extremists, and puts Ted Cruz in his place, total repudiation by his colleagues, and censure in the same fashion by the Senate as occurred to his “look alike”, the villainous Joseph Raymond McCarthy in 1954!

Why does Obama and the “Democratic” party hate wives and special needs children? My brother works for UPS and now because of Obamacare the company has no choice but to drop his wife’s coverage. My nephew is also a special needs child and now because of Obamacare my brother’s FSA account is now capped at $2,500. Why is my brother being punished? Why is his wife being punished? Why is my nephew being punished? What did they do wrong? They thought they were going to be able to keep their coverage. My brother and his wife both voted for Obama. We had endless discussions, but the believed in Obama. They beleived they wee going to be able to keep thier coverage. They were happy with their coverage and now that was taken away from them. He first thought it was UPS’s fault , but when he talked to his best friend who is the HR manager he realized he was wrong and that it was all due to Obamacare. I feel so miserable by what he as well as millions of americans are going through and will go through due to this law that I couldn’t even say “I told you so.”

  2. Ronald August 21, 2013 8:37 pm

I am very disturbed to hear what you have told me, Robert, but I tend to think that the HR Manager is giving an excuse, as UPS could well afford to keep your sister in law on health care and also your nephew. It is well known that corporations are trying to cut costs and blame it on Obama, a favorite game for the past five years. UPS makes enough profit that it can do what is right on this.

If it does turn out that it is the fault of the US government, I would be the first to demand that the law be modified, as a special needs child should not be punished in particular, but neither should a wife under a husband’s coverage. Just wanted to let you know that my younger son, an adult, has disability problems that allow him to gain health care coverage, particularly medication, under Medicare, and that I fully support all aid to help a special needs child or adult, and realize that the Republican Party leadership has no concern about that group of people. There have been plenty of children with special needs who have gained already under ObamaCare, but yet Ted Cruz and others of their ilk want to push tens of thousands, if not more such cases, off of any health care coverage, absolutely despicable!

Thank you Ronald. But beleive me, my brother is more to he left than you even. For him Obama can do no wrong. At first he callled me convinced that as you say the greedy UPS just screwed him But today he called me and told me he was wrong, he sat with his buddy at HR and there was no excuse it was crystal clear they had no choice. The scheme of Obamacare he told me is set up for this to happen and force as many people as possible to the exchanges. He was very upset. First it was the cap on the FSA and now this. He told me I am a true flesh and blood human being not a statistic.

  4. Ronald August 21, 2013 8:50 pm

Well, then, Robert, there needs to be a hue and cry and demand for this aspect of ObamaCare to change and change NOW! This is totally unacceptable, and understand that I may like Obama, but I have never claimed that everything he says and does is ideal or perfect, and this certainly fills the bill! This needs to be spread through news media, so that it becomes a public issue immediately!

  5. Ronald August 22, 2013 8:29 am

Robert, I heard a report on the news about UPS, and it is clear to me after hearing it that it is simply a refusal of UPS to do the right thing. They are a very profitable company, which is showing a lack of respect for their workers, and refusing to cover what they know they should cover, but it is easier to blame Obama and the government than do the right thing.

And as it is, they raise prices whenever the wish, and if they need to, they should raise the prices to cover employee costs, as their business will not suffer, no matter how much they claim it would. This is big business, as in FDR’s time, blaming the President for a reform long needed, but they are the true villains, as their CEO and top executives make money that is out of the norm, and need to sacrifice for their workers, but why should they, if they can shift the blame on ObamaCare? This is indeed the new Gilded Age mentality, and the answer is that the corporations are out of control, and are victimizing workers, and government regulation is essential to bring them into compliance!

Lulz! The Democrats do not hate wives nor special needs kids! As the Professor said, it’s just the HR manager making an excuse!

  7. Princess Leia August 22, 2013 9:53 am

To second what the Professor said, it is well known that corporations are trying to cut costs and blame it on Obama.

  8. Rustbelt Democrat August 22, 2013 9:58 am

Exactly right Leia! That’s why Robato should be listening to sources other than the lies of Faux News.

  9. Robert August 22, 2013 12:00 pm

I had no idea my leftist brother was a Fox News source.

  10. Rustbelt Democrat August 22, 2013 12:53 pm

Quite frankly, I tend to be skeptical of what you say.

  11. Princess Leia August 22, 2013 12:55 pm

Oh my gosh! Don’t those people know the concept of a calendar?! Got me rolling on the floor laughing! 🙂

  12. Jane Doe August 22, 2013 1:24 pm

Excellent point Rustbelt! He claims his brother is a “leftist” but we have no way of knowing that for sure.

  13. Engineer Of Knowledge August 22, 2013 4:42 pm

Why does Obama and the “Democratic” party hate wives and special needs children?

Once again a “Generalized Statement” which negates any point you are trying to make. Of course not to mention you have no facts to back this up. It could also be a response to the Supreme Court recognizing gay marriages and UPS does not want to contribute to the same sex spouse medical benmifits.

This could be as true as your statement but I have no facts to support it.

I do have facts that UPS would be proactive in Union Busting and has been reducing retirement bennifits for those who dedicated several years to the company…..but I guess this is because of Obamacare too. Dumb A..

  14. Robert August 22, 2013 6:23 pm

Well it seems that everytime I make a comment there is an extraordinary need to insult me. Engineer I dont know who you are nor how old you are, but I have a feeling you wouldn’t dare call me a dumb A personally. So much for civilized discourse Ronald.

  15. Engineer Of Knowledge August 22, 2013 7:01 pm

You tool..I was using the ghetto vernacular for Dummy or Dumb A.

How does a Quantico, VA trained combat vet. Be careful of your big talk. I’m sure I know what you are all about.

I have pointed out your writing flaws many times but you still don’t learn. Sad.

“Well it seems that everytime I make a comment there is an extraordinary need to insult me.”

Once again a “Generalized Statement.”. Now if you can count that high, I want you to go several months and count how many times you commented and I have not thought it was even worth my effort to correct your ignorant, un-factual statements. If you find just ONE, you have once again negated you statement and point.

Critical Thinking & Logical Argumentation skills ate what you are lacking. This is why your insecurities come out.

  16. Jane Doe August 22, 2013 7:02 pm

    Way to go Engineer! 🙂

  17. Robert August 22, 2013 7:32 pm

Engineer , you are a very angry man. Why are you such a frustrated malcontent human being? Has life been so bad to you? You may be a combat vet but you are also a sad little man. And frankly I don’t care if you are a vet. What’s the matter? Does not the blue pill help you anymore? Were you not able to surpass the accomplishments of your father, brother or grandfather? Has your life truly been so insignificant in your opinion? I truly feel pity for you.

  18. Robert August 22, 2013 8:03 pm

Boehner just held a conference call with the Republican caucus and informed them that they will not defund Obamacare. As I said , Republicans within the beltway love Obamacare. Therefore from now on I shall refer to this despicable law as BoehnerCare. We give them the House and Speakership and they betray us, as good French Republicans. As always. And by the way, the socialist statist democrats smile behind the scenes.

  19. Rustbelt Democrat August 22, 2013 9:18 pm

    Robato,

You forget that it was RomneyCare before it was renamed Obamacare.

  20. Princess Leia August 22, 2013 9:47 pm

I disagree completely with Ayn Rand that altruism is evil.

  21. Princess Leia August 22, 2013 10:00 pm

Just like that article, I find Ayn Rand’s worldview sick and twisted.

  22. Rustbelt Democrat August 22, 2013 10:05 pm

Her works are the product of a woman who was very terribly wounded by Leninist communism, and whose own wounded soul was unable to see generosity as anything other than Leninism.

And that’s where her worldview comes from. She can’t tell the difference between Jesus and Lenin.

  23. Jane Doe August 22, 2013 10:12 pm

This seem to sum up both Rand and the Tea Party in a short bit…..

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man’s oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness. ~~ John Kenneth Galbraith

  24. Ronald August 22, 2013 10:16 pm

Wow, Robert, you have lost your cool completely! You claim you do not wish to be insulted, which I can understand, but your reasoning is poor, and you go ahead and insult Engineer, who has displayed great insights on this blog for a long time.

And to complain about what you call BoehnerCare, you seem not to understand that Boehner is not insane, like Cruz or Paul or DeMint! He knows that ObamaCare cannot be stopped, and that they are killing any chance of GOP gains in Congress and for the White House. Boehner is no liberal or moderate, but he is a rational, practical man, and he sees, at least for once, the handwriting on the wall for the extremist Right Wing Tea Party movement, and he does not wish to commit suicide and bring the nation down. The Tea Party is nuts, dangerous, extremist, radical, and against the traditions of American history, and they have done enough damage, and it is time for mainstream Republicans to rescue their party from the muck and garbage that has attempted a coup against what is good for the American future!

  25. Maggie August 22, 2013 10:41 pm

Hello All, Greetings from sunny Florida! I don’t have much to add because you all have pretty much cleaned Robert’s clock.
Ahhh Robert what a victim you are! Such BS!!!!!! You are just mad because everyone is right and backs up with facts. Your meaningless ramblings are those of an imbecilic moron.
    Geeez grow up!
And I just want to tell you that your remarks and insults to Engineer are beyond STUUUUPID but also indicative of a very immature bonehead. You are simply making a total fool of yourself.
And oh BTW…I don’t believe for one minute you are this other assumed identity., ROBERT. We know exactly who you are you blockhead!

  26. Rustbelt Democrat August 22, 2013 11:05 pm

    Haha! Get ‘im Maggie! 🙂

  27. Engineer Of Knowledge August 22, 2013 11:34 pm

Yeah Robert post lies, I point them out and call him on his constant lying … My bad. It’s all my short comings. LOL. What a joke… 🙂

Bottom line, Robert / Juan is a good source of examples to pass on during my radio appearances. He is becoming a good running joke accross the nation. Please keep it up.

I was just speaking with a friend in Chicago and wanted to know what latest stupid thing Robert / Juan did. He doesn’t read this blog but he follows the show.

  28. Ronald August 22, 2013 11:44 pm

Jane Doe, I LOVE what you quoted John Kenneth Galbraith, the great economist, said about conservatism! SO TRUE!

  29. Engineer Of Knowledge August 23, 2013 7:47 am

    Hello Professor,
My son-in-law’s youngest brother interned in Boehner’s office before the election. He worked on the budget plan and in frustration over this bill when the Tea Party members kept voting no just to shut down the government, Boehner during the Congressional session dressed them down by saying and I quote, “Get you asses in line and pass this budget!!”

What I know of Boehner is he is a man dealing with an impossible situation caused by the fraction in his own Republican Party.

But like I have said before I predicted this calamity in my conversation with Jack Kemp years before. You court ignorance…you get ignorance.

  30. Ronald August 23, 2013 9:32 pm

Engineer, I believe that John Boehner is a practical man, who will, ultimately, NOT allow the Tea Party crowd to destroy the GOP.

I hope he will be a profile in courage, and allow votes on issues such as immigration reform, whether he has a majority of the majority or not, as he has done this a couple of times already.

It might lead to the end of his Speakership, but really, what is the point of public service if one has no desire to do the right thing? Public office should not just be based on personal gain and status!
