The Tea Party Movement War Against Conservative Republicans Not Conservative Enough!

The Tea Party Movement, the right wing extremists who have helped to cause the loss of multiple Senate seats in 2010 and 2012, are at it again, determined to purge the Republican Party of conservatives who are not conservative enough.

So we have a Tea Party challenge to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in Kentucky; to Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina; to Senator Lamar Alexander of Tennessee; and to Senator Mike Enzi of Wyoming (in that case by Liz Cheney).

One would think that McConnell, Graham, Alexander and Enzi are flaming liberals, which they most certainly are not!

This is the craziness of the Tea Party Movement, which is out to make the GOP a party that will be unable to gain control of the Senate or the White House for the long term, as they do not represent the views of the vast majority of the American people, even in the red states!

    Hello Professor,
The Republican National Committee voted unanimously on Friday to refuse to partner with CNN or NBC on 2016 GOP primary debates if those networks move ahead with planned films about Hillary Clinton.

The news segment and other programing divisions are separate aspects.

So now the Reactionary Extreme element of the republican Party wants to attempt censor programs on commercial TV using bullying tactics. I see this much like a child who says that if he cannot be leader he will take his toys and go home.

Yes the Republican Party has sunk to a childish mentality.

This reminds me of a quote by Isaac Asimov.

“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge,”

To expand on Isaac Asimov’s quote, how many times have we heard the extreme reactionary Republicans use the term, “inteligencia”? The Latin based from the word, “intelligence” but used to make it a derogatory meaning for a well educated person who employs critical thinking….which will negate most of the Reactionary Right’s viewpoints.

Another thought came to mind is that the euro zone is officially out of the recession. The growth is driven mostly by France and Germany which these two countries both had Job Stimulus Programs.

As France and Germany moved forward in funding job infrastructure building programs which fueled their recovery, the President here in this country kept running into the stonewalling of the extreme aspects in Congress and Senate for the sole purpose making sure he failed thinking this would give them the White House.

To bring this to a summation, the extreme Republican aspects were willing to extend the economic suffering of the American public for the sole outcome that they would in hopes gain more political influences in this country.

You are correct, Engineer, and I must say, regarding Hillary Clinton documentaries and depictions in film, there is no guarantee that these presentations will be a “whitewash”, and probably will be critical in many ways, and then Reince Priebus and the RNC are going to look totally foolish and ridiculous. But then, they already look that way now!

  4. Engineer Of Knowledge August 17, 2013 9:58 am

Yes Professor you bring up a good point. Plus Hillary Clinton has not said that she is even going to run for the office.

I don’t believe that the demographic segment of our society that is making up the Tea Party and the Reactionary Extremism within the Republican Party, has the ability to realize that THEY are the problem and NOT the answer. I believe they don’t even know what the correct question is.

The issue is that the Democrat party has in the last decade moved so far to the left that it is trying to pull the center more to the left. So now with the complicity, of course of the media and Hollywood promoted culture, we have that what was once considered center is now right and what was right is now considered far right. But that is a fallacy of the left’s mindset. But our problem with the McCains, Grahams and Lindsey type of Republican , is that they surrender and move to the left so as to be perceived as ‘moderates” and be “accepted”. So I ask, since when being in favor of constitutional republicanism, which entails limits on the government to its constitutional functions, individual liberty, personal responsibility, the curtailment of the unlimited powers of the bureaucracy and free economy, extremist?

  6. Ronald August 18, 2013 9:58 am

Interesting, Robert, that you claim the Democratic Party, and you should give respect by calling it that, instead of “Democrat” Party, has moved so far to the left, when what Obama has done is what the Heritage Foundation, Bob Dole, and Newt Gingrich, supported against “HillaryCare” 20 years go on health care. If it is far left to insure that all Americans can have health care, including fetuses once they are born, then we NEED to be far left, since we are so far behind other western societies, and we do NOT have the best health care system in the world, far from it! And McCain, Graham, Enzi, Alexander, McConnell are NOT moderates in any sense, just not totally nutty and reckless with the good faith and credit of the United States government. So it is the Tea Party which is extremist, ready to destroy, and only representing old white people in the South and Midwest and Great Plains, who want what they want, but only for themselves, and let’s go back to the 19th century, instead of dealing with the reality of the 21st century, and what is needed is applying the broad interpretation of the Constitution enunciated by Hamilton, and adopted ultimately by Jefferson!

Everybody knows that the Bush/Cheney dice were loaded, But Everybody had to rolled with their fingers crossed.
Everybody knows that the social economic war is almost over, Everybody knows the good guys lost.
Everybody knows the fight was fixed, The poor stayed poor, the rich got rich.
That’s how it goes, and Everybody knows!
Everybody knows that the boat is leaking, Everybody knows that the captain lied.
Everybody’s got this broken feeling, Like their hopes for their futures just died.
Everybody talking to their empty pockets, But Bush/Cheney’s friends got a box of chocolates,
    And a long stem rose,
    EVERYBODY KNOWS!

By the way, I’ll be on the radio again tonight addressing over 4000 households listening in. I think this will be a good topic to bring up and expose the nonsence of some factless viewpoints others may have. Thank you again for providing a topic to touch upon.

  9. Robert August 18, 2013 3:07 pm

Hopelessness. We have a lawless President who has contempt for the law and the Constitution yet some only know how to regurgitate mindless infantile talking points. It’s truly hopeless.

  10. Engineer Of Knowledge August 18, 2013 3:51 pm

Between the years 1980 & 2005, 80% of the new income generated in the U.S. went to the richest 1%.

Let me put this another way to help visualize this fact. If 100 people ordered a pizza cut into 100 slices. The first person to open the box selfishly took 80 slices for himself.

Should someone have the audacity to ask him to only take 79 slices so someone else might have one; the outrage answer coming back to him was, “That’s Socialism!”

This is the current conservative mindset. It will be correct in the next few years.

Just as nature abhors a vacuum, and a pendulum abhors anything past an ambient centroid medium; political atmospheres abhors anything past moderate and equal treatment views. The farther you push that pendulum to the right and less equal to others, the farther it will swing back to the opposite side of the political spectrum free.

So if someone one the right thinks things are going too far to the left, they have no one to blame but themselves. This is a bitter pill for the extreme right to accept but never the less it is still the truth.

  11. Ronald August 18, 2013 4:02 pm

Thanks, Engineer, and congratulations on your radio spot.

Robert, are you trying to claim that Bush and Cheney were NOT lawless, that they did NOT have contempt for the Constitution and the law?

And to say I, and others, such as Engineer, have “mindless talking points” that we regurgitate, I would suggest you look in the mirror as YOU are the one spouting silly, ridiculous statements that have no basis in fact!

There is the old saying: Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but NOT to the facts!

  12. Engineer Of Knowledge August 18, 2013 4:03 pm

Well if you have proof of lawlessness, then present it so the indictments can be handed down. Nixon was not above the law and the system worked.

If you do not have this proof to warrant this indictment, then you have just been caught into another nihilistic rehortic lie for which you are so well known for.

I think I am quite safe in this matter. You are a wealth of material and I thank you again.

  13. Ronald August 18, 2013 4:06 pm

Thanks, Engineer, for your challenge to Robert. There is no basis for saying lawlessness is taking place, but there are Republicans and conservatives who talk about impeachment, so let them bring it on, and cause total disgust and repudiation by the American people, who look at the Tea Party, at what it is—anarchistic, nihilistic, racist, confederate based primarily, and 19th century mentality on the role of government–the Gilded Age mentality!

Lulz @ You Know Who In Disguise! The issue is that the Republicans have moved very far to the right.

  18. Princess Leia August 19, 2013 3:11 pm

Thanks for posting that Jane Doe. The Democratic Party leans left on social issues, but they certainly aren’t as radical as those groups listed.
