Great idea. Biden has a charisma and charm about himself when he's in front of a camera or addressing the media. He has always been one of my favorite Democrats and someone I had hoped would take the Presidency in 2004 and 2008. Obama would be wise to utilize his talents and like you had mentioned, play "hard ball" with the far right elements of the GOP. Biden has been known for the occasional gaffe, but his ability to connect with people and be so genuine in his approach.

My hopes for 2011 are for Obama to grow into his role and use his talents to win over the American people and shift the balance of power back to the left. Biden can truly be a asset and help to accomplish such goals, but Obama needs to get him out there. The Tea Party has alienated many Centrist Republicans and now is the time to capitalize on that and further strain the relations between moderate and Tea Party Republicans.
